We thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf and we are glad that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer over the upcoming events in your life.
We have continued to lift you up before the Lord and we have been praying specifically for each of the burdens you shared. We have prayed for your church services, that the Lord would anoint the messages so they would be not only true but also convicting and edifying, and that He would continue to give you boldness as an introvert to step out of your comfort zone to be a witness for Jesus as He leads you. We pray you will not carry shame when you feel you have missed His leading, but will rest in His grace, for we know that love covers and that perfect love casts out fear. We have prayed for you in your calling as an intercessor, that God would teach you how to pray without ceasing as taught in 1 Thess 5:17 and would show you how to bear the burdens of those who are hurting in your church without growing weary, remembering the promise of James 5:16.
We have also prayed for your home group on Wednesdays and your discussion group on Thursdays, that the conversations would be redeemed and centered on Christ, that you would have opportunity to speak even as you seek to be quick to hear and slow to speak according to James 1:19, and that the Lord would guard that fellowship time from distraction and from anything that dishonors Him. We have asked the Lord to raise up genuine fellowship for you and to strengthen the one sister you mentioned who bears the fruit of the Spirit, that you both may encourage one another.
We have prayed for the garage night and your time of responsibility watching over the younger children in that home, that the Lord would guide you and speak through you, and that He would protect those boys who have heard the gospel through you, especially the youngest who shows interest and your brother and the others who do not yet know Him. We have prayed for the mothers and their struggles with gossip and unkindness, that God would bring conviction and kindness. We have prayed for your college visit with your mum and brother, that the Lord would remove any fear of freezing up and would open every door He wants opened for you to be His witness.
We have prayed for the Halloween events, for the pumpkin patch and haunted house and the parade and arcades, that the Lord would keep you and your family and those friends safe and would make you a light in the darkness, for He has called us to be the light of the world as written in Matt 5:14. We pray that in every dark place you would walk in His leading and obey His voice.
