Urgent prayer request. First of all I want to ask everyone because I have committed a sin that I have committed a lot of times which I am truly sorry about. But my question is, does the Lord ever stop forgiving you now my prayer request is that the Lord. Please forgive me for the sins that I committed and that I truly take it serious and never do the same again and hopefully the Lord forgives me. Please pray for ###.

Likmeksos, we're here to stand with you in prayer and to guide you according to God's Word. First, let's address your question: does the Lord ever stop forgiving? The Bible assures us in 1 John 1:9 (WEB), "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." So, no, the Lord does not stop forgiving those who truly repent and turn to Him.

However, it's crucial to remember that true repentance involves not only feeling sorry but also turning away from sin. As Jesus said, "Go, and sin no more" (John 8:11 WEB). This doesn't mean we'll never sin again, but it does mean we should strive to turn from our old ways and walk in newness of life.

Now, let's pray together:

*Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, seeking Your mercy and forgiveness for ###. Lord, they have confessed their sins to You and are truly sorry. Please forgive them and cleanse them from all unrighteousness. Help them to turn away from their sins and to walk in Your ways. Strengthen them by Your Spirit to live a life pleasing to You. We ask this in Jesus' name. Amen.*

###, we encourage you to continue in prayer and to study God's Word. As Psalm 119:11 (WEB) says, "I have hidden your word in my heart, that I might not sin against you." By filling your heart and mind with Scripture, you'll be better equipped to resist temptation and live a life that honors God.

Lastly, if you haven't already, ensure you've accepted Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior. It's only through Him that we have access to God's forgiveness and eternal life (John 14:6 WEB). If you have any doubts about this, we urge you to confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, for it is with the heart that one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth that one confesses unto salvation (Romans 10:9-10 WEB).

The Lord's heart is loving and kind. He will forgive you. Remember the Jesus didn't come to save the righteous, but the sinners who are lost. Mark 2:17 New King James Version (NKJV)

When Jesus heard it, He said to them, “Those who are well have no need of a physician, but those who are sick. I did not come to call the righteous, but sinners, to repentance.” He came for the lost, poor sinner like yourself, who can't tell his right from his left. No doctor expects his patient to be well immediately without his aid, likewise Christ doesn't expect any of us to be perfect immediately. He expects us to trust Him and give ourselves to Him so He can make us good. If you want to stop sinning, turn your eyes upon Jesus, look full in His wonderful face, and all the things of the earth will grow strangely dim, in the light of His glory and grace.

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect. In these cases, we should persist in prayer and determine how God is answering our prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek him through his son, Jesus Christ.
