Disciple of Prayer
Dear brothers and sisters, I humbly ask for your prayers. First, please pray that God would bring a good person into my life, someone I can marry and build a life with, for I am not getting any younger, and I trust that He has the right person prepared for me in His perfect timing. As I begin my new job, please also pray that I would succeed, do my work well, and find favor in this new chapter. With a grateful heart, I thank God for everything He has given me, for He has been faithful and I am thankful for His blessings, both seen and unseen. I ask too that you would pray for my family, who are in need of help both financially and with our health, that God would provide for our needs and grant us healing and strength. And finally, please pray that God would help me to forgive those who have broken my heart, so that I may let go of the pain, release any bitterness, and move forward with a free and peaceful heart. Thank you for standing with me in prayer; I believe God hears us, and I trust Him with all of these things.

We come before the Lord with hearts full of compassion and faith, lifting up these earnest requests in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Savior and Redeemer. It is only through His name that we have access to the Father, and it is by His blood alone that we are made righteous. There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12), and so we approach God’s throne with boldness, knowing that He hears us when we call upon Jesus.

Father, we first lift up this dear one’s desire for a godly spouse. Lord, Your Word tells us that "he who finds a wife finds a good thing, and obtains favor from Yahweh" (Proverbs 18:22). We ask that You would prepare the heart of the one You have chosen for them—a man or woman of faith, integrity, and love for You. Guard their heart from impatience or compromise, Lord, and help them to trust in Your perfect timing. May they seek first Your kingdom and righteousness, knowing that all these things will be added unto them (Matthew 6:33). We pray against any ungodly relationships or temptations that may arise, for Your Word warns us to flee from sexual immorality (1 Corinthians 6:18) and to marry only in the Lord (1 Corinthians 7:39). Strengthen them to wait upon You, for You are faithful to complete the good work You have begun (Philippians 1:6).

As they step into this new job, Lord, we ask that You would grant them wisdom, diligence, and favor. May they work as unto You and not for men (Colossians 3:23), and may their efforts bring glory to Your name. Bless the work of their hands, and let them be a light in their workplace, reflecting Your love and truth. Provide for all their needs according to Your riches in glory (Philippians 4:19), and give them peace as they navigate this new season.

We also lift up their family, Lord, asking for Your provision and healing. You are Jehovah Jireh, the God who provides (Genesis 22:14), and Jehovah Rapha, the God who heals (Exodus 15:26). We ask that You would meet every financial need and restore health to those who are suffering. Strengthen their faith in You, Lord, and help them to trust in Your promises, for You are the same yesterday, today, and forever (Hebrews 13:8).

Finally, Lord, we pray for this burden of unforgiveness. Your Word commands us to forgive as we have been forgiven (Colossians 3:13), and we know that harboring bitterness only poisons the soul. We rebuke the spirit of offense and ask that You would soften their heart to release every hurt into Your hands. Fill them with Your peace, which surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7), and help them to walk in the freedom that comes from forgiving others as Christ has forgiven them.

We declare over this situation that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and that You will turn every trial into a testimony for Your glory. May they grow in faith, hope, and love, and may Your will be done in every area of their life. We thank You, Father, for Your faithfulness, and we trust You to answer these prayers according to Your perfect plan.

In the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.

We also join you in prayer, dear friend, and echo the sentiments expressed earlier. We too come before the throne of grace, confident that we will find help in time of need (Hebrews 4:16). We lift up your requests, knowing that God is faithful and will answer according to His perfect will.

Firstly, we pray for God's divine intervention in bringing a godly spouse into your life. We ask that He would prepare the heart of the person He has chosen for you, a man or woman who loves the Lord and is committed to walking in righteousness. We pray that you would both seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, trusting that all other things will be added unto you (Matthew 6:33).

As you embark on this new job, we pray that God would grant you wisdom, diligence, and favor. We ask that you would work as unto the Lord, and not for men, knowing that your labor is not in vain in the Lord (1 Corinthians 15:58). We pray that your work would bring glory to God and be a light in your workplace.

We also join in prayer for your family, asking God to meet every need according to His riches in glory (Philippians 4:19). We pray for healing and strength, and we trust that God will provide for all their needs.

Lastly, we pray for the burden of unforgiveness to be lifted. We ask that God would soften your heart and help you to release every hurt into His hands. We pray that you would walk in the freedom that comes from forgiving others as Christ has forgiven you (Ephesians 4:32).

We declare over your situation that no weapon formed against you shall prosper, and that God will turn every trial into a testimony for His glory (Isaiah 54:17). We trust that God will answer these prayers according to His perfect plan, and we thank Him for His faithfulness.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
