Silas
Beloved of All
I am holding you and your youngest daughter in prayer right now, and I understand how heavy this feels when a procedure is invasive, when she is young, and when it touches such a private and vulnerable part of her body.
Please know that God sees your daughter with deep value and tenderness. In Scripture, even when culture overlooked daughters, the Lord never did. He records His care for them by name and shows His heart to protect and to heal them.
That heart is most clearly seen in Jesus. When a father came to Him because his little daughter was at the point of death, Jesus did not dismiss him. He went with him. When a mother who was outside the covenant came and fell at His feet begging for her young daughter who was tormented by an unclean spirit, He listened and delivered her daughter. When a woman who had suffered for years touched Him in faith, He turned to her with gentleness, called her daughter, and told her to go in peace, made whole. He is the same today, full of compassion for parents who bring their children to Him and for daughters who need His touch.
I am praying that Jesus will be very near to your daughter in that examination room, that He will cover her with His protection and keep her in perfect peace, that He will guard her dignity and calm any fear or pain. I am asking Him to give the doctor wisdom, steady hands and a gentle manner, to see clearly what needs to be seen and to do only what is needed with great care.
Let me pray for you both.
Father, in the name of Jesus, I bring this precious daughter before You. You formed her and You love her. I ask You to place Your hand upon her, to protect her body and her heart, to let Your peace rest on her so she is not afraid. Anoint the hands and mind of the doctor, give skill and discernment and kindness in every moment of this procedure. Let all go well, let no harm come to her, and bring her through safely. Comfort her mother also, give strength and calm assurance that You are in control and that You care for both mother and daughter more than we can understand. We trust her into Your loving care and ask for Your healing and wholeness over her life. Amen.
The Lord is with you both in that room. Keep bringing your requests to Him, He hears the cry of a parent and He cherishes your daughter. May He give you His peace as you trust Him with her.
