Beloved of All
Safety for my youngest daughter driving ### right now and later today and for the next months as she studies to help those with ### problems becoming a ###. She has to park far away and walk to ###. This world. Help her jesus in every way. Help her do well

We lift up your precious daughter to the Lord with urgency, knowing that her safety is in His hands. The world can be a dangerous and unpredictable place, but we serve a God who is sovereign over all things. Father, we ask that You would be a shield around her as she drives, walks, and goes about her studies. Protect her from harm, accidents, and any evil intentions of others. Place Your angels around her to guard her steps, as it is written in Psalm 91:11-12, "For he will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways. They will bear you up in their hands, so that you won’t dash your foot against a stone."

Lord, we also pray for her heart and mind as she prepares to help others. May she be filled with Your wisdom, compassion, and discernment. Guide her studies and use her for Your glory in this important work. Help her to see those she serves through Your eyes, with love and grace, while also standing firm on the truth of Your Word. We pray that You would give her strength, focus, and peace as she navigates this season of life.

We rebuke any fear or anxiety that may try to take hold of her or your family. Fear does not come from God, but He has given us a spirit of power, love, and self-control (2 Timothy 1:7). We declare that she will walk in confidence, knowing that You are with her always.

Father, we also ask that You would draw her closer to You during this time. May she seek You first in all things and find her strength and purpose in You. Help her to lean on You for every decision, every challenge, and every victory. We pray that she would grow in her faith and be a light to those around her, pointing others to the hope found only in Jesus Christ.

Lord, we thank You for hearing our prayers and for Your faithfulness. We trust in Your promises and ask that You would watch over her today, tomorrow, and in the months ahead. In the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you to continue praying for your daughter and to remind her of God’s promises. Encourage her to call upon the name of Jesus in every situation, for there is power in His name. If she does not yet have a personal relationship with Him, now is the time to surrender her life to Christ. Romans 10:9 says, "If you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved." Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). May she come to know Him deeply and walk in His protection and peace.

We hear the urgency in your words, and we’re joining you right now in lifting up your daughter. The picture you painted, her long drive, the parking, the walk to her studies, makes it easy to imagine why your heart feels heavy. It’s not just physical safety; it’s the weight of watching your child step into a broken world to serve people who are hurting. That takes real courage, and so does letting her go.

While we pray, one thing that can quietly steady both of you is staying connected through the day. A quick text when she arrives, or a brief call just to pray a sentence or two together, can remind her she’s not alone and give you a tangible way to release your fear. Small, regular acts of kindness like that often speak louder than we expect, not just for practical help, but as a reminder that someone is truly with her.

We also want to encourage you: the very thing that makes this season nerve-racking is also a mark of God’s hand on her life. She’s preparing to bring His compassion to people whose problems often feel invisible. That kind of calling doesn’t go unattended by Him. So as we ask for safety, we can also thank Him for the heart He’s given her.

Let’s pray together: Father, we place this treasured daughter in Your care, right now, today, and in the months ahead. Guard her on the road and in every parking lot and pathway. Give her sound judgment, a quiet spirit, and Your angels around her. As she studies, sharpen her mind and deepen her compassion. Quiet her mom’s heart with Your peace, and let them both feel Your nearness. We trust her fully to You, in Jesus’ name. Amen.

You feel the heavy weight of a world that presses in upon your child, a world that snarls like a beast at the heels of the young pilgrim. You see the long walk from the parked car to the halls of study, and your heart trembles at the loneliness of the path. Is this not precisely what it means to be called out? The effectual calling, the true call of God, always has a going out and a going out alone. Abraham went out, not knowing whither he went, and the divine call to your daughter’s heart to study and to serve, this too forbids trust in our own doings and conducts us to Christ alone. That lonely walk is a consecrated path where the Shepherd leads His own sheep by name, and a stranger they will not follow, for they know His voice.

Consider the very trouble you feel for her. Why are you troubled, and why do doubts arise in your heart? It would be a great pity to be troubled for nothing. The Lord Jesus, who bids the troubled come unto Him, does not stand aloof from this very anxiety. He permitted the cabin boy to be thrown overboard by the rough captain only that the captain might plunge in to rescue him, and in doing so, discover the boy was his own long-lost son. So our great Captain hurls our cares upon the waves that He might dive in after them and reveal His heart to us. He wants you for your own sake, to do you good, not to get anything good out of you.

Cast this care upon Him, for He cares for you. You cannot stand as priest over your daughter’s safety; you must let Him, the great High Priest, carry this burden. If the king commands his servant to mind the king’s business and promises to mind the servant’s, shall not the King of Heaven do more? Put all into the Mediator’s hands, fit hands both towards God and towards man, for He alone knows both to perfection. The very fact that she is studying to help those with afflictions of the mind and soul is itself a call from Heaven, a heavenly calling. The Master is preparing her, even through this present danger, to be a cup of consolation to others. The sickbed, the long fearful walk, the daily dread, these are the tools of the Holy Spirit sanctifying her for this work. Be thankful for trouble, for it works an eternal benefit for the saints.

Do not look so much at the gathering storm as at the One who commands it. Jesus could truly say, "Ye shall leave Me alone: and yet I am not alone, because the Father is with Me." So it is for your daughter. Christ does not say, "I shall not be alone," in some distant future, but "I am not alone" in this present moment of need. The Lord of Heaven looks down upon His creature, that is mercy; but for Him to walk beside her to that very car and that very building, to stoop so low as to look up to one of His own creatures, that becomes mercy indeed. He will come and tarry with her, and consecrate her for His own for ever.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

It is right to cry out to Jesus for your daughter’s safety, for prayer is a mighty weapon and the morning sacrifice that arms us against the day’s storms. Yet remember what the Apostle insists: we ourselves must be on the alert. Let her not only rely on your prayers but rise early to make God propitious by her own supplication. When she walks from the distant parking, let her call on the Name of Jesus repeatedly; the Name that calmed the sea needs no great preamble, for the Lord hears always those who cling to their confession with a sincere heart.

But note the condition: God’s defense is not automatic. As in the days of Hezekiah, the city was spared for righteousness’ sake, but when wickedness prevailed, even the intercession of Noah, Daniel, and Job could not turn away disaster. So examine the life you both lead. You ask for help in her studies and her journey, and that is good; but far more necessary is that she flees from the laxity of this world, that she walks in chastity, sobriety, and fear of God. A soul fortified with virtue crosses the tempest of the marketplace without shipwreck; without that, even a parked car a few steps away becomes a snare. Let her not trust in her own strength and say, “What need have I of prayer?” That very thought is the prelude to a fall. The grace of the Spirit and God’s help are a twofold assistance; but if grace is deserted by a careless life, how shall God be with her?

Encourage her therefore to hold fast her profession: that Christ is God, that the Faith is right, that there is a Resurrection and a strict accounting. Let her begin each day meditating on these things, commending her studies, even those that treat of bodily ailments, to the Great Physician of souls. When she walks alone, let her be of good cheer, for faith done in secret makes her a daughter indeed, and Christ will say to her fears, “Be still.” But do not imagine that safety means freedom from all harm; rather, it is the assurance that whatever befalls, her soul is kept for the Lord. Thus I do not merely pray, “Protect her body,” but I say: may she learn to navigate this world as one who needs no external props, having the steersman Christ within. Then she will laugh at enemies, and even if the boat seems to strike a rock, she will pass through unharmed.
