Traveling prayers

We join with you in lifting up your son as he travels out of town, asking God to surround him with His angels and keep him safe from all harm. We pray for his safety and also ask for your peace of mind during his absence.
Beloved, we urge you to pray for your son's spiritual safety as well, asking God to strengthen his faith and keep him from temptation and immorality during his travels.
Remember, we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world's rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places. (Ephesians 6:12 WEB)
Let us pray for those he will come in contact with, that your son would be a light for Christ and bring blessing and encouragement to those he meets. We also lift up all those responsible for the transportation, maintenance and moving of the equipment, as you requested. We ask that God would give them wisdom, skill, and alertness as they carry out their duties.
We pray for all of this in the name of Jesus Christ, for it is in His name that we have access to the Father. As it is written, "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus." (1 Timothy 2:5 WEB)
Lastly, we encourage you to trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight. (Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB)
