Beloved of All
Safety and wisdom for my youngest daughter please. She is having a hard time emotionally trying to break up with a man who confuses her. It seems there is some Mexican santera or black magic being done on her Give her clarity and wisdom and protect her and her mind jesus

We hear your deep concern for your daughter’s safety, both emotionally and spiritually, and we stand with you in lifting her up before the Lord. The confusion and emotional turmoil she is experiencing are not of God, for He is not the author of chaos but of peace (1 Corinthians 14:33). The mention of santera or black magic is deeply troubling, as Scripture is clear that we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places (Ephesians 6:12). These practices are an abomination to the Lord (Deuteronomy 18:10-12), and we must take this seriously, rebuking any influence of darkness in Jesus’ name.

First, we must address the relationship itself. If this man is causing your daughter such distress and confusion, it is a sign that this connection is not aligned with God’s will for her life. The Bible warns us not to be unequally yoked with unbelievers (2 Corinthians 6:14), and if this man is involved in or even tolerating occult practices, he is not walking in the light of Christ. We must pray that your daughter’s eyes are opened to the truth of his influence over her life and that she finds the strength to walk away completely, cutting off all contact. The enemy often uses emotional attachments to keep us bound, but in Christ, she has the power to break free (John 8:36).

We also rebuke any spiritual oppression or demonic influence that may be at work in this situation. The name of Jesus is above every name, and at His name, every knee must bow (Philippians 2:9-10). We command any spirit of confusion, deception, or fear to flee from your daughter in the mighty name of Jesus. We declare that she is covered by the blood of Christ, and no weapon formed against her shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). The Lord is her refuge and fortress, and He will deliver her from the snare of the fowler (Psalm 91:2-3).

Father God, we come before You with heavy hearts, lifting up this precious daughter to You. Lord, we ask that You would surround her with Your angels, protecting her mind, heart, and spirit from every scheme of the enemy. Give her clarity and wisdom to see this situation for what it truly is, a snare meant to draw her away from You. Strengthen her resolve to break free from this toxic relationship and to cut off all ties with this man. Fill her with Your peace that surpasses all understanding, guarding her heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). Lord, we declare that she is Your beloved child, and no power of darkness can prevail against her when she is walking in Your truth. Renew her mind with Your Word, and let her find her identity and worth in You alone. We pray for a hedge of protection around her, that no evil would come near her dwelling (Psalm 91:10). Father, we also pray for repentance and salvation for this man if he does not know You, that he would turn from these dark practices and come into the light of Your love. But if he is unrepentant, we ask that You remove him from her life completely. Give her the courage to walk away and the faith to trust You with her future. In the powerful name of Jesus, we pray, Amen.

We encourage your daughter to immerse herself in Scripture, particularly in the Psalms, where she can find comfort and strength in God’s promises. She should also seek fellowship with other believers who can pray with her and support her during this time. The enemy thrives in isolation, but where two or more are gathered in Jesus’ name, He is there in the midst of them (Matthew 18:20). If she has not already, she must renounce any involvement or curiosity she may have had with occult practices, even if it was unintentional. She should confess this to the Lord, asking for His forgiveness and cleansing (1 John 1:9), and then fill her mind and heart with the truth of God’s Word.

We also urge you, as her parent, to stand in the gap for her in prayer. Intercede on her behalf, declaring God’s promises over her life and rebuking any spiritual attacks. The enemy may try to use this situation to bring fear, but perfect love casts out fear (1 John 4:18). Remind her that God has not given her a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). Encourage her to seek godly counsel from a pastor or mature Christian who can help her navigate this season with wisdom.

Lastly, we want to remind both of you that salvation is found in no one else but Jesus Christ (Acts 4:12). It is only through His name that we have access to the Father, and it is only by His blood that we are cleansed from sin. If your daughter has not yet surrendered her life to Christ, now is the time. She must confess with her mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in her heart that God raised Him from the dead, and she will be saved (Romans 10:9). This is the foundation of her protection and victory in every area of her life. We pray that she would come to know Him more deeply and experience the freedom that is found only in Him.

We can hear how much you love your daughter and how heavy this feels right now. Watching someone you care about be tangled up in confusion, especially when you sense something darker at work, is deeply unsettling. As we pray with you, we want to focus first on what her immediate needs seem to be: safety, clarity, and the strength to make a clean break.

Often, when a person feels confused and unable to leave a relationship, it isn't only a spiritual battle, it can also be the mark of emotional manipulation. A controlling partner may use denial, mixed signals, or twisting reality until she no longer trusts her own judgment. That dynamic can feel like a fog or even something malevolent, but naming it as what it is, an unhealthy, possibly emotionally abusive tie, can be the beginning of clarity for her.

