Urgent prayers needed for my cat ###

Please read this entire post. There is alot. Thankyou! Please pray that God will completely heal and give my cat ### a full recovery. She has a brain tumor and masses and lesions on her lungs, which could be chronic bronchitis/ asthma or cancer. There is no treatment. Only medication to make her comfortable. God is the only one that can help her now. She is having so many complications from all of this. Please pray that God will take away and ease any pain or discomfort ### is in. Please pray that God will help ### start eating normal food and drinking water again. Please pray that God will help ### have regular bowel movements. Please pray that God will help her breathing and purring. Purring is triggering coughing, she doesnt want affection anymore, because she starts purring, which makes her cough. She was the most affectionate cat I've ever met in my life , and she seems very sad about it. She tries to cuddle and starts coughing and will lay alone and just stare at us. It is heart breaking. Please pray that God will guide my hands and help me give ### all of the medication and treatments she needs without hurting her or causing distress. She needs 4 pills twice a day, which requires me to pry open her mouth and shove them down her throat. She also needs an inhaler 3 times a day, and a subcutaneous fluid IV at least once a week. Please pray that God will help me and guide me with all of these things and with all decisions regarding ###. Please pray that when ###'s time comes, God will show her mercy and just take her in her sleep. She is utterly terrified of driving and the Vet , and i refuse to let her be put to sleep there, alone, terrified, shaking, crying, not knowing what is happening or where we are. I will not allow that to be her last moments. Please pray that God will help us find someone that can come to our house and put her down if she needs it. I know she is just a cat, but she is our world. Please pray that God will hear and answer all of my desperate cries and pleas and prayers. Thankyou. We have read your entire post and our hearts are joined with yours in love and compassion for your beloved cat and for you as you walk through this painful and exhausting season. We do not see her as just a cat, for we know God cares deeply for every creature He has made and He sees the faithful love and stewardship you have shown her.

The scripture reminds us that a righteous man respects the life of his animal Proverbs 12:10 and that He provides food for the livestock, and for the young ravens when they call Psalm 147:9. Jesus taught us that not one sparrow falls to the ground apart from our Father's will Matthew 10:29, how much more does He see this dear companion who has given you so much affection and comfort. We also hear your broken heart in this, and we cling to the promise that Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit Psalm 34:18.

We are thankful that you have brought all of this before the Lord in the name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and it is in His name that we can boldly bring every burden. We lift up every detail you shared together before the throne of grace.

Father in heaven, we come before You together in the name of Jesus Christ and we lift up this precious cat to You. You formed her and You know every detail of her body. We ask for Your mercy and Your healing touch upon her. If it is Your will, we pray You would completely heal the tumor in her brain and the masses and lesions on her lungs, and restore her body fully. We ask You to ease and take away any pain or discomfort she is feeling and to grant her comfort and peace. We pray You would help her to eat normal food again and to drink water, to have regular and healthy bowel movements, and to breathe easily without coughing. Lord, we especially lift up her purring and her desire for affection, that You would calm the coughing that is triggered when she purrs and allow her to cuddle and receive love again without distress or sadness. We ask You to guide the hands of her caregiver with gentleness and wisdom as she is given four pills twice a day, an inhaler three times a day, and subcutaneous fluids each week, that it would be done without hurting her or causing fear. Grant wisdom for every decision regarding her care, for You have promised that if any of us lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach and it will be given to him James 1:5. We pray for Your perfect mercy when her time comes, that You would spare her terror and suffering, and if it is Your will, take her peacefully in her sleep in the comfort of her home surrounded by love. We ask You to provide a compassionate veterinarian who can come to the house if that need arises, so she does not have to endure fear and shaking on a final car ride. Lord, hear the desperate cries and pleas that have been poured out day and night, and let Your will be done with perfect love and compassion for both this beloved cat and her family who loves her so deeply. In the name of Jesus we pray, Amen.

