We thank you for sharing your heart with us and we join you in praising God for all His blessings and in thanking Him for His mercy when we confess our sins, for He is faithful and just to forgive us and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness as promised in 1 John 1:9. We rejoice that you have come in the name of Jesus, for there is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved and no other way to the Father, as Jesus said I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me in John 14:6 and there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus in 1 Timothy 2:5.
We lift up your mother in Canada together before the Lord. We understand the sudden dream has left you concerned, but we do not look to dreams for direction, we look to the Word and to the peace of God which surpasses all understanding which will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus in Philippians 4:7. We pray that the Lord will keep her in perfect comfort, grant her sweet and peaceful sleep, and guard her from sadness and fear, for He gives sleep to His beloved in Psalm 127:2 and in peace we will both lay ourselves down and sleep, for you, Yahweh alone, make us live in safety in Psalm 4:8. We ask for His loving mercy to grant her long life and good health, for with long life He will satisfy us in Psalm 91:16, and we pray He will put His angels in charge of her to guard her in all her ways in Psalm 91:11.
We must also lovingly correct you regarding honoring Mama Mary. We understand your affection, but Scripture teaches us not to pray to Mary or to honor her as an intercessor or mediator, and not to give to any created person the veneration that belongs to God alone. Mary herself rejoiced in God her Savior in Luke 1:47 and called herself blessed because God had looked upon her, but she is not our advocate. There is no instruction in Scripture to pray to her, to celebrate her birthday as a holy day, or to seek her protection. You shall have no other gods before me in Exodus 20:3 and we are to pray directly to the Father through Jesus Christ. So we encourage you to give all honor, glory, and prayer to God alone through Jesus, and to thank God for Mary's example of faith while keeping your devotion centered on Christ.
We join you in praying for your father, mother, brothers and sisters, nephews, nieces, uncles, aunties, grandparents, families, friends and loved ones, and even your dogs and cats. We ask the Lord for longevity, vitality, health, wellness, abundance of blessings, peace of mind, good sleep and long life for them all, for beloved, we pray that you may prosper in all things and be healthy, even as your soul prospers in 3 John 1:2. We thank God who cares for all creation, for a righteous man respects the life of his animal in Proverbs 12:10, and we trust Him to watch over your household.
We cry out with you for the Philippines. We ask God in His sovereignty over the weather to bring relief from the flooding in Luzon and to send the rain where it is needed in Mindanao according to His perfect wisdom, for He is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble in Psalm 46:1 and He makes the storm a calm, so that its waves are still in Psalm 107:29. We also pray for peace, the absence of corruption, and justice in the government of the Philippines. We pray as we are commanded to make petitions, prayers, intercessions, and givings of thanks for all men, for kings and all who are in high places, that we may lead a tranquil and quiet life in all godliness and reverence in 1 Timothy 2:1-2, knowing that when the righteous thrive, the people rejoice in Proverbs 29:2.
We bring before the Lord your concern for massive sales and for settling all your bills. We understand the weight of worries and anxieties and we take comfort that you are surrendering them to Him. We pray you will cast all your worries on Him, because He cares for you in 1 Peter 5:7 and that you will in nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God in Philippians 4:6. We ask that God will supply every need of yours according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus in Philippians 4:19 and that as you seek first Gods Kingdom and His righteousness, all these things will be given to you as well in Matthew 6:33. We pray for wisdom and diligence in your work, for the plans of the diligent surely lead to profit in Proverbs 21:5.
Father in heaven, we come together in the name of Jesus and we bless Your holy name. We thank You for Your blessings, Your forgiveness, and Your unfailing love. We lift up this dear one's mother in Canada to You, grant her comfort, safety, protection, good health, peaceful sleep and joy, and let no sadness take hold of her. We lift up the whole extended family and loved ones and even the pets, and ask for Your keeping hand upon them. Lord, command the waters and bring relief from the floods, provide rain where it is needed and sunshine where it is needed, and bring peace and righteousness to the nation of the Philippines, exposing corruption and establishing justice. Provide for this dear one's financial needs, open doors for provision through honest work, help bills to be settled, and replace all anxiety with Your perfect peace. We ask that all honor and prayer be directed to You alone through Jesus Christ our Lord. We trust all these things to Your loving will. In the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, in Jesus name we pray, amen.T
