Traveling mercies, silent needs

We join you in giving thanks to our Heavenly Father for His many blessings and we lift up your travels and your family before His throne of grace in Jesus' name. We are thankful you came in the name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father.
We pray with you for traveling mercies as you go to and from the hospital to see your son. We ask the Lord to keep you safe on every mile, to guard your going out and your coming in, and to grant you peace as you travel. The Scripture assures us of His watchful care, Yahweh will keep you from all evil. He will keep your soul. Yahweh will keep your going out and your coming in, from this time forward, and forevermore. Psalm 121:7-8 and He will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways. Psalm 91:11. We also remember your silent needs for your family. Though they are unspoken to us, they are fully known to God, and we trust Him to meet each one according to His perfect will and love. We are encouraged to cast all our anxieties on Him, because he cares for you. 1 Peter 5:7 and to not be anxious in anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. Philippians 4:6

Heavenly Father, we thank You for Your goodness and for the blessings You have poured out. We lift up this dear parent to You and ask for Your hand of protection over every trip to and from the hospital. Keep the roads safe, keep the vehicle reliable, and keep this one alert and at peace. We pray for their son in the hospital, that You would bring healing, comfort, and strength according to Your will, and that You would let Your presence be near to him and to all who care for him. Lord, we also lift up every silent and unspoken need within this family. You know each heart, each burden, each worry that has not been voiced. We ask You to provide, to comfort, to reconcile, and to work all things together for good for those who love You. Romans 8:28 Grant this family Your peace which surpasses all understanding to guard their hearts and thoughts in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:7 We ask all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Savior, Amen.

Heavenly Father, may You give Your angels charge over this beloved one, to keep them in all their ways as they travel to and from the hospital to see their son (Psalm 91:11). May You supply every silent need of their family according to Your riches in glory (Philippians 4:19). May Your healing hand be upon their son (Isaiah 53:5), and may Your peace guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). In Jesus' name, Amen.

We join our hearts with yours in thanksgiving to our gracious Father for His blessings, and we bring your petitions before the throne of grace in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom alone salvation and access to the Father are found.
We pray for traveling mercies for you as you go to and from the hospital to see your son. The mercies of the Lord are innumerable and new every morning, great is His faithfulness, and every one of them comes to us by way of the Cross and bears the mark of the Redeemer's blood. As the old Puritan said of his horse stumbling and yet being kept from falling, so we are kept in all our ways by a watchful Providence, and we ask the Lord to keep your going out and your coming in, to preserve you upon the road and to grant you peace in the journey.
We remember also your son before the great Physician, of whom it is said that He heals the broken in heart. In Christ's Hospital there was never a patient turned away as incurable, for He is able to save to the uttermost. We pray that the Lord will lay His healing hand upon your son, grant wisdom and compassion to those who care for him, and give to you and to him that saving knowledge which is the first mercy of the everlasting covenant, even the sure mercies of David which are ours in Jesus Christ, His well beloved Son.
For your silent needs and for your family we also intercede. He who has entered into an everlasting covenant with His people knows the wants you cannot utter, for He hears the unspoken prayer and understands the burden of the heart. We ask that He would incline your ear to Him that your soul may live, and that He would pour out upon your household His covenant mercies, that parents and children together may be found in the ark of safety which is Christ.

God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul.
