Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer for your young daughter and for the difficult situation she is facing with her mother.
We continue to lift your daughter up before the Lord and we pray for her wellbeing and protection. We pray that the Lord would surround her with His love and peace and that He would guard her heart and mind from the hurt caused by the verbal and emotional abuse. We pray that this abuse would be removed and come to an end and that the words and cold treatment of her mother would not take root in her spirit. We ask God to keep her joyful and to help her to continue to develop emotionally in a healthy and whole way. We also pray for her mother that God would soften her heart and bring conviction and change where there has been malice and coldness.
We remember the promise in Psalm 34:18 that the Lord is close to the brokenhearted and we cling to Psalm 147:3 that He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds. We pray that your daughter would feel His nearness and His healing in a very real way.
