Urgent Prayer Request for My Son ### and Our Family. Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ, Greetings in the precious name of our Lord Jesus Christ, I humbly request your prayers for my son, who is currently studying in ###. We are deeply concerned about his health, as he is suffering from serious back bone problems and has also developed lumps in different parts of his body. At this difficult time, we are seeking God's healing, protection, wisdom, and guidance.

We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up your son and your entire family in earnest prayer. Father God, we know that You are the Great Physician, the One who heals all our diseases and binds up our wounds (Psalm 103:2-3). We ask for Your mighty hand of healing to rest upon this young man, touching his back and every part of his body where these lumps have appeared. Lord, we declare Your promise in Jeremiah 30:17: "For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds," says Yahweh.

We also pray for wisdom and discernment for the medical professionals treating him. Guide their hands, their minds, and their decisions, Lord, so that they may be instruments of Your healing power. Give them insight to diagnose and treat him effectively, and grant your peace that surpasses all understanding to guard his heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).

Father, we ask that You would draw near to this family in their time of distress. Strengthen their faith and remind them that You are their refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). Surround them with Your love and the support of their church family, so they may feel Your presence and comfort in tangible ways.

We also lift up any fears or anxieties they may be facing. Remind them that You have not given them a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). Help them to cast all their cares upon You, for You care for them (1 Peter 5:7).

Lord, we rebuke any spirit of infirmity or sickness that may be afflicting this young man. We stand on Your Word in Luke 10:19, where You have given us authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy. In the name of Jesus, we command every sickness and disease to leave his body and declare that he is healed by the stripes of Jesus (Isaiah 53:5).

We also pray for his spiritual well-being. In the midst of physical suffering, may he draw closer to You, finding strength and hope in Your promises. May he experience Your peace that transcends all understanding and grow in his relationship with You.

Father, we trust in Your perfect will and timing. Whether You choose to heal him instantly or through the process of medical treatment, we know that You work all things together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28). We ask for Your will to be done in his life and for Your glory to be revealed through this situation.

We thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayers and for Your faithfulness. We trust in Your unfailing love and mercy, knowing that You are with us always. In the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.

We are holding you and your son in prayer as you carry this worry from a distance. Watching a child struggle with his health while he is away studying is especially hard, and it is understandable to feel anxious and helpless when you cannot be right there with him.

We join you in asking God for healing, protection and clear wisdom for each next decision. Alongside prayer, we gently encourage you to make sure he is seen promptly by qualified medical professionals for both his back and the lumps you mentioned, and to stay closely in touch with his care team. If he has a trusted pastor, mentor or friend near his university, it can help to have someone nearby who can check in and support him between appointments, and for you to keep open, regular communication with him so you both feel less alone.

Please know that the strain you feel as a family is normal when illness lingers. Try to rest when you can, lean on your church family and take one step at a time.

Father, we lift this son to You and ask for Your mercy and care over his body. Give wisdom to the doctors, peace and strength to him and his parents, and guide each step ahead. Bring comfort in Your presence and help them sense You are near. In Jesus' name we pray, amen.

We have received your urgent burden concerning your son who is studying far from home, and we have carried you and him before the throne of grace.

We join you in seeking the Lord for his healing, protection, wisdom and guidance in this difficult time of serious trouble in his backbone and lumps in different parts of his body. We very speedily care for bodily diseases, for they are painful and urge us to seek a physician, but we have a heavenly Physician whose art is perfect. Calvary is the place for the healing balm, and the work of Jesus is not only to point out disease but to apply the remedy.

Be encouraged by what the Scripture reveals of our Lord. There is an abundance of healing power in Jesus Christ and His salvation. The leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations, and the least thing about Christ is healing. His fruit is sweet and nourishing, but even His leaves, the little things as it were about Him, are full of healing virtue. And when the Lord comes and dwells with His people, the Sun of Righteousness rises upon them with healing in His wings. When Jesus healed the sick of the palsy He said, Son, be of good cheer, your sins are forgiven you, for pardon and healing were one. Healing and forgiveness are placed in happy conjunction and both are bestowed on the Lord's people.

Therefore we pray that as you seek healing for the body, you and your son would also look to Christ for the healing of the soul, for the Lord has begun to heal us and the healing virtue which His grace has infused will work health and cure till we shall be without spot or wrinkle. There is healing in the glorious doctrine of His incarnation, that He took our flesh, bone of our bone and flesh of our flesh, and thus He touches us and heals us.

Let us pray together.

O gracious Father, we bring this dear son before You, whom You know and see though he is far from his family. Lay Your hand upon his backbone and upon every part of his body where lumps have formed. You who formed his frame, have mercy and restore him according to Your perfect will. Grant skill and wisdom to those who care for him, and grant to him and to his family protection, comfort, and guidance in every decision that must be made. Above all, grant him to hear the teaching of Christ, for faith comes by hearing and hearing by the Word of God, and the healing power is present when Christ is taught. Draw him to seek first Your forgiveness through the blood of Jesus, that he may know pardon and healing from Your own hand. Sustain his parents with peace that passes understanding as they wait upon You.

We leave him in Your tender care, trusting that no cherub's flaming sword keeps us from the tree of life, but we may always come and pluck its healing leaves. May the Lord answer in His time and for His glory. Amen.

We have received your urgent request and we join with you in prayer before our Lord Jesus Christ for your son and for your whole family in this difficult time.

We understand your deep concern for his health, for the serious problems in his backbone and for the lumps that have appeared on his body. We bring these needs before the Great Physician who is able to do what no human art can do. As we have learned, when Christ touched the body He not only quenched the fever but gave perfect health at once, while even after fevers leave, patients need much time to return to health with physicians. But with Him all can take place at once. His power is not limited, and His compassion does not fail. We ask Him to lay His healing hand upon your son, to bring restoration to his bones and to remove what should not be there, according to His mercy and wisdom.

Let us pray together. Heavenly Father, in the name of Your Son Jesus Christ we lift up this beloved son to You. You know him by name, You see where he studies far from home, and You know every pain and fear in his body and heart. We ask for Your healing, Your protection, Your wisdom and Your guidance. Touch his backbone and heal what is afflicted, cause these lumps to be gone, and grant complete health if it be Your will. Give wisdom to the doctors who examine and treat him, guide every test and decision, and let nothing be hidden that needs to be seen. Guard him from fear and keep him in Your peace. Strengthen his parents and family also, comfort their hearts, and keep them firm in faith and hope. We ask this trusting that the things of the Father are the Son's, and all that we ask in the name of the Son You hear. Amen.

Continue to seek Him with diligence. Come continually to the house of healing, hear the Scriptures and keep them written upon your heart. Sing to God not only with the mouth but with heedfulness in your heart, for God hears even the prayer cried in thought when walking or in the marketplace, as He heard Moses who cried inwardly. Let psalms and spiritual songs be in your home instead of anxious thoughts, and let your family be comforted by the Word. Even when physicians have applied many remedies without yet seeing benefit, we do not despair, for God is able to bring fruit in His time, and He often uses many steps to bring about the final healing.

We stand with you in prayer and ask the Lord to grant you all to know His presence, His help, and His everlasting mercy.
