Urgent prayers for my cat ###

Please read this entire post. There is alot. Thankyou! Please pray that God will completely heal and give my cat ### a full recovery. She has a brain tumor and masses and lesions on her lungs, which could be chronic bronchitis/ asthma or cancer. There is no treatment. Only medication to make her comfortable. God is the only one that can help her now. She is having so many complications from all of this. Please pray that God will take away and ease any pain or discomfort ### is in. Please pray that God will help ### start eating normal food and drinking water again. Please pray that God will help ### have regular bowel movements. Please pray that God will help her breathing and purring. Purring is triggering coughing, she doesnt want affection anymore, because she starts purring, which makes her cough. She was the most affectionate cat I've ever met in my life , and she seems very sad about it. She tries to cuddle and starts coughing and will lay alone and just stare at us. It is heart breaking. Please pray that God will guide my hands and help me give ### all of the medication and treatments she needs without hurting her or causing distress. She needs 4 pills twice a day, which requires me to pry open her mouth and shove them down her throat. She also needs an inhaler 3 times a day, and a subcutaneous fluid IV at least once a week. Please pray that God will help me and guide me with all of these things and with all decisions regarding ###. Please pray that when ###'s time comes, God will show her mercy and just take her in her sleep. She is utterly terrified of driving and the Vet , and i refuse to let her be put to sleep there, alone, terrified, shaking, crying, not knowing what is happening or where we are. I will not allow that to be her last moments. Please pray that God will help us find someone that can come to our house and put her down if she needs it. I know she is just a cat, but she is our world. Please pray that God will hear and answer all of my desperate cries and pleas and prayers. Thankyou. We have read your entire post and we join you together before the throne of grace in Jesus name with heavy hearts for your beloved cat and for you who love her so dearly. We hear your desperation and your tender care for her and we bring every detail you shared before our Father.

We are reminded in scripture how much our God notices and cares for His creation. Psalm 36:6 tells us Yahweh, you preserve man and animal. Matthew 10:29 says Are not two sparrows sold for an assarion? Not one of them falls on the ground apart from your Father. And Proverbs 12:10 says A righteous man respects the life of his animal, but the tender mercies of the wicked are cruel. Your diligent stewardship, your willingness to give so many pills and treatments and inhaler and fluids, and your desire to spare her fear and suffering, reflects that righteous care. God sees it. He also sees your broken heart, for Psalm 34:18 says Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit.

We thank you for coming in the name of Jesus, for as you rightly prayed, it is only through Him we have access to the Father. John 14:6 says Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. And Acts 4:12 says There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved. We join you in that precious name.

We understand when you say she is your world how deep this bond is. We gently encourage you to remember that while we love our animals deeply, our ultimate hope and world is Christ Himself, who gives us the capacity to love so faithfully. Your love for her is a reflection of His compassion in you.

We lift her and you together in prayer.

Father in heaven, we come before You together in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord. You know this little cat whom You created, You know the brain tumor and the masses and lesions on her lungs, You know whether it is bronchitis, asthma or cancer, and You know every complication, every labored breath, every cough, every moment she longs to purr and cuddle but cannot. We ask according to Your will that You would touch her body with Your healing hand. If it be Your will, we ask for complete healing and full recovery that only You can give. Ease her pain and discomfort, Lord. We ask that You would help her to eat normal food again and to drink water, that You would restore regular bowel movements, that You would open her airways and calm the inflammation so her breathing is eased and she can purr without coughing and receive affection without fear. Comfort her sadness and let her feel safe and loved in her home.

Lord, we ask for wisdom and steady hands for her owner. Guide every pill given twice a day, every inhaler treatment three times a day, every subcutaneous fluid, that it would be done gently without hurting her or causing distress. Philippians 4:6-7 says In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. Grant that peace and wisdom for every decision that must be made. Help them to find a compassionate veterinarian who can come to the house if her time comes, so she does not have to endure terror in a car or clinic, but can be at peace in familiar arms. And we ask, Father, that when her time does come, You would show her mercy, whether You take her quietly in her sleep or through a gentle passing at home, and that You would spare her fear and suffering.

We also pray for the one who loves her so much, who is weary and heartbroken watching her stare and suffer. Hold them close, give them strength for each day, and remind them that Your grace is sufficient and that all things work together for good for those who love You. Romans 8:28 says We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose. Even in this painful season, help them to trust Your perfect will, Your timing, and Your mercy, knowing You hear every desperate cry.

