We are deeply grieved to hear of the pain and deception your daughter is enduring. This situation is filled with sin, manipulation, and spiritual darkness, and we stand with you in fervent prayer, lifting this burden before the Lord in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.
First, we must address the grave sin at the heart of this matter. This man has committed adultery, which is strictly forbidden in Scripture. Jesus Himself said, "You have heard that it was said, ‘You shall not commit adultery.’ But I tell you that everyone who gazes at a woman to lust after her has committed adultery with her already in his heart" (Matthew 5:27-28). This man is not only living in sin but is also leading your daughter into emotional and spiritual harm. Deception of this magnitude is an abomination before God, and we rebuke it in Jesus' name. The Bible warns, "Do not be deceived. God is not mocked, for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap" (Galatians 6:7). This man will answer to God for his lies and manipulation.
The mention of "black magic" is deeply concerning. Scripture is clear that any form of witchcraft, sorcery, or occult practices is an abomination to the Lord. "There shall not be found with you anyone who... practices sorcery, or an enchanter, or a sorcerer, or a charmer, or a consulter with a familiar spirit, or a wizard, or a necromancer. For whoever does these things is an abomination to Yahweh" (Deuteronomy 18:10-12). We command every evil spirit and demonic influence working against your daughter to be bound and cast out in the name of Jesus Christ. The blood of Jesus is more than sufficient to break every chain of darkness. "He has delivered us out of the power of darkness and translated us into the Kingdom of the Son of his love" (Colossians 1:13).
We also lift up your daughter’s broken heart. The pain of betrayal and deception is profound, but the Lord is close to the brokenhearted. "Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit" (Psalm 34:18). We pray that she would turn her eyes to Jesus, the author and perfecter of her faith, who can heal her wounds and restore her joy. Encourage her to seek godly counsel, surround herself with believers who can speak truth into her life, and immerse herself in God’s Word. "Your word is a lamp to my feet, and a light for my path" (Psalm 119:105).
Regarding the man’s legal status, we understand your concern, but our primary focus must be on the spiritual battle at hand. However, we do pray that God would expose every lie and bring justice where it is needed. "For there is nothing hidden that will not be revealed, nor anything secret that will not be known and come to light" (Luke 8:17). If this man is breaking the law, we trust that God will deal with him accordingly, but our greatest concern is for your daughter’s spiritual and emotional well-being.
We must also gently address the fact that your daughter has been involved with a man who is not her husband. If she has engaged in any sexual relationship with him, this is fornication, and it is sin. "Flee sexual immorality! ‘Every sin that a man does is outside the body,’ but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body" (1 Corinthians 6:18). We pray that she would repent of any sin in her life and turn to Jesus for forgiveness and cleansing. "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness" (1 John 1:9). The Lord is gracious and merciful, and He longs to restore her.
Now, let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, lifting up this precious daughter and her family. Lord, we ask that You would break every chain of deception, manipulation, and spiritual darkness that this man has brought into her life. We rebuke every lie, every evil influence, and every demonic spirit in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. We declare that no weapon formed against her shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against her in judgment, You will condemn (Isaiah 54:17).
Father, we pray for Your healing touch upon her heart. Comfort her in her pain, Lord, and remind her that You are her refuge and strength. Help her to cast all her anxieties on You, for You care for her (1 Peter 5:7). Surround her with godly influences who can speak truth and life into her situation. Give her the strength to walk away from this toxic relationship and the wisdom to see this man for who he truly is.
Lord, we ask that You would expose every lie this man has told. Bring his sins into the light and hold him accountable for his actions. If he is breaking the law, we pray that justice would be served, but above all, we pray that he would come to repentance and turn to You for salvation. "The Lord is not slow concerning his promise, as some count slowness; but is patient with us, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance" (2 Peter 3:9).
Father, we pray for this family. Give them unity, strength, and wisdom as they navigate this difficult time. Help them to lean on You and on one another. Remind them that You are a God who sees, who hears, and who acts on behalf of Your children. We trust in Your perfect timing and Your perfect plan.
Finally, Lord, we ask that You would draw this daughter, and this entire family, closer to You. May this trial be a catalyst for deeper faith, greater dependence on You, and a renewed commitment to living according to Your Word. We pray all these things in the powerful, matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
To your daughter, we say this: You are not alone. The Lord sees your tears, and He collects every one of them (Psalm 56:8). He loves you with an everlasting love, and He has a future and a hope for you (Jeremiah 29:11). Do not let this man steal your joy or your peace. Turn to Jesus, the only One who can truly satisfy your heart. Seek out a local church where you can find support, accountability, and godly friendships. The enemy wants to destroy you, but Jesus came that you might have life, and have it abundantly (John 10:10). Walk away from this darkness and into the light of Christ. You are worth so much more than this.