One of the most practical things you can do is to gently encourage her to get some physical and emotional space from this man, and to talk with a wise Christian counselor or pastor who can help her sort through her thoughts without pressure. If she is willing, linking arms with a couple of steady, truth-telling friends will also make a huge difference. If there is any threat to her safety, please help her make a plan to not be alone with him anymore.

Let's take this straight to Jesus now:

Lord Jesus, we ask You to wrap this daughter in Your peace. Clear her mind of every fog and fear, and let her see what is really going on in this relationship. Give her the courage to walk away and the wisdom to know who to trust. We pray against anything that would seek to bind her or keep her stuck in confusion, whether through manipulation or spiritual darkness, and we ask You to protect her heart and mind in Christ. Bring safe, godly people alongside her, and comfort her mother as she waits. In Your strong name, Amen.

How the evil one seeks to entangle the feet of your dear child, and how your heart is wrung with fear and trembling! Yet be of good courage: the Lord has not given us the spirit of bondage again to fear. He who delivered Israel from the house of bondage, who brought them forth with silver and gold, even while the adversary raged, is the same God who hears your cry this very hour. Has He not said, "I have found a ransom"? And that ransom is not a matter of silver or gold, but the precious blood of Christ, who has spoiled principalities and powers, and made a shew of them openly, triumphing over them in His cross.

The darkness you fear, call it santera or witchcraft, is but a shadow cast by the prince of the power of the air. His black officers may whisper lies and breed confusion, yet they cannot pluck an heir of grace from the Father’s hand. The Lord who keeps Israel neither slumbers nor sleeps; He will not suffer the wicked to approach her with their enchantments, for there is no divination against Jacob. Your daughter’s safety does not lie in her own strength of mind, but in the Deliverer who says to the captive soul, "Go free." He it is who must give her clarity; He must shatter the cords of emotional confusion, and He will do it, for He delights to deliver those who are bound.

Tell her, and tell yourself, to flee to the throne of grace for wisdom. He giveth to all liberally and upbraideth not. The promise stands open: "If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God." She may feel as one lost in a black forest at midnight, seeing nothing but the thick darkness; yet faith looks beyond the intervening gloom and sees the morning already breaking. Let her rest her weakness upon the omnipotent arm, and in the quiet confidence of prayer lay hold upon the delivering power of her covenant God. No stratagem of hell can withstand the mighty voice which said, "Let My people go."

Remember Jacob at the brook Jabbok, full of dread at the coming of Esau. He wrestled, he wept, he made supplication; and when morning broke, the dreaded brother fell upon his neck and kissed him. So shall it be with your daughter: either the man shall be utterly removed, or his heart shall be changed; but in any case, she shall be brought forth from this snare. The Lord’s clock of mercy will strike in the hour of His purpose, and the deliverance shall be so signal that afterward you will say, "I shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the Lord."

In the meantime, though the Lord may chasten her sorely for a season, He does not give her over unto death. These troubles, which seem so black, are but the black ships that come from afar, bringing precious cargo. When the deliverance arrives, it will be attended with enrichment, silver and gold of deepened experience, a knowledge of His faithfulness that no calm could ever teach. She will learn that deliverance from the guilt and power of sin is all of God, not of the will of man, and her tongue will be loosed to show forth His praise.

Lay hold upon the ransom already found in Christ Jesus; that is the one shield against every assault of the wicked one. Present an empty hand of faith, and receive the Pearl of great price on her behalf. Remind her that He who brought her forth from the Egypt of her unbelief will not now desert her in the wilderness. Be constant in prayer, and as the prophet did, set the watchman on the walls to give the Lord no rest until He establish and make His daughter a praise in the earth. Soon, I trust, you will see her standing, clear-eyed and steady, a monument to His delivering grace, and together we shall sing the song of Moses and the Lamb.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your cry for your daughter reaches the very throne of mercy, for you have made her calamity your own, and you plead not merely for her deliverance but as one suffering her innumerable woes with full consciousness of the danger. This is the voice of a true parent, one who feels the madness pressing upon her mind as if it were your own.

The confusion that besets her is the dangerous insanity of the soul, a mind made turbid and disordered, mistaking phantoms for reality. When one is seized by such a fever, throwing the understanding into chaos, the bonds of politeness and gentle persuasion must yield to the urgency of deliverance. Let there be a holy violence in your counsel, a rebuke that looks only to her benefit. Do not be a passive bystander while she is overcome by a swarm of deceits.

That which masquerades as magic or sorcery is nothing but a distorted phantom, a snare to confuse the eye of her understanding. Your daughter’s mind is the battleground, and clarity can only be restored by driving out the imaginary terrors with the truth. She must be pulled from this entanglement, for her very soul is at stake.

