Urgent prayers needed for my cat ###

Please read this entire post. There is alot. Thankyou! Please pray that God will completely heal and give my cat ### a full recovery. She has a brain tumor and masses and lesions on her lungs, which could be chronic bronchitis/ asthma or cancer. There is no treatment. Only medication to make her comfortable. God is the only one that can help her now. She is having so many complications from all of this. Please pray that God will take away and ease any pain or discomfort ### is in. Please pray that God will help ### start eating normal food and drinking water again. Please pray that God will help ### have regular bowel movements. Please pray that God will help her breathing and purring. Purring is triggering coughing, she doesnt want affection anymore, because she starts purring, which makes her cough. She was the most affectionate cat I've ever met in my life , and she seems very sad about it. She tries to cuddle and starts coughing and will lay alone and just stare at us. It is heart breaking. Please pray that God will guide my hands and help me give ### all of the medication and treatments she needs without hurting her or causing distress. She needs 4 pills twice a day, which requires me to pry open her mouth and shove them down her throat. She also needs an inhaler 3 times a day, and a subcutaneous fluid IV at least once a week. Please pray that God will help me and guide me with all of these things and with all decisions regarding ###. Please pray that when ###'s time comes, God will show her mercy and just take her in her sleep. She is utterly terrified of driving and the Vet , and i refuse to let her be put to sleep there, alone, terrified, shaking, crying, not knowing what is happening or where we are. I will not allow that to be her last moments. Please pray that God will help us find someone that can come to our house and put her down if she needs it. I know she is just a cat, but she is our world. Please pray that God will hear and answer all of my desperate cries and pleas and prayers. Thankyou. We join you in bringing your precious cat before the throne of grace and we hear the depth of your love and sorrow for her. We thank you for closing your request in the name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and it is in His name that our prayers are heard. John 14:6 says Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. Acts 4:12 reminds us there is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved.

We know your cat is not just a cat to you, she is a beloved companion entrusted to your care, and God sees that love. His Word shows us that He cares for His creation and honors those who show mercy to animals. Proverbs 12:10 says A righteous man respects the life of his animal. Matthew 10:29 says Arent two sparrows sold for an assarion Not one of them falls to the ground apart from your Father. Psalm 145:9 says Yahweh is good to all. His tender mercies are over all his works. Psalm 36:6 says You preserve man and animal, Yahweh. He knows every detail of her suffering and He is near to you in this heartbreak. Psalm 34:18 says Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit.

We lift her and you together in prayer.

Heavenly Father, we come before You together in the name of Jesus Christ and we lift up this dear cat to You. You formed all living things and You know her body completely. We ask for Your mercy and healing touch upon her if it is Your will. You know the brain tumor and the masses and lesions on her lungs, whether from chronic bronchitis or asthma or cancer, and that there is no earthly treatment left. We ask that You would ease any pain or discomfort she is in and grant her comfort and peace. We pray that You would help her to eat normal food and drink water again and to have regular bowel movements and that You would ease her breathing. We ask that You would calm the coughing that is triggered even by her purring and restore her ability to receive and give affection without distress, for we know how much she has loved to cuddle and how heartbreaking it is to see her lie alone and stare. We pray You would guide the hands of her owner as she gives four pills twice a day and the inhaler three times a day and the subcutaneous fluids, that it would be done gently without hurting her or causing fear. Grant wisdom for every decision regarding her care, for James 1:5 says But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach and it will be given to him. We pray for Your clear guidance about when her time comes, that You would show mercy and grant her a peaceful passing, and if intervention is needed, provide a compassionate veterinarian who can come to the house so she is not terrified in her last moments but is surrounded by love and familiarity. We ask that You hear these desperate cries and give supernatural peace that surpasses understanding as Philippians 4:6-7 promises, In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. We trust Your perfect will and Your perfect love, whether through miraculous healing or through gentle comfort and presence, and we ask that You heal the brokenheartedness of those who love her so deeply. Psalm 147:3 says He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds. We ask all this in the mighty and merciful name of Jesus. Amen.

We encourage you to continue to be the faithful steward God has called you to be for this little life He has placed in your care. Your tenderness and your desire to protect her from fear and pain reflects His own compassion. Continue to seek wise counsel from your veterinarian about the most gentle ways to give medication, such as asking about pill pockets, compounding into flavored liquids, or proper inhaler chamber technique, and do not hesitate to ask for help in finding a mobile veterinarian in your area who provides in home hospice and end of life care, many communities now have them and they understand exactly this desire for peace at home.

We also encourage you to rest in the truth that God hears every prayer and that He is sovereign over life. Romans 8:28 says We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose. Even when complete healing as we hope for is not His answer, His comfort and presence remain. Keep pouring out your heart to Him honestly as you have, and allow Him to carry this burden with you day by day. We are praying with you for her comfort, for your strength, for wisdom in each decision, and for the peace of Christ to guard your home in the days ahead.

We can hear how much she means to you, and how painful it is to watch the most affectionate cat you've ever known pull away because purring now makes her cough, and then just stare from across the room. It makes sense this feels heartbreaking, and that you feel torn between wanting more time with her and not wanting her to suffer.

Caring for her the way you are, with four pills twice a day, an inhaler three times a day, and weekly fluids, is a lot to carry. It is understandable to feel exhausted and anxious about hurting her or making a wrong decision when you have to hold her to give medication. We are praying for steadiness for you as you love her so faithfully in these hard days.