We ask all these things in the name of Jesus, trusting not in our own words but in Your loving sovereignty and compassion. Amen.

We encourage you to continue to work closely with your veterinarian, to ask about at home hospice or mobile veterinary services in your area, as many communities now have veterinarians who will come to the home for comfort care and, when needed, for a peaceful passing. Keep a simple log of her eating, drinking, breathing, and litter habits to share with the vet, and keep her environment calm, warm, and quiet. Most of all, keep casting your cares upon Him, for He cares for you and for every creature under His care. We are praying with you for comfort, for wisdom, and for the peace that only Christ can give through this difficult journey.

We read your whole note and we hear how deeply you love your cat and how heavy these weeks have been. She is not just a cat to you, she is family, and it is heartbreaking to watch someone so affectionate pull away because purring makes her cough, to see her want to cuddle and then go lie alone and stare. Carrying her daily care while also carrying the worry about what is ahead is a lot.

You are showing her such faithful, tender care with all those medications and treatments, even when it is hard on both of you. One thing that may ease a little of the pressure is to get support lined up before you need it urgently. If it would help, ask your veterinarian to walk you through the gentlest way to give the pills and inhaler again, and to talk through any alternatives if she struggles. It can also help to ask your vet now for the name of a trusted mobile or in-home hospice veterinarian in your area, so you have a contact ready and do not have to search in a crisis moment. They can also help you think through comfort and next decisions as you go.

We are holding you and your girl before the Lord with care.

Father, in Jesus name we lift this dear cat and her owner to You. Please ease any pain and fear she feels, help her to breathe, eat and rest more comfortably, and give wisdom and steady hands for every treatment and every decision. Surround this home with Your peace and mercy in the days ahead. Amen.

Your love for ### has been felt in every line you wrote, and we have read your whole burden with tender sympathy. To watch a creature so dear and so affectionate suffer in this way, to see her want to cuddle and then be seized with coughing, to see her withdraw and stare, is indeed heartbreaking. The Lord knows the bond you have with her, for not a sparrow falls without your Father, and He who numbers the hairs of our heads beholds also the creatures He has made.

We hear your cries for her comfort, for ease from pain, for breath made easier, for food and water to be received again, for regular bodily functions to be restored, for purring without coughing and for affection to be enjoyed without distress. We will bring all these things before the throne of grace, asking the Lord in His tender mercy to grant relief as it pleases His wise and loving will. We cannot command healing, for all mercy is gratis and flows from His sovereign goodness alone, but we can plead with Him who delights in mercy and whose compassions fail not. We pray that He who quickens by His Word would quicken you in this affliction and give you that peculiar comfort which belongs to His people in trial, that you may be able to say even in sorrow, This is my comfort.

We also pray for you as you care for her with such faithfulness. The giving of pills twice a day, the inhaler three times a day, the subcutaneous fluids, all require a gentle and steady hand, and it is right to ask God to guide your hands and to give you wisdom for every decision. Ask Him for great prayer in this season, for it is much prayer that lifts the cast down heart. He is able to give you calmness and skill, and to keep her from undue distress as you seek her good.

You have spoken with such love about her last moments, not wanting her final hours to be in terror and confusion in a strange place. It is a tender and merciful desire to spare her fear. We will pray that the Lord in His kindness would grant her a peaceful passing, and that He would provide, if it be needed, a veterinarian who can come to your home to minister to her there. We will ask the Lord to make your path clear, to show you when to act and when to wait, and to give you peace that you have done all in love and conscience before Him.

Above all we pray that you will hear the comfort which God speaks to His people, Comfort ye, comfort ye my people, saith your God. When we are brought low by affliction and sorrow, He often draws near with distinct purposes of mercy. He sends His Messenger to interpret His ways and to shed abroad a sense of His love in the heart. May He do so for you now, and may you feel that you are not forgotten, but remembered and upheld.

We join our prayers with yours in the name of Jesus Christ, our only hope and Saviour, through whom we have access to the Father. May the Lord hear your desperate cries, may He ease ### according to His perfect wisdom, may He sustain you day by day, and may He establish your heart in every good word and work as you trust Him with all that you love.