Do not let scrupulous inquiry hinder your charity now. The hand must be stretched out to the sinner and the confused, not merely to the righteous. This is the very essence of love. And have confidence: her fledgling faith, however besieged, is the cord that binds her to the One who can make her whole. He calls out to the fearful and the afflicted, "Daughter, be of good cheer." Her faith, if it endures, will prove her a true daughter, and that faith will be the instrument of her healing.

Just as He committed His own mother to the beloved disciple’s care, knitting them together in charity, so He has entrusted this daughter to your vigilant love. Honor that sacred charge. And know that the mind resting in the truth of Christ enjoys a profound calm, settled as in a harbor. The man who was wronged by his own daughter did not utter a bitter word, restrained by a stronger bridle of love. Let that same love, firm and unwavering, guide you now as you speak the truth to her, for her body and soul are in need of a physician who will not flatter the disease. The goal is her salvation, her deliverance from this tempest, so that she may stand sound of mind before the judgment seat, not cowering in confusion but robed in clarity.

The weight of what you are describing is a battle over your daughter’s mind, and that is always the first territory where confusion and fear try to take hold. When a person’s emotions are tangled up with someone who keeps them in a fog of confusion, clarity becomes both the greatest need and the hardest thing to find. The thoughts and images she cannot shake, the sense of something dark pressing in, these are not things she can untangle by simply analyzing the relationship more. There is a deeper thirst in her spirit that only the living God can satisfy, and the enemy loves to offer counterfeits that feel intense and consuming. Every emotional entanglement that promises fulfillment but leaves her more empty and conflicted is a lie designed to keep her drinking from a well that can never give life. The Lord Jesus said, “If anyone thirsts, let him come to Me and drink.” That spiritual thirst cannot be quenched by a person, by a romantic bond, or by the emotional highs that such a bond might promise. Plead with her to see that the confusion itself is a sign that this is not from God. The Lord does not author confusion. He grants peace to the mind that is stayed on Him.

What you are asking for is that she be given the power to recall something to her mind amidst the storm. When every sight and memory seems imprinted there, trying to form a chain that holds her, the only way to break it is to change the thought pattern entirely. The prophet who looked out on desolation began to say, “This I recall to my mind, therefore I have hope.” He deliberately turned his thoughts from the wreckage to the faithfulness of God, and then he declared what he knew to be true: “Great is Your faithfulness.” That is the pivot. While her mind is fixed on the turmoil of leaving, on the threats or the manipulations, she will remain in despair. But God has promised perfect peace to the one whose mind is steadfastly set on Him. That is not a passive feeling. It is an active, repeated turning away from the taunting thoughts of the enemy and fixing her gaze on Jesus Christ, who has already disarmed every power of darkness. He seeks to influence us toward what is good because He loves us, but He never overrides our will. Pray that your daughter, in the depths of her heart, exercises her God-given choice to cry out for His mind to replace hers. When she does, the hold of fear and confusion will begin to break, because no form of sorcery or manipulation can stand against the name of Jesus spoken in faith.

We also must be sober about the reality of spiritual contamination. A person cannot live in the midst of corruption, tolerating what God calls unclean, and expect to remain under the full canopy of His protective covering. The Scripture is firm: “Come out from among them and be separate, says the Lord. Do not touch what is unclean, and I will receive you.” There is a profound danger in lingering in a bond that is rooted in things that are abhorrent to God, whether that is the sin of sexual immorality or any practice that seeks power from demonic sources. To remain in such a yoke is to place oneself directly in the path of spiritual harm. God’s protection is not a magical shield we carry while we hold hands with what He has condemned. It is the shelter that covers those who are walking with Him, submitting to His ways. This is why she must flee. The confusion is not just emotional. It is a cloud meant to keep her from taking decisive action. The enemy does not need her permission to oppress her, but he exploits her passive acceptance of sinful ties. She must act on the clarity God provides and sever that bond completely. The influence of darkness works through lingering.

Pray with me now for her deliverance and a renewed mind. Lord Jesus, You are the Good Shepherd who calls Your own by name. I lift up this beloved daughter to You right now. In Your mighty name, I bind every spirit of confusion, every assignment of sorcery, and every dark force that has been sent to cloud her thinking. You have not given her a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind. I ask You to grant her a sudden and piercing clarity to see this man and this entanglement as You see it. Break the emotional chain that has held her captive. Surround her mind with the perfect peace that comes from fixing her thoughts on You alone. Give her the courage to walk out without looking back, trusting that You are her shield and her exceedingly great reward. Cover her, Lord, with Your precious blood, and hide her in the secret place of Your presence until the storm passes. May the very schemes of the enemy become the platform for her great deliverance and victory. We declare that her soul thirsts for You, and only You will satisfy her. Amen.
