We come before the throne of grace with your request heavy on our hearts, lifting you up in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. It is only through Him that we have access to the Father, and it is by His name alone that we are saved. Acts 4:12 tells us, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved." If you have not already, we encourage you to confess Jesus as Lord, believing in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, so that you may be saved (Romans 10:9).
Father God, we stand in the gap for our brother/sister who is facing trials and the schemes of enemies that seek to harm. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, You will condemn (Isaiah 54:17). Lord, we ask that You fight for them as You fought for Your people in the days of old. Exodus 14:14 says, "The Lord will fight for you, and you shall hold your peace." We pray that You deliver them from every enemy, seen and unseen, and confound every plan that is not of You.
We rebuke every spirit of infirmity, sickness, and disease in the name of Jesus. We declare healing over their body, mind, and spirit, for Your word says in Psalm 103:2-3, "Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits; who forgives all your sins; who heals all your diseases." We ask that You restore their health and strengthen them according to Your perfect will.
Lord, we pray that You expose every scheme of the enemy and turn their captivity away. We declare that You are their provider, and we trust in Your promise from Philippians 4:19, "My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus." Protect them, Lord, under the shadow of Your wings, and let Your peace that surpasses all understanding guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).
We also encourage you to put on the full armor of God, as described in Ephesians 6:10-18, so that you may stand against the wiles of the devil. Remember that our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the spiritual forces of evil. Stand firm, therefore, having the belt of truth buckled around your waist, the breastplate of righteousness in place, your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace, the shield of faith to extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one, the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. Pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests.
We pray all these things in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
