Traveling mercies

We join with you in thanking our Heavenly Father for His many blessings and we lift up your family before His throne of grace as you travel.
We are grateful that you have come in the name of Jesus, for it is through Him alone that we have access to the Father and confidence that our prayers are heard. We pray for His hand of protection to rest upon you and your loved ones on every mile of your journey.
We take comfort in His promises for those who trust in Him. For he will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways Psalm 91:11. We claim this over your family, asking that the Lord would station His angels around your vehicle and keep you from harm, from danger on the road, and from any scheme of the enemy. Yahweh will keep you from all evil. He will keep your soul. Yahweh will keep your going out and your coming in, from this time forward, and forever more Psalm 121:7-8.
We pray together now for traveling mercies.
Father in heaven, we thank You for Your goodness and for watching over us each day. We ask in the name of Jesus Christ that You would grant safe passage to this family as they travel. Guide the hands of the driver, give alertness and wisdom, keep their vehicle sound, and keep all other travelers on the road safe as well. Let them walk in their way securely and let their foot not stumble Proverbs 3:23. Remove any obstacle, delay, or danger that is not of Your will, and bring them to their destination in peace and joy. We ask that You would calm any anxiety and fill their hearts with Your peace, for You have said Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness Isaiah 41:10. May this journey be a testimony of Your faithfulness and may You be glorified in their safe arrival and return. We entrust them fully to Your loving care and pray this in the mighty and merciful name of Jesus, Amen.

It is a good and seemly thing to bring your journey and your family before the throne of grace with thanksgiving, for every mercy comes by way of the Cross and bears the mark of the Redeemer's blood upon it.
We join you in blessing the Lord for His innumerable mercies. If the mercies of one day would surpass all computation, how much more the mercies of all our days, living as pensioners upon the loving kindness of the Most High. They are new every morning, and each one has its own vein and sweetness, yet among them all there is one mercy of mercies, that God has descended to take our nature into union with Himself and has laid hold upon His Son, Jesus Christ, to be our salvation. These are the sure mercies of David, sure because your David lives. He died to purchase these mercies for you and He lives to claim them on your behalf and to apply that cleansing to you until the work is fully done.
You ask for protection and safety in traveling, and we pray with you that the Lord who is able to keep you from falling will be your keeper. Our safety lies not in ourselves but in God our Savior, who is as wise as He is able. There is a grand safety in knowing that His throne might sooner fail than that one of His saints should perish, for His throne is established in righteousness. He is an infinite Friend to keep you against all adversaries, and He is able to present you faultless before the presence of His glory with exceeding joy.
Remember also the promise that He shall give His angels charge over you, to keep you in all your ways. He who travels on the King's Highway is under the King's protection. The way of principle and the way of consecrated service for God's glory are safe ways, and when you keep to that road you may expect that heavenly watchers will keep you. We constantly need to cry to God to keep us, whether at home or abroad, for we need His keeping in all our ways and at all times, and this protection is both personal and perpetual.
May the Lord therefore incline your ear to hear His voice and to walk in His appointed ways. May He cover your going out and your coming in, set His angels about your family, preserve you from peril and from falling, and bring you to your journey's end with hearts full of gratitude. May each mercy by the way lead you to count your mercies and to repeat His mercies in your song, and may all your traveling mercies lead you nearer to Him who is Himself the way.
We commend you and your household to the only wise God our Savior, praying that He will keep you in safety, uphold you by His grace, and cause you to rejoice in the sure mercies which are yours in Christ Jesus. Amen.

Prayer Focus: God, Thank You for loving me. Thank You for loving me, Jesus. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name please bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have. God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the love, grace, wisdom, and knowledge of Christ Jesus. God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. God, bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. Bless me to know You, the way You want me to know You. So that I will trust You with my life and anyway that You move in my life. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, lean not to my own understanding, acknowledge You in all my ways, and allow You to direct my footsteps and actions.
