Thank you for sharing your heart and laying this burden at the feet of Jesus and at the cross. That is the right place to bring it, and we are joining you in prayer for God's help and provision in your legal matter and in your daily needs.
God sees and cares about the practical needs you have mentioned, for rent, for bills, and for food to eat. Scripture shows that He is a provider who thinks ahead for His people. When He instructed Noah, He told him to gather and store food for himself and for every living creature in the ark, and Noah did all that God commanded him. For more than a year God sustained them all. In the same way, after the flood God affirmed that He gives food for our sustenance. He knows what it is to need daily bread, and His word even commands that workers be paid promptly because a family may depend on that day's wage for that night's meal. He hears the cry of those who are pressed down and in need, and He does not ignore it.
Your legal matter is also before Him. Human law and contracts are built on the idea of telling the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth, yet people are not always honest. God is not like that. He is the true Judge who loves truth and righteousness and who sees all that is hidden. You can trust your case to Him, asking Him to bring what is right and true to light and to give wisdom and favor where it is needed.
Faith in God is a choice we make, and He has given us sufficient reason to trust Him. Part of trusting Him is both praying and doing what we can with diligence. Scripture points to the ant which stores its food in summer because it knows leaner days will come, and it praises the person who watches diligently over what God has entrusted to them. It also gives us the prayer to ask for neither poverty nor riches, but for food that is sufficient for today, so that whether we have little or much our hearts remain dependent on the Lord. That is a good prayer for this season, to ask for daily provision and for contentment while you wait.

Father, in the name of Jesus Christ we lift up this need to You. You know the details of this legal matter and the weight of waiting for funding. You know the need for rent, for bills to be paid, and for food on the table. We ask for Your divine intervention, for Your provision according to Your riches, and for Your peace to guard this heart while waiting. Give wisdom in every legal step, guide those in authority to act justly, and open the right doors for provision in Your perfect way and timing. Help our brother or sister to keep trusting in Jesus Christ alone for salvation and for every need, to walk in obedience and diligence as You lead, and to experience Your faithful care day by day. Amen.
