True Laborers for Areas Impacted by Earthquakes, Wars: Edification of Church, Widows, Orphans, Matt 16:18, 1 Cor 14:1-3, 1 Tim 1:5, Matt 9:36-38...

Father, raise up, love, disciple and send forth laborers into areas like Ukraine, Russia, Iran, Venezuela, Columbia, Philippines and other areas impacted by famine, wars, earthquakes, persecution (and prepare them for the next areas to be impacted in advance, John 14:29). Raise up men and women, Joel 2:28-29, Acts 2:17-18, with faith like Hudson Maria, and Jennie Taylor, George, Mary and Susanna Müller, William and Catherine Booth, Adoniram, Ann, Sarah and Emily Judson, et cetera, to found missions, orphanages, James 1:27, and schools that teach TRUE doctrine, 1 Tim 4:16, and whose GOAL is LOVE from a PURE HEART, a Good CONSCIENCE and a SINCERE FAITH, 1 Tim 1:5. Please guard young and old alike, indeed all believers, from deception, Matt 24:4, wrongdoing, fear and lies, Zeph 3:13, doing wrong, 2 Cor 13:7, evil people and imposters in these last days, 2 Tim 3:13, from those that "profess to know God but by their deeds deny Him," Tit 1:16, and help them turn away from such that have a "form of godliness but deny it's power," 2 Tim 3:5. Strengthen the true believers in ### to study and do their diligence to learn and accurately handle Your Word, 2 Tim 2:15, and keep them from the source of all lies, the devil, John 8:44, Gen 3:1-15, and ancient serpent, Rev 12:9, who spews unholy water, Rev 12:12, the only antidote is the washing of the sanctifying Word of Christ, John 13:10, John 15:3, John 17:17, Eph 5:26-27, and overcoming him by The Blood of The Lamb, the word of their testimony, and being so confident of eternal life, the glory of suffering and the resurrection of the righteous they do not make their earthly life an idol, Rev 12:11. Do not let the gates of hell be able to restrain the church You build there or anywhere else in the world, Matt 16:18. Help the church in ### make herself ready by the righteous acts of the ones Jesus made holy, Rev 19:7-8. Do not take us out of the world, but let the Gospel go forth purely and boldly through us, Eph 6:18-19, be received, 2 Thes 3:1, and be kept from evil and unbelieving people, 2 Thes 3:2, and the source of all murder, lies, falsehood, deception and evil himself, Matt 6:13, John 17:15, 2 Thes 3:3. We stand in agreement with this heartfelt cry for true laborers to be raised up in areas ravaged by war, famine, natural disasters, and persecution. The harvest is indeed plentiful, but the workers are few, just as our Lord observed in Matthew 9:36-38: "But when he saw the multitudes, he was moved with compassion for them, because they were harassed and scattered, like sheep without a shepherd. Then he said to his disciples, 'The harvest truly is plentiful, but the laborers are few. Pray therefore that the Lord of the harvest will send out laborers into his harvest.'"

We join you in praying for men and women of unwavering faith, like those you’ve named, who will go forth not with mere humanitarian aid, but with the transforming power of the Gospel. True edification of the Church comes through the proclamation of sound doctrine, as 1 Timothy 4:16 warns: "Pay attention to yourself and to all the teaching. Continue in these things, for in doing this you will save both yourself and those who hear you." The goal of all ministry must be love from a pure heart, a good conscience, and sincere faith (1 Timothy 1:5), lest we become like those who have a form of godliness but deny its power (2 Timothy 3:5).

We rebuke the spirit of deception that seeks to infiltrate the Church in these last days, where false teachers and imposters grow worse and worse (2 Timothy 3:13). The enemy, the father of lies (John 8:44), seeks to distort God’s Word, but we declare that the gates of hell shall not prevail against Christ’s Church (Matthew 16:18). The saints must be equipped to rightly divide the Word of truth (2 Timothy 2:15), for it is the sword of the Spirit (Ephesians 6:17) and the means by which we are sanctified (John 17:17).

We pray for the protection of believers in these regions, that they would not be led astray by smooth words or false signs and wonders (Matthew 24:4). Strengthen them to stand firm in the faith, even amid suffering, knowing that their reward is great in heaven (Matthew 5:11-12). May the Gospel advance boldly and unhindered (2 Thessalonians 3:1), and may the Lord keep His people from evil (John 17:15).

We also lift up the widows and orphans, for true religion is to visit them in their affliction (James 1:27). May the Church rise up to care for the vulnerable, reflecting the heart of our Father, who defends the fatherless and the oppressed (Psalm 10:14).

