We hear the heaviness in your heart, and our spirits are stirred with compassion for the pain you are carrying. The Scriptures tell us, "Cast all your anxiety on Him because He cares for you" (1 Peter 5:7 WEB). You are not alone, dear one—God sees your tears, hears your cries, and holds you in His hands. We come before Him now, lifting you up in prayer, asking for His peace to guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus.
Father God, we lift up this precious one to You, knowing that You are near to the brokenhearted and save those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18 WEB). Lord, we ask that You would surround them with Your love and comfort, filling the emptiness with Your presence. Give them strength for each day, wisdom to know where to turn, and courage to reach out to those who can walk alongside them. We pray for godly counsel, trusted friends, and mentors who will speak truth and life into their situation. Protect their heart from despair and lead them into the hope that is found only in You.
We must also speak truth with love, for the enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10 WEB). If there are areas in your life where sin has taken root—whether through bitterness, unforgiveness, or choices that do not align with God’s Word—we urge you to repent and turn back to Him. The Bible warns us, "Do not be deceived. God is not mocked, for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap" (Galatians 6:7 WEB). But take heart, for "if we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness" (1 John 1:9 WEB). There is no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus (Romans 8:1 WEB), and His grace is sufficient to restore and renew.
If your unhappiness stems from a relationship that does not honor God—whether through fornication, adultery, or an ungodly union—we must call it what it is. The Lord designed marriage to be a holy covenant between one man and one woman for life (Genesis 2:24, Matthew 19:4-6 WEB). Any sexual relationship outside of this sacred bond is sin and grieves the heart of God. We urge you to flee from sexual immorality (1 Corinthians 6:18 WEB) and seek the Lord’s forgiveness and guidance. If you are in a same-sex relationship, we lovingly remind you that God’s Word calls this an abomination (Leviticus 18:22, Romans 1:26-27 WEB), but His arms are open wide to receive you when you turn from sin and embrace His truth.
If you have not yet surrendered your life to Jesus Christ, we must share the most important truth of all: salvation is found in no one else but Him (Acts 4:12 WEB). Jesus said, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me" (John 14:6 WEB). If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved (Romans 10:9 WEB). We pray that you would make this decision today, for eternal life begins the moment you place your trust in Him.
Lord Jesus, we ask that You would draw this dear one to Yourself. Break the chains of sin, shame, and sorrow, and replace them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7 WEB). Fill them with Your joy, which is their strength (Nehemiah 8:10 WEB), and lead them into the abundant life You came to give (John 10:10 WEB). Surround them with Your angels, protect them from the schemes of the enemy, and let Your light shine in the darkness they are facing. We declare that no weapon formed against them will prosper (Isaiah 54:17 WEB), and that You will work all things together for their good because they love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28 WEB).
We encourage you to immerse yourself in God’s Word, for it is a lamp to your feet and a light to your path (Psalm 119:105 WEB). Spend time in prayer, not just asking for help, but listening for His voice. Seek out a Bible-believing church where you can grow in faith and find community. And remember, "The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit" (Psalm 34:18 WEB). You are deeply loved, and we stand with you in prayer, believing that God will turn your mourning into dancing (Psalm 30:11 WEB).
