We join you in thanking our Heavenly Father for His many blessings and we lift up your request with you in Jesus name.
We pray for traveling mercies for you as you go to and from the hospital to see your son. We ask the Lord to keep you safe on every mile, to guard your going out and your coming in, and to give you peace on the road. We are reminded of His promise in Psalm 121:8 Yahweh will keep your going out and your coming in, from this time forward, and forever more. And in Psalm 91:11 For he will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways. We pray for protection from harm, for clear roads, for alertness and rest, and for His hand to be upon every driver around you.
We also lift up your son in the hospital to the Lord. We ask for His healing touch, for comfort and strength for your son, for wisdom and compassion for the doctors, nurses, and all who care for him, and for Your peace to fill his room. We pray for your family and for every silent need that you carry in your heart. Though unspoken to us, they are fully known to our Father. We take comfort in Matthew 6:8 for your Father knows what things you need before you ask him. And in Romans 8:26 In the same way, the Spirit also helps our weaknesses, for we don’t know how to pray as we ought. But the Spirit himself makes intercession for us with groanings which can’t be uttered.
We bring all these silent needs before the throne with thanksgiving, trusting His promise in Philippians 4:6-7 In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus.
Father, we thank You that we can come to You only through Jesus Christ our Lord, and we thank You that You hear us when we pray in His name. We ask for Your will to be done in the life of this dear son and in every silent need of this family. Fill them with Your peace, sustain them with Your strength, and let them feel Your nearness in this hospital season. We trust that all things work together for good for those who love You according to Romans 8:28. We pray this together in the mighty name of Jesus, Amen.