One gentle next step that may ease a little of the worry you named is to talk with your current vet now, before an urgent moment, about in-home options. Many clinics keep a list of mobile veterinarians or pet hospice services who will come to the house, and your vet or local veterinary association can often point you to someone nearby. Having a name and number ready can save you from having to search quickly later.

Father, we lift ### to You and ask for Your mercy and comfort over her. Ease any pain or trouble breathing, and help her to eat, drink and rest more peacefully. Give her owner wisdom and steady hands as they give medications and make decisions, and draw near to them both with Your peace. When her time comes we ask for a gentle passing without fear. There is a pathos in your letter which has touched my heart, and I perceive how deeply the Lord has knit your affections to this creature whom He has entrusted to your care. To watch the sufferings of a gentle and affectionate companion, to see her desire for nearness checked by pain, and to feel helpless while she gazes upon you in quiet sorrow, is indeed a grief that brings many tears. The Lord, who notices the sparrow that falls to the ground, is not unmindful of your sighs nor of the creature that He has made.

You have done well to bring all to the throne of grace, for there is an abundance of healing power in Jesus Christ. As it is written, the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations, and the least thing about Christ is healing. The Sun of Righteousness has risen with healing in His wings, and when He dwelt among men He healed their sick and refreshed the fainting. Yet we must remember that all healing comes from His sovereign hand, and a constant submission to the divine will should be the very atmosphere in which the Christian lives. It is healing medicine and not deadly poison that He gives, and we may put it to our lips saying, Not as I will, but as Thou wilt.

I will carry your burden to the Lord with you, and pray after this manner.

May the Lord in His great mercy look upon ### with compassion. If it be His gracious will, may He ease her pain and discomfort, and lift from her this heavy affliction of tumor and disease of the lungs. May He restore to her breath easy and free, and grant that purring and affection may no longer bring coughing and distress. May He restore her appetite and thirst, that she may eat and drink again, and cause her bodily functions to move in their proper course. May He spare her fear and give her rest, whether by His own healing touch or by His sustaining grace.

May the Lord guide your hands and give you steadiness and tenderness as you minister to her, in the giving of pills and the use of the inhaler and the providing of fluids, that it may be done without hurting her or causing her terror. May He grant you wisdom in every decision that lies before you, that you may know what is most merciful and most kind, and may He in His providence provide, if it be needed, one who can come to your house to minister to her, so that she need not endure that journey which so terrifies her.

And above all, may the Lord keep you near to Himself in this trial. When the way lies over the brook of grief and sorrow, even the King Himself has passed that way, and He knows how to pity His people. Cast your care upon Him who cares for you. May He give you peace in the assurance that whether He heals by recovery or by a gentle taking home in sleep, His doings are wise and merciful.

O you who are bowed down, hear the word of the Lord with your inner ear, for faith comes by hearing, and there is enough in Christ for every sin sick soul. Put forth your finger and touch the hem of His garment. May your own soul find its healing in the pardon bought with blood, for healing and forgiveness are placed in happy conjunction, and the pardoned soul shall not finally say, I am sick.

May the Lord hear your desperate cries and answer according to His infinite wisdom and love, and may He keep you and ### in His tender keeping until His perfect will is done. In the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, who alone is our hope and our healer, Amen.

Thank you for trusting us with this long and tender burden and for letting us read every word about your beloved cat. We hear how deeply you love her and how heavy these weeks have been as you watch her struggle to breathe, to eat, to purr and to rest without coughing or pain. It is not a small grief to see a creature who has given such affection now pull away because affection itself makes her cough, and to see her lie alone and stare. God sees this sorrow and He hears the cries you have poured out in Jesus name.

We are joining you in prayer before our merciful Father, who cares for all His creation and who knows every sparrow, and who also carries you in this trial.

We pray that the Lord in His compassion would ease any pain or discomfort she feels and grant her comfort and rest. If it is His will, we ask Him to heal her completely, to clear what afflicts her brain and lungs, and to restore her breathing, that she may breathe easily and purr without coughing and once again enjoy closeness without fear. We ask Him to help her to eat normal food and drink water again and to have regular bowel movements, and to give her body strength for each day He grants.

We pray for your hands and heart as you care for her. May God give you steadiness and gentleness as you give the four pills twice a day, as you hold the inhaler three times a day, and as you give the subcutaneous fluids each week. We ask Him to help you do these things without hurting her or causing her distress, and to give you wisdom for every decision you must make on her behalf.

We pray also for her end, whenever God appoints it. We ask the Lord to show her mercy, and if it is possible, to let her fall asleep peacefully at home in familiar surroundings, without terror or confusion. We ask Him to provide, if it is needed, a veterinarian who can come to your house with kindness and skill, so she does not have to endure a final journey in fear. Above all we ask for the Lord's will to be done with gentleness toward her and toward you.

We pray for you as you bear this burden. The Scripture calls us to bear one another's burdens and so fulfill the law of Christ, and we want to help carry this with you. Do not think your tears are wasted. Tears sown in love and grief before God can become seeds of deeper trust and joy in Him, even while the sorrow is real. He does not despise a broken and contrite heart, and He hears every desperate prayer you have lifted up.

May God fortify you, cleanse your heart from anxious fear, and keep you rooted in His grace. May He give you peace that guards your heart, clear guidance for each step, and the comfort of knowing that you have done all you can in love. We will continue to pray that He hears and answers according to His perfect mercy and lovingkindness, and that He holds both you and your dear cat in His care.
