I have read your whole request carefully and I hear the depth of your love and grief for your cat and the heaviness of this burden you are carrying. Thank you for pouring out your heart so honestly.
I join you in prayer before our merciful God who sees every creature He has made and hears every cry of His children. He knows your sorrow and your fear, and He is near to those who are heavy hearted.
Let us pray together. Father in heaven, in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son, I lift up this beloved cat to You. You formed her and You sustain her life. I ask that You would have compassion on her in her suffering. Ease any pain or discomfort she feels, calm her body that is weary from so much illness and so many medicines, and bring healing where healing is possible according to Your will. Touch her brain, her lungs, her stomach and bowels, and restore what is swollen and distressed. I pray that the medications and the appetite stimulant would work gently and effectively, that she would be able to eat again, to keep food down, and to have normal bowel movements. Give her rest and comfort.
Lord, I also lift up her owner who loves her so dearly. Comfort this anxious heart, quiet the fear and dread, and give wisdom and clear guidance for each decision that must be made. Guide the veterinarian with knowledge and care, and if further care is needed, make a way for it to be given with gentleness. If her time to depart this life is near, I pray You would spare her terror and take her peacefully in Your mercy, and if a decision must be made to help her go, provide a kind and gentle way at home where she feels safe and loved. Above all, let Your peace guard this home, and let Your will be done with love.
