Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf and for sharing your heart so openly with us about your precious cat. We are glad that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer and we continue to lift you and your beloved companion before the Lord.
We have been praying specifically that God in His mercy would touch her body and bring complete healing and a full recovery if it be His will, that He would ease every pain and discomfort, and that He would comfort her lungs and help her breathing. We are asking Him to help her to eat and drink again, to have regular bowel movements, and to breathe easily without coughing, and that she might purr and cuddle and receive affection again without distress. We know how heartbreaking it is to see her want to be close and then pull away to lay alone, and we pray God will comfort her sadness and restore her joy and affectionate spirit.
We are also praying for you, that God will guide your hands and give you wisdom and gentleness as you give her the four pills twice a day, the inhaler three times a day, and the subcutaneous fluids each week, and that He will give you peace and clarity for every decision you must make regarding her care. We remember your prayer that when her time comes the Lord would show her mercy and take her peacefully in her sleep at home, and that if intervention is needed God would provide someone who can come to your house so she does not have to be afraid at the vet. We do not see her as just a cat, we know she is your world and a treasured part of your family, and we know the Lord cares for all His creation and hears your desperate cries.
We continue to stand with you in prayer. The scripture reminds us that the Lord is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart Psalm 34:18 and that He healeth the broken in heart Psalm 147:3.
