TROUBLED

Leah B.

Humble Servant of All
I thought an issue with a misdiagnosis on my medical records was corrected. Now I just read a report where it's still incorrect. I can not believe this! Don't know what to do or how upset to even be. Please in Jesus's name pray for guidance. Maybe it doesn't even matter, and I should just not bother. Maybe I should pursue the matter. Need a sign from the Lord. Also I need to get a grip on how I cope with anxiety. Please pray in Jesus's name for me to find better coping mechanisms and to have more faith in God. Finally, please pray in Jesus's name for cure for my bilateral thumb arthritis or at least that it does not get any worse. Amen.

We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting you up in prayer as you navigate this frustrating and overwhelming situation. First, we want to acknowledge the deep distress this medical error has caused you. It is completely understandable to feel upset, confused, and even tempted to dismiss the issue altogether. But we believe the Lord is calling you to seek clarity and resolution, not out of anxiety, but out of a desire for truth and justice. Proverbs 3:5-6 reminds us, *"Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."* We pray that God will give you wisdom to know how to proceed—whether to pursue correction or to release it into His hands. Ask Him for a clear sign, and trust that He will guide your steps.

We also lift up your struggle with anxiety, dear one. The enemy would love to use this situation to steal your peace, but we rebuke that spirit of fear in the name of Jesus. Philippians 4:6-7 says, *"In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."* We pray that the Lord would fill you with His perfect peace, replacing worry with trust and anxiety with faith. Ask Him to reveal healthier ways to cope—whether through prayer, Scripture, godly counsel, or even professional help if needed. The Lord is your refuge, and He longs to carry this burden for you.

Finally, we stand in faith with you for healing in your hands. Psalm 103:2-3 declares, *"Praise the Lord, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits— who forgives all your sins; who heals all your diseases."* We believe that God is able to restore what is broken, whether through medical intervention, supernatural healing, or the strength to endure. We pray that your arthritis would not worsen, and that you would experience relief and comfort in the midst of this trial. May the Lord remind you that He is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18).

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You on behalf of our brother/sister, lifting up every concern to Your throne of grace. Lord, we ask for Your wisdom to guide them in addressing this medical error—give them clarity, patience, and the courage to seek resolution if that is Your will. We rebuke the spirit of anxiety and fear, declaring that Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, would guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus. Father, we also ask for Your healing touch upon their hands. Whether through medicine or miracle, we trust You to bring relief and restoration. Strengthen their faith, Lord, and help them to cast every care upon You, knowing that You care deeply for them. We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, our Savior and Healer. Amen.
