Unwanted spirits

Anonymous

Beloved of All
I have been bombarded by spirits visiting me, tormenting me with unwanted voices and spirits touching my backside. Please pray that God would physically restrain every spirit from touching me in Jesus’ name,

We have heard your cry and we stand with you together before the throne of grace in Jesus' name, asking for God's complete deliverance and protection over you. What you are describing is real spiritual oppression, and the Word tells us clearly that our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places Ephesians 6:12. These unwanted voices and unwanted touching are not from God, for God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control 2 Timothy 1:7, and any spirit that torments, accuses, and violates your body is to be rebuked and resisted.

We want you to know that in Christ you have authority. Jesus said, Behold, I give you authority to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy. Nothing will in any way hurt you Luke 10:19. And we are promised that greater is he who is in you than he who is in the world 1 John 4:4. You do not have to receive these visitations. We rebuke every tormenting spirit that has been coming against you, every lying voice and every spirit that has touched you in an unwanted and defiling way. Your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit 1 Corinthians 6:19 and is not to be violated by darkness.

We also encourage you to submit yourself fully to God and actively resist the enemy, for the promise is that if you submit yourselves therefore to God, resist the devil, and he will flee from you James 4:7. This means filling your mind and your home with the Word of God, with worship and prayer spoken aloud in the name of Jesus, and closing any door that may have given the enemy opportunity, whether through occult practices, ungodly media, or unforgiveness. Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil Ephesians 6:11, especially the shield of faith and the sword of the Spirit which is the Word of God. When these voices come, answer them aloud with Scripture and with the name of Jesus Christ, for at His name every knee must bow.

We pray now together for you.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty and holy name of Jesus Christ, and we lift up this dear one who is being bombarded and tormented. Lord, You see every unwanted visitation and every unwanted touch, and You are our refuge and fortress. We ask that You would physically restrain every spirit from touching this body again. We command in the name of Jesus Christ that every tormenting spirit, every lying voice, and every defiling spirit leave now and go where Jesus sends you and not return. We ask You to place Your hedge of protection around this child of Yours, that he who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty Psalm 91:1. Fill this home with Your Holy Spirit, with Your peace that surpasses all understanding, and with Your light that no darkness can overcome. Let Your Word dwell richly within, and let sleep be sweet and undisturbed. We pray that You would bring godly counsel and fellowship from a local Bible believing church to stand with this one in person, and that You would strengthen faith to stand firm until the oppression is completely broken. We thank You that You hear the cry of the righteous and deliver them out of all their troubles Psalm 34:17, and that when we call, You answer. We trust in Your power to keep and to sanctify completely. We ask all this in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Deliverer, Amen.

We encourage you to continue to call upon the name of Jesus aloud day and night, to read the Psalms and the Gospels aloud in your home, to worship, and to walk closely with other believers who can pray with you in person. Do not be afraid, for God has said, Don’t be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness Isaiah 41:10. Keep resisting, keep submitting to Christ, and trust that He who began a good work in you will be faithful to bring you into complete freedom and peace.

We hear how exhausting and distressing this has been for you, feeling bombarded and touched in ways you did not want or invite. Thank you for reaching out and asking for prayer. You are not alone in this, and we want to stand with you before the Lord.

We are asking God to surround you with His protection and peace, and to restrain every unwanted intrusion you are experiencing. When these tormenting experiences come, it helps not to carry them alone.

One steady step that often helps is to invite a trusted pastor or two mature believers who know you to pray with you in person and walk with you ongoing. Being with others who can listen, pray, and help you discern next steps brings both spiritual support and practical care, rather than facing it by yourself at night.

If the voices or touching leave you feeling overwhelmed, unsafe, or unable to rest, please also reach out soon to a trusted medical professional or counselor alongside prayer, so you have full support for your wellbeing.

Father, we lift our brother to You right now. We ask for Your nearness, Your covering, and Your peace over his mind and body. Restrain every unwanted spirit and touch, quiet what torments him, and let him know he is held and not forsaken. Give him wisdom, safe community around him, and steady rest. We ask this in the name of Jesus, amen.

Lord Jesus please richly bless, protect and guide them. Please help them in accordance with your perfect will Father. Thank you and praise you. In your holy name I pray. Amen.

Your cry for deliverance has been heard and brought before the Lord, and we join you in seeking His mercy and keeping power.

We do not take lightly the distress you describe, to be tormented by voices and by unwanted touch. Scripture teaches us that there are spiritual powers of darkness, and that our deliverance from them, as from the guilt and power of sin itself, is altogether the work of God. As it is written, He has delivered us from the power of darkness and has translated us into the kingdom of His dear Son. Deliverance is of the Lord, but He is mighty to save, and He has found a ransom. The price has been paid by His own Son upon the cross, and through that shed blood there is a sure refuge for all who flee to Christ by faith.

There is comfort here for you. The Lord Jesus Christ has triumphed over every enemy, and greater is He that is in you than he that is in the world. The believer need not trust in his own strength to restrain these assaults, for he can do nothing of himself, and knows it. He must look to his heavenly Father alone, to Him who brings forth His people with a mighty hand. Rest your soul upon Christ and His finished work. He is our ransom, our shield, and our song of deliverance, and He will not leave His own to be crushed.

We would encourage you, even as you pray for this restraint, to keep close to Christ in the means He has appointed. Abide in His Word, cry to Him in constant prayer, put on the whole armour of God, and walk in fellowship with faithful believers who can stand with you and watch for your soul. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you, not in your own power, but in the power of Christ. Seek also the personal care of a trusted pastor in your local church, that you may not bear this burden alone and that he may pray with you and counsel you from Scripture. If these afflictions greatly weigh upon your mind and body, do not hesitate to seek help from those near to you whom you trust, that you may be cared for in every way.

Let us pray with you now.

O Lord our God, who hears the cries of the afflicted, we come to You in the name of Jesus Christ, Your Son, our only hope and ransom. You have said that You have found a ransom, and that whosoever trusts in Him shall not perish. We ask in that name that You would grant deliverance to this soul who is sore beset. In Your sovereign power, restrain every evil spirit from touching or tormenting, silence every unwanted voice, and set a hedge about Your child. Cover this one with the blood of Christ, fill the mind with Your peace, and guard body and soul through Your Holy Spirit. Cause this affliction to be turned to Your praise, that the one who now cries for help may yet live and declare the works of the Lord. Keep this dear one close to Jesus, give assurance of pardon and protection in Him, and grant quietness, sleep, and strength day by day. We ask this not for any merit in us, but for the glory of Your name and for the sake of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

May the Lord whisper to your heart sweet assurances of His presence, and may you be kept in His peace. Continue to look to Christ, for He must have all the honor of our deliverance, and He is faithful to bring forth His own. We will continue to pray that you may know His keeping power and be enabled to sing of His mighty acts.
