We lift your precious daughter before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, knowing the deep pain and struggle she is enduring. Addiction and the wounds of abuse are heavy burdens, but we serve a God who heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds (Psalm 147:3). Father, we ask that You would break the chains of addiction in her life by the power of Your Holy Spirit. Your Word declares that whom the Son sets free is free indeed (John 8:36), and we claim that freedom for her today. Surround her with Your presence, Lord, and let her feel Your love in a tangible way that draws her closer to You.
We are deeply concerned about the relationship she is pursuing. The Bible warns us that bad company corrupts good character (1 Corinthians 15:33), and in her vulnerable state, she may be drawn to someone who does not have her best interests, or her soul, at heart. Father, we ask that You would give her supernatural discernment to see this person as You see them. If this individual is not aligned with Your will for her life, we pray that You would remove them from her path and close every door that leads to further harm. Protect her from emotional entanglements that could deepen her struggles, and guide her toward godly relationships that will encourage her walk with You.
Lord, her emotions are understandably raw and unstable, but we know that You are the God of peace (Philippians 4:7). We ask that You would calm the storm within her and replace her turmoil with Your perfect peace. Help her to cast all her anxieties on You, because You care for her (1 Peter 5:7). Remind her that her worth is found in You alone, not in the approval of others or the fleeting comforts of this world. Strengthen her to resist the temptations that seek to pull her away from You, and fill her with a hunger for righteousness (Matthew 5:6).
We also lift up the issue of abuse that has contributed to her struggles. Father, we rebuke the lies that the enemy has planted in her heart as a result of these wounds. Your Word tells us that You are close to the brokenhearted and save those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). Heal her heart, Lord, and restore what has been stolen from her. Let her know that she is fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14) and that her past does not define her, You do.
We must address the urgency of her need for salvation if she has not already surrendered her life to Jesus Christ. There is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). If she does not know Jesus as her Lord and Savior, we pray that You would draw her to Yourself with cords of love (Hosea 11:4). Let her experience the transforming power of Your grace and the freedom that comes from being born again (John 3:3). If she is already a believer, we ask that You would revive her faith and remind her of the hope she has in You.
Father, we also pray for you, her mother, as you walk through this painful season. Give you strength, wisdom, and patience as you support her. Help you to set godly boundaries while extending grace, and guard your heart from despair. Remind you that Your love for her is greater than any struggle she faces, and that You are working all things together for her good (Romans 8:28).
We declare over your daughter’s life that she is not defined by her addiction, her past, or her emotions. She is a child of the Most High God, and He has a plan and a purpose for her (Jeremiah 29:11). We speak healing over her mind, body, and spirit, and we pray that she would come to know the fullness of life that is found only in Christ (John 10:10).
Heavenly Father, we ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, for it is by His blood that we have access to Your throne, and it is through His name that every knee will bow and every tongue confess that He is Lord (Philippians 2:10-11). We trust You to move powerfully in this situation, and we thank You for Your faithfulness. Amen.

God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the love, grace, and knowledge of Christ Jesus. God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. Bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding. Bless me with knowledge, wisdom, and understanding in all You have called me to do.
