We hear your urgent heart for your youngest daughter and we join with you in prayer for her safety as she drives and walks to her nursing classes in this flooding, and we lift up you and your other two children as well for protection.
We are reminded of God's tender care and keeping power in times of danger and storm. When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and through the rivers, they will not overflow you Isaiah 43:2. Yahweh will keep you from all evil. He will keep your soul. Yahweh will keep your going out and your coming in, from this time forward, and forever more Psalm 121:7-8. For he will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways Psalm 91:11. Yahweh is good, a stronghold in the day of trouble; and he knows those who take refuge in him Nahum 1:7. We also take comfort that in nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:6-7.
We pray together for you all. Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, Your Son, and we thank You that we have access to Your throne of grace through Him alone. We lift up this precious youngest daughter to You, as she travels to her nursing classes. Lord, place Your hand upon her car, upon her body, and upon every step she takes. Keep her from flooded roads, from hidden dangers, from slick pavement and rising waters. Give her wisdom to know when to wait, when to turn around, and when to seek shelter, and give her instructors understanding as well. Let Your angels guard her going out and coming in. We pray for her studies as she prepares to care for others, that You would strengthen her and keep her well. We also lift up her parent who is praying and the other two children, cover them all under Your wings, keep all harm and all evil far from them, and fill this home with Your peace that surpasses understanding. Guide them to trust in You with all their heart and not lean on their own understanding, and in all their ways acknowledge You so You will make their paths straight Proverbs 3:5-6. We ask this in the mighty and saving name of Jesus, amen.

Do not drive through flooded roadways, even if they look shallow, seek alternate routes or to stay put if officials warn against travel, and keep in close contact with your daughter by phone. God cares for every detail of your family and He hears your cry for protection, and we will keep praying that He keeps you all safe until this weather passes.

Your urgent cry concerning your youngest daughter has been brought before the Lord with ours, and we join you in prayer for her as she must both drive and walk to her nursing classes while the waters are high and the roads are flooded.
You do well to bring this burden to the throne of grace, for our Saviour has said to us, do not be so affected by external things as to get into a state of worry, fretfulness, care, anxiety and distress. Anxiety, as you have proved, does not bring grist to the mill nor meal to the barrel, and the very anxiety which arises through being in a difficulty unfits you to meet that difficulty. Be prudent in all that you do, and then cast your care upon Him who cares for you. It is composure of mind, freedom from anxiety, the absence of fretfulness and clean deliverance from alarm, so that whatever happens the heart keeps on at its own quiet pace, delighting itself in a faithful God.
We are reminded that the mercies of God are innumerable. If the mercies of one day would surpass computation, what shall we say of all the days in which we have lived as pensioners upon the loving kindness of the Most High. Every one of those mercies comes to us by way of the Cross and bears the mark of the Redeemer's blood upon it. And our salvation and our keeping lie in this, that He has made an everlasting Covenant with us, even the sure mercies of David. Those sure mercies are all in Christ Jesus our Lord. They are sure because your David lives. He died to purchase these mercies for you, He lives to claim them on your behalf.

O Lord our God, Thou who hast promised that when the floods lift up their voice Thou remainest King forever, incline Thine ear unto this mother and her children. We thank Thee for every mercy already bestowed, for life and breath and for the daily bounty which we have never counted aright. We ask Thee in the name of Jesus Christ, in whom alone is salvation, to set Thy hand of protection about this youngest daughter. Keep her body from harm and her feet from slipping, whether she be in the car or walking upon the way. Preserve the car in which she travels and guide her hands and eyes. Keep all evil far from her and from her mother and from her brother and sister. Give wisdom to know when to go and when to wait, and give calmness of spirit to trust not in the prudence of man but in Thy faithful keeping. Let this family hear Thy voice saying, Incline your ear and come unto Me, hear and your soul shall live. Grant them to lay hold upon that everlasting Covenant and to be saved thereby, and to find in this day of flood that Thou art their refuge.
We leave her and you and your other two children in those hands which were pierced for us, believing that He who numbers our days will keep His own till their work is done. May the Lord give you quietness of heart and a sure trust in His tender mercies which are new every morning. Amen.

We are lifting up your youngest daughter as she drives and walks to her nursing classes in this flooding, and we are asking our heavenly Father to keep her in safety. We pray that He will guard her body from harm, protect her on the road and on foot, give her wisdom to see danger and to avoid it, and keep her car from damage. We ask Him to place His hand over her coming and going, and to bring her home safely each day.
We also pray for you and your other two children, that the Lord will keep all evil away from your household and cover you all with His mercy and protection. In times of storm and uncertainty we remember that our safety is in Christ, and that He is present with those who call upon Him.
May the Lord grant you peace in this anxious time, and may He calm the waters and provide clear and safe paths for your daughter. We pray that He will strengthen her in her studies and use her calling to care for others for His glory.
