Beloved of All
Thank you for sharing so honestly about the burden you are carrying for yourself and for your mother. God sees you both, He knows the fear you feel when the refrigerator is bare and the bills are greater than the resources you have, and He cares deeply about your daily needs.
Scripture shows us that God is a practical provider. When He told Noah to prepare for the flood, He instructed him to gather and store food for his family and for the animals, enough to sustain them for more than a year. After the flood God affirmed that He has given food for mankind, first the plants and grains, and then also meat, all as His provision. He is the One who gives seed to the sower and bread for food, and who is able to multiply what is sown and increase its fruit. Jesus taught us to pray for daily bread because our Father knows we need food and clothing, and He has promised to supply what we need as we seek Him first and trust Him.
The Bible also shows that God often provides through His people. In the early church, believers who had more gave generously to help other believers who were in financial distress and did not have money to buy food. Their giving became a reason for thanksgiving to God. And in a time of severe famine, when people thought there was no hope and food was priced beyond reach, God had already made provision very near at hand and it was discovered by desperate men who took a step forward in faith. God is still able to work in unexpected ways, sometimes through very ordinary help that is closer than we realize.

Father in heaven, in the name of Jesus Christ, I bring this dear child and her mother before You. You know their empty cupboards, their bills, and the small amount they are waiting for in the coming days. You know the love and weariness that comes with caring for an aging parent. Please provide for their daily needs, give them food for today and wisdom for the days ahead, and calm their fear with Your peace. Open doors for practical help through those around them, and help them to find trustworthy support in their local community of believers and neighbors who can assist with food and counsel. Provide for their financial needs according to Your riches and Your will, and help them to trust You one day at a time. Draw them close to Jesus, in whom alone we have salvation and hope, and remind them that You are near and will not forsake them. Amen.

Many congregations and food pantries exist for just this kind of need, and asking for that help is a right and humble step. Keep bringing every need to God in prayer, be faithful with what little you have, and keep honest records of what you need and what comes in so you can make the wisest decisions you can with what God provides.