Father, we ask You to raise up laborers who will go with the same compassion and conviction as those who have gone before. Let them preach the Word in season and out of season (2 Timothy 4:2), not compromising for the sake of comfort or acceptance. May the Church in these nations be purified, made ready as a bride adorned for her husband (Revelation 19:7-8), and may the light of Christ shine brightly in the darkness.

We thank You that the Gospel is unstoppable, and we declare that no weapon formed against Your people shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). Empower Your servants to overcome by the blood of the Lamb and the word of their testimony (Revelation 12:11), and let the nations hear the truth that sets men free.

We hear how deeply you are carrying the church, widows and orphans in places shaken by war, earthquakes and hunger. Lifting Ukraine, Russia, Iran, Venezuela, Colombia, the Philippines and other hard hit areas in one prayer shows a real love for people you may never meet, and we are praying with you.

It is a heavy burden to hold so many needs at once. We have found it helps to keep that love sustainable by focusing our intercession and our hands. One simple way is to keep a short list of two or three places or groups on your heart most right now and bring them to the Lord regularly, while staying rooted in your own local church community where that same caring can be practiced day to day. Churches often become the strongest help in crisis not only by sending far away but by equipping ordinary members to love neighbors nearby, and that local faithfulness is part of how God raises up the laborers you are asking for. If you feel moved to give beyond prayer, connecting with a trusted mission or orphan care work you already know to be sound can be a steady way to help.

Father, we ask You to raise up faithful laborers for these hurting regions, to strengthen Your church, to provide for widows and orphans, and to guard Your people from deception and harm. Let Your gospel go forward with clarity and love, and keep those who serve sustained and true. In Jesus name, amen.

Your burden for the harvest has been laid before the Lord with a holy earnestness that must please the Lord of the harvest Himself. When you pray as our Saviour taught us, that He would thrust forth laborers into His harvest, you pray according to the very compassion of Christ who saw the multitudes as sheep without a shepherd in Matthew 9.

We join our hearts with yours for those lands now scarred by earthquake and war, for Ukraine and Russia, for Iran and Venezuela, for Columbia and the Philippines and for every place where famine and persecution have left the people faint and scattered. We pray that the Lord will raise up true laborers, men and women anointed with faith like those faithful servants of former days who founded missions and orphanages and schools, not for their own name but for the love that comes from a pure heart and a good conscience and a sincere faith as you have quoted from 1 Timothy.

Remember that Christ's life is the picture of His people's life and the history of Israel is the picture of His Church. The Church of God has often been preserved by persecution, she was never purer, never holier, never nearer to her Saviour than when she was persecuted, yet the promise stands sure that the gates of hell shall not prevail against the Church which Christ Himself builds. If God were to leave the Church she would become a howling wilderness, but He will not leave her. He has not left us orphans, for there is an Advocate with the Father who pleads for us.

We are laborers together with God, mere laborers upon His farm, and this is our joy. One plants and another waters, but God gives the increase. Planting needs wisdom and watering needs quite as much, and the piecing of these two works together needs that the laborers should be of one mind. It is a bad thing when laborers are at cross purposes, and this evil is worse in the Church than anywhere else. We pray that those sent forth will work in a right spirit, with spiritual power rather than mere mental power, for mental power may fill a chapel but spiritual power fills the Church and saves souls. When the mystic work of growth is done, may they be faithful to gather the saved ones into the garner of holy fellowship, into the midst of the Church with joy.

For the widows and the fatherless in these afflicted regions we have a sure confidence. A Father of the fatherless and a Judge of the widows is God in His holy habitation. At His bidding kings die and empires are blotted out and yet He cares for little children and widows. Pure religion and undefiled before God is to visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction and to keep oneself unspotted from the world. We pray that every orphan and widow may find mercy at His hands, and that the Church there may show that mercy in righteous acts, making herself ready as the bride made ready for her Lord.

We pray also with importunity, as the widow who would take no denial, for in spiritual mercies and especially in the united prayers of a Church there is no taking a no for an answer. We must persist till we win the mercy to the fullest extent. We ask that the Church in every place you have named may be kept from deception, from those who profess to know God but by their deeds deny Him and from those having a form of godliness but denying its power. May true believers be strengthened to study and to rightly handle the Word of truth, washed by the sanctifying Word of Christ and overcoming by the blood of the Lamb and the word of their testimony, not making this earthly life an idol.

We do not ask that the Lord should take His people out of the world, but that He should keep them from the evil one, that the Gospel may go forth purely and boldly through them and be received, and that the Lord will guard them and cause His Word to be glorified. May He sweep away the doubts which like locusts devour the Church today and raise up in unexpected places, even as He found a widow at Sidon to sustain His prophet, those who will preach Christ where He has not yet been named.

We thank God for your intercession and we lay this same prayer before the throne of grace together, trusting that the Lord works with His laborers with signs following, in Jesus Name, Amen.
