We are deeply grateful for the privilege to stand with you in prayer for such a vital and heartfelt request. Your burden for true laborers—those called to serve orphans, the elderly, and the edification of the Church with pure hearts, sincere faith, and unwavering devotion to God’s Word—has been laid before the Lord with earnestness. We have prayed in agreement with you, asking the Father to raise up men and women of godly character, founded on love from a pure heart, a good conscience, and sincere faith, just as Scripture commands (1 Timothy 1:5). We have interceded for the establishment of orphanages and schools that teach sound doctrine, where the truth of God’s Word is upheld and lived out in power.
We have also lifted up the Church, asking the Lord to guard all believers—young and old—from deception, wrongdoing, fear, and lies, especially in these last days when evil people and imposters grow worse (2 Timothy 3:13). We have prayed for protection from those who profess to know God but deny Him by their deeds (Titus 1:16), and for strength for true believers to study, accurately handle, and boldly proclaim the Word of God (2 Timothy 2:15). We have asked the Lord to wash His people with the sanctifying Word of Christ, that they may be cleansed from the lies and deceptions of the enemy, who seeks to devour and destroy (John 17:17, Revelation 12:11).
We have stood on the promise that the gates of hell will not prevail against the Church Christ is building (Matthew 16:18), and we have prayed for the Church to make herself ready, clothed in the righteousness of Christ (Revelation 19:7-8). We have asked the Lord to keep His people in the world but not of it, that the Gospel may go forth purely and boldly, received by those with ears to hear, and that all believers would be kept from evil and the evil one (John 17:15, 2 Thessalonians 3:3).
