Urgent prayers needed for my cat ###

Please read this entire post. There is alot. Thankyou! Please pray that God will completely heal and give my cat ### a full recovery. She has a brain tumor and masses and lesions on her lungs, which could be chronic bronchitis/ asthma or cancer. There is no treatment. Only medication to make her comfortable. God is the only one that can help her now. She is having so many complications from all of this. Please pray that God will take away and ease any pain or discomfort ### is in. Please pray that God will help ### start eating normal food and drinking water again. Please pray that God will help ### have regular bowel movements. Please pray that God will help her breathing and purring. Purring is triggering coughing, she doesnt want affection anymore, because she starts purring, which makes her cough. She was the most affectionate cat I've ever met in my life , and she seems very sad about it. She tries to cuddle and starts coughing and will lay alone and just stare at us. It is heart breaking. Please pray that God will guide my hands and help me give ### all of the medication and treatments she needs without hurting her or causing distress. She needs 4 pills twice a day, which requires me to pry open her mouth and shove them down her throat. She also needs an inhaler 3 times a day, and a subcutaneous fluid IV at least once a week. Please pray that God will help me and guide me with all of these things and with all decisions regarding ###. Please pray that when ###'s time comes, God will show her mercy and just take her in her sleep. She is utterly terrified of driving and the Vet , and i refuse to let her be put to sleep there, alone, terrified, shaking, crying, not knowing what is happening or where we are. I will not allow that to be her last moments. Please pray that God will help us find someone that can come to our house and put her down if she needs it. I know she is just a cat, but she is our world. Please pray that God will hear and answer all of my desperate cries and pleas and prayers. Thankyou. We have read your entire post and our hearts are moved with compassion for you and for your precious cat. We see the depth of your love and the faithful care you are giving her every day, and we join with you in bringing every detail before the Lord in Jesus name. We thank you for closing your request in Jesus name, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and confidence that He hears us. As it is written, In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6-7

We know the Lord cares for all His creation and He sees the value you place on this little life He entrusted to you. Jesus said, Aren't two sparrows sold for an assarion? Not one of them falls to the ground apart from your Father's will. Matthew 10:29. And we are reminded, A righteous man respects the life of his animal, but the tender mercies of the wicked are cruel. Proverbs 12:10. Your tender, sacrificial care reflects that righteous regard, and God sees every pill you give, every inhaler treatment, every fluid, every tear and every sleepless night.

We also hear your heartbreak over the changes in her. That she was the most affectionate cat you have ever known and now purring brings coughing and she pulls away and stares, is a deep sorrow. The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit. Psalm 34:18. He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds. Psalm 147:3. We know He understands your grief and her discomfort.

We lift her and you together in prayer now.

Father in heaven, we come before You together in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, Your Son, our Savior. We thank You that You are merciful, compassionate, and sovereign over all life. Lord, You know this beloved cat by name, You formed her and You have numbered her days, and not a breath she takes is hidden from You. We ask in Jesus name that if it is Your will, You would touch her body and bring complete healing. You are able to do exceedingly more than we can ask. We ask You to ease any pain or discomfort she is in, to calm the inflammation in her lungs, to help her breathe freely and without coughing, to heal the tumor and the masses according to Your mercy. We pray You would restore her appetite and thirst, that she would eat normal food and drink water again, and that You would regulate her bowels and give her regular and comfortable bowel movements. We pray You would give her rest and peace, that she could purr and receive affection again without triggering coughing, that she would feel safe and comforted in Your care and in the love of her family.

Lord, we ask for wisdom and steadiness for her owner. Your word says, But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him. James 1:5. Grant wisdom for every decision, for every medication and treatment. Guide her hands as she gives four pills twice a day, as she administers the inhaler three times a day, and as she gives the subcutaneous fluids. Give her gentleness and skill so that her cat is not hurt or distressed, and give the cat calmness and trust. Help them both through these difficult moments and let Your peace guard this home.

Father, we also bring before You the future that weighs so heavily. We pray for Your mercy when her time comes. You are the giver and sustainer of life, and we trust Your perfect timing. We ask that You would spare her fear and suffering, and that You would make a way for her to pass peacefully, ideally in her sleep in her own home where she feels safe and loved, rather than in terror at the clinic. If an at home veterinarian is needed, we pray You would lead this family to a compassionate and gentle person who can come to their house. Give them clear discernment to know when to continue comfort care and when to release her from suffering, and give them grace to not carry guilt, but to know they have stewarded this life well before You.

Lord, we pray that You would hear every desperate cry and plea that has been poured out day and night. Let this dear one feel Your presence, Your comfort, and Your peace that surpasses understanding in the midst of this heartbreak. Sustain them with Your love and remind them that Your compassion never fails and Your mercies are new every morning.

We ask all these things together, trusting Your perfect will and Your perfect love, in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our hope and our healer. Amen.

We hear how much you love your cat and how heavy these weeks have been. Watching her struggle to breathe, to eat, to cuddle without coughing, and seeing that sadness when she pulls away to be alone, is heartbreaking. It makes sense that this hurts so deeply. She is family, and you are carrying so much as you try to keep her comfortable.

Giving four pills twice a day, the inhaler, and the fluids is a lot to manage, especially when you worry about causing her more stress. We are praying for steadiness for you and gentleness for her as you do this hard, loving work, and for clear wisdom for every decision ahead. One thing that has helped others in this place is to ask your regular vet now, while things are calm, for names of veterinarians in your area who do compassionate in home care, so you have a plan you can trust if that time comes, and to ask if a vet tech can walk through the easiest, least stressful way to give the medications.

Father, we bring this dear cat and her owner to You. Please ease her pain and give her rest, help her breathe more easily and find comfort, and give her owner wisdom, steady hands, and peace as they care for her. Guide the veterinarians involved and lead to kind help nearby when it is needed. We trust her in Your merciful hands. In Jesus name, amen.

Bless me to know You, the way You want me to know You. So that I will trust You with my life and anyway that You move in my life. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, lean not to my own understanding, acknowledge You in all my ways, and allow You to direct my footsteps and actions. Bless me with knowledge, wisdom, and understanding in all You have called me to do.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God-conscious-solution-focused-heart-mind-spirit-and-attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality.
