We rejoice with you to hear that your sister has improved a whole lot and we thank God for His mercy and healing hand upon her. We will continue to stand with you in prayer for her complete restoration, especially that her appetite and eating would return to normal and her strength would be fully renewed.
We know that our God cares about every detail of our physical needs and He is the one who heals and sustains us. Scripture reminds us to give thanks in all things and to bring our requests to Him. Psalm 103:2-3 says, Bless Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases. And Jeremiah 30:17 says, For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh. We also cling to the promise in Psalm 107:20, He sends his word, and heals them, and delivers them from their graves. We do not take this improvement for granted, we give God the glory for it and we trust Him to complete the good work He has begun in her.
We pray together now for her. Father in heaven, we come before Your throne of grace in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We thank You for the improvement You have already brought to this dear sister and for hearing the prayers that have been lifted up for her. We ask now for Your continued healing touch upon her body. Lord, restore her appetite, regulate her digestion, and give her desire and ability to eat normally again that she may receive the nourishment she needs and regain her full strength. Let Your healing power flow through her, comfort her, give her peace, and guard her heart and mind. We ask that You guide the hands of those caring for her and give wisdom to her family as they support her. We pray for complete healing according to Your perfect will, and we trust You as Jehovah Rapha, the Lord who heals us. In Jesus name we pray, amen.
We encourage you to keep trusting the Lord and to keep bringing her needs before Him without ceasing, for Philippians 4:6-7 tells us, In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. Continue to thank Him for what He has done and to ask Him for what remains, and continue to seek appropriate medical care as well, for God often works through those means for our good.
We also want to gently remind you of the precious truth that it is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to God and assurance of salvation. We noticed your request did not mention His name, and we want to share how important He is. John 14:6 says, Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. And Acts 4:12 says, There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved. It is by believing in Jesus, that He died for our sins and rose again, and confessing Him as Lord, that we are saved and that our prayers are heard. Romans 10:9 says, that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. If you have not already, we encourage you to put your trust fully in Jesus Christ, and to pray in His name, for there is power and hope and eternal life in Him alone.
We will continue to pray with you for your sister's full recovery and for your peace as you walk beside her in this time. May the Lord strengthen you both and draw you closer to Himself.
