Urgent prayers needed for my cat ###

Please read this whole request. There is alot. Thankyou. Please pray that God will heal and stop whatever is making my cat ### not eat. She has barely ate anything in 3 days. I have tried everything to help her. The Vet has her on a bunch of medication and appetite stimulant and its not working. Please pray that God will heal ### and allow her to start eating again. Please pray that God will give me the wisdom and guide my actions so that I can help her start eating again. I am beyond devestated and upset and I cannot calm myself. Please pray that God will give ### the strength and the will to fight through this and get better. Please pray that God will hear and answer all of my desperate cries and pleas and prayers and help her start eating again. Thankyou. In Jesus name I ask of all these things and in Jesus name I pray. We join with you in lifting up your beloved cat before the Lord and we hear the deep distress and love in your cries. We know how heavy this burden is when you have tried everything and she still will not eat, and we are seeking God together with you for her healing and for your peace.

We are reminded that our God cares for all of His creation and He sees the love you have for the life He entrusted to you. A righteous man respects the life of his animal Proverbs 12:10 and we know He provides food for the livestock, and for the young ravens when they call Psalm 147:9. Jesus tells us Aren't two sparrows sold for an assarion? Not one of them falls to the ground apart from your Father's will Matthew 10:29. If He notices even the sparrow, how much more does He see your tears and your cat's suffering and your faithful care for her.

We also hear how devastated and anxious you feel and we want to gently encourage you to cast your cares on Him. We are told casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you 1 Peter 5:7 and In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:6-7. Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit Psalm 34:18 and He is near to you now in this waiting and worrying.

We thank you for praying in the precious name of Jesus, for it is through Him we have confidence to approach the Father. We continue to seek Him with you for wisdom for every next step. But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him James 1:5. We encourage you to continue to follow the veterinarian's guidance closely, to keep them informed that the medications and appetite stimulant have not yet worked, to ask about hydration and further testing or a second opinion if needed, and to keep her comfortable and safe while you wait on the Lord.

Father in heaven, we come before You together in the name of Jesus Christ and we lift up this precious cat to You. You created her and You know every detail of her body. We ask that You would touch her and stop whatever is causing her to refuse food. We ask that You would restore her appetite, give her strength and the will to fight, and allow her to eat and drink again and be healed. Guide the hands and minds of the veterinarian and give wisdom and clarity for every decision that needs to be made. We ask that You would guide every action taken to help her and make it effective according to Your will.

Lord, we also lift up the one who loves her so deeply. You see the devastation and the inability to find calm. We ask that You would pour out Your peace that surpasses all understanding to guard heart and mind in Christ Jesus. Let Your presence be felt and let Your comfort calm every anxious thought. Hear every desperate cry and plea, and answer according to Your perfect mercy and love. We trust that You hear us when we pray in Jesus name and we thank You that You care for both people and the animals You have made. We ask all these things in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord. It makes sense you are struggling to find calm right now. We are holding you and in prayer.

Since she has barely eaten in three days and the appetite stimulant has not worked, we encourage you to reach back to your vet promptly and let them know exactly what you are seeing, so they can advise you on next steps. It can help to jot down when she last ate or drank, what you have offered, and how she is acting, to share with them. You do not have to carry this alone either, so if you have a trusted friend, family member or pastor nearby, consider letting them sit with you in this waiting.

We are asking God to be near you both right now.

Father, in Jesus name we lift to You and ask for Your mercy and care over her. Please give her strength and help her body to be able to eat again, and give her owner wisdom and clear guidance for each decision ahead. Calm this dear heart that is so worried and let Your peace and presence be felt in this home. We trust into Your hands. Amen.

Your distress over your beloved cat has been heard, and your many tears and earnest cries have been laid before the Lord with tenderness.

It is a sore trial when a creature entrusted to our care suffers and cannot tell its pain, and when after three days without food and every remedy tried, with the vet's medicines and stimulants failing, the heart is beyond measure cast down and cannot be calmed. The Lord knows this sorrow, for not a sparrow falls without your Father, and He who numbers the hairs of your head beholds also the creatures He has made.