We encourage you to continue to trust the Lord with each day and each decision. He sees the sleepless nights, the careful giving of medication, and the heartbreak of watching her stare and withdraw when she wants to cuddle. Your tender care is honoring to Him. It is wise and loving that you are considering a mobile veterinarian who can provide in home hospice or euthanasia care if that time comes, many areas now have veterinarians who specialize in coming to the home to keep the animal calm and surrounded by family, and we pray God will lead you to the right person if and when you need them. Keep speaking gently to her, keeping her comfortable, and resting in the knowledge that God holds her life and your hearts in His hands. Even as all creation groans, we wait with hope in His mercy Romans 8:22, and we know He will give you strength for each moment. We are praying with you for a miracle of healing, and also for peace and grace whatever His answer may be, trusting that His love never fails.

We read your whole note about ### and we can hear how much you love her and how heavy these weeks have been. Watching her struggle to breathe, to eat, to purr without coughing, and seeing her pull away when she has always been so affectionate, is heartbreaking. Of course she is your world, she is family, and it makes sense that you are carrying both deep love and anticipatory grief right now.

Caring for her the way you are, with four pills twice a day, inhaler treatments, and fluids, is a lot to carry, especially when you worry about causing her distress. We are praying for steadiness for your hands and for peace for her as you care for her. It may help to let your veterinary team know exactly how the pilling and inhaler are going and how much she fears the car and clinic, they often know gentle handling approaches and can connect you with a mobile veterinarian or hospice service who can come to your home when the time comes, so you do not have to search alone. Keeping them updated on her eating, drinking, breathing and bowel changes also helps them guide you for comfort.

Father, we bring ### before You and ask for Your mercy over her. Ease any pain or fear she feels, help her breathe more easily and find comfort and rest. Give wisdom and calm to her owner in each decision and each treatment, and provide a kind, trustworthy person who can come to their home if that need arises. Hold them both in Your peace and let them feel Your nearness each day. In Jesus' name, amen.

We have read your entire burden with much tenderness of heart, and we join you in bringing it before the Lord who hears the cries of His people.

The Lord knows how deeply this little creature is woven into your life, and He sees your tears and your watchful care day and night. Though our deepest comfort is found in Christ alone, we know that the same God who clothes the lilies and notes the sparrow that falls has a tender mercy that extends to all His works. It was a proof of great tenderness on His part to think of His creatures at all, and His mercy is displayed in great provisions for our comfort even in affliction.

We pray with you now to our gracious Father through Jesus Christ our Lord.

We ask that if it be His sovereign and merciful will, He would lay His healing hand upon your dear cat and grant a full recovery. We ask that He would ease every pain and discomfort, and in His compassion grant relief to her body. We pray that He would help her to eat and to drink again, that her bowels would move regularly, and that her breathing would be eased. We ask that He would so touch her lungs and throat that she might purr and receive affection without coughing, and that the sadness you see in her would be lifted by restored comfort.

We pray also for you, that the Lord would guide your hands and give you wisdom and steadiness as you give the pills, the inhaler, and the fluids. May He help you to do what is needed without causing her distress or harm, and may He give you calmness and constancy in every good work you do for her. When God purposes mercy He often brings low by affliction, yet He provides the Interpreter, the great Messenger of the Covenant, who sheds abroad a sweet sense of mercy in the heart. May you feel that presence very near.

And we pray concerning the time that remains, whether it be short or long, that the Lord would grant you clear guidance in every decision. We ask that when her time comes, the Lord in His tender mercy would spare her fear and take her gently, even as she sleeps in the place she knows and loves. We pray that the Lord would in His providence provide a compassionate person who can come to your home if that need arises, so that she need not be alone and terrified in a strange place, but may be surrounded by love to the last.

Take comfort, dear soul, in this word, Comfort ye, comfort ye my people, saith your God. The leaves of the tree of life are for the healing of the nations, and the least thing about Christ has healing virtue. His Word quickens us and so He comforts us, and we pray that He would quicken your heart now and comfort you with a comfort you can press to your bosom and say, This is my comfort in my affliction, for Your Word has quickened me. All His mercy is gratis. He never sells, He always gives, and He delights in mercy.

We commend you and your beloved cat into the hands of our tender and sovereign God, trusting His wise and loving will to be done. May He establish your heart in comfort and constancy till you see His goodness more fully.

Bless me with knowledge, wisdom, and understanding in all You have called me to do.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind.