There is a word for you in such an hour, "You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on You, because he trusts in You." Peace, perfect peace, even in this dark world of care, is whispered within by the blood of Jesus. This peace is a present possession, to be enjoyed even with sorrows surging round. Bear your sorrow with Him, stay your mind upon Him, and you shall find that perfect peace which gleams with heavenly light even in the midnight of care. For it is the mind which is the main thing, it will bring you daylight or midnight, peace or war. And have you not found that the very anxiety which arises through your being in a difficulty unfits you to meet that difficulty. Cast then your care upon Him, for He cares for you and for that which He has placed under your hand.

You have asked that God would heal and stop whatever keeps your cat from eating, and give her strength and will to fight through this affliction. We know that there is an abundance of healing power in Jesus Christ, and that even the least thing about Christ is healing, for the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations. There is enough in Christ for every need, and He who healed the sick of the palsy with a word is able still to show mercy. We will entreat Him that if it be His gracious will, He would touch this poor creature and restore her appetite and strength, and make the means used by the vet effectual.

You have asked also for wisdom to guide your actions. That is a right and good prayer. A constant submission to the divine will should be the very atmosphere in which the Christian lives. Put the healing medicine to your lips without murmuring, and say, Not as I will, but as You will. When His children are chastened they submit, and when they submit they obtain peace. Ask of Him who gives wisdom liberally, that you may do all that love and duty require, and leave the issue in His faithful hands.

Let us pray together.

O Lord our God, who hast made all things and whose mercies are over all Thy works, look in compassion upon Thy servant in this hour of great heaviness. Thou hearest desperate cries and pleas, and no sigh is hidden from Thee. Grant perfect peace to this troubled heart, keep the mind stayed upon Thee, and calm the spirit that is overwhelmed. In Thy mercy, if it be Thy will, lay Thy healing hand upon this cat, remove the cause that keeps her from eating, and restore her to eat and to be strengthened. Bless the skill of those who seek to help her, and give wisdom to guide every action with tenderness and care. Above all, let Thy will be done, and let Thy child feel that whether in joy or in sorrow, in Jesus keeping we are safe. We ask all these things in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, who by His stripes we are healed, and in whom alone is salvation and peace. Amen.

Thank you for sharing your whole heart in this request, and for your love and tender care for your cat. I hear how distressed and exhausted you are after three days of watching her not eat, trying everything you can, and seeing the medications and appetite stimulant not yet have effect. It is right and good to bring this burden to the Lord, who hears our desperate cries and who cares for all His creation.

I join you in prayer to our merciful Father through Jesus Christ, asking that He would have compassion on your beloved cat and heal what is causing her loss of appetite. I pray that God would restore her appetite, give her strength and will to fight through this illness, and renew her body so she may eat again and be strengthened. I also pray that God would guide you and the veterinarian with wisdom beyond our own, directing every step and decision for her care, and making clear the path forward.

I pray too that God would calm your heart and grant you His peace in this time of great anxiety and sorrow. The Scriptures remind us that God permits trials and does not leave us alone in them, but He also makes a way to bear them and uses them to awaken us to deeper trust in Him. Even the Apostles, who were given great gifts, did not see every affliction immediately removed, as when Paul left Trophimus sick at Miletus, to show that we must trust not in our own wisdom or control, but in the wisdom and power of God, which is far above ours. He does not always answer as we expect or as quickly as we desire, yet He hears faith, even when it is offered with tears and trembling, and He draws near to those who call on Him.

May the Lord hear and answer your prayers according to His mercy and goodness, grant you wisdom and steady hands as you care for her, and fill you with comfort and strength while you wait upon Him. May He sustain your cat, ease her suffering, and if it be His will, restore her to health and to eating again.

I am praying for you both now, asking all these things in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, who alone is our hope and our salvation. Amen.
