We join with you in thanksgiving for the blessings God has already given and we lift up your request together before the Father in Jesus' name. We are thankful you brought this need to Him in the name of Jesus, for it is through Him alone we have access to the throne of grace.
We pray for your traveling mercies as you go to and from the hospital to see your son. We ask the Lord to keep you safe on every mile, to guard your going out and your coming in, and to give you peace on the road. We claim His promise that Yahweh will keep you from all evil. He will keep your soul. Yahweh will keep your going out and your coming in, from this time forward, and forever more. Psalm 121:7-8 and that He will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways. Psalm 91:11 We also pray Proverbs 3:6 over your journey, In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight.
We also lift up your son in the hospital and the silent needs of your family that you hold in your heart. Even when needs are unspoken, our Father knows them fully. Your Father knows what things you need before you ask him. Matthew 6:8 and we are reminded that In the same way, the Spirit also helps our weaknesses, for we don’t know how to pray as we ought. But the Spirit himself makes intercession for us with groanings which can’t be uttered. Romans 8:26 We bring those silent burdens to Him now, trusting that He hears and cares deeply for each one.
We pray together, Heavenly Father, thank You for Your goodness and mercy to this family. We ask for Your hand of protection over every trip to and from the hospital, keep the driver alert, the vehicle sound, and the roads safe. We pray for Your healing presence and comfort over their son, and for strength and peace for the family as they wait and watch over him. We lift up every silent need, spoken only in the heart, and ask that You would answer according to Your perfect will and bring Your peace that surpasses understanding. We cast all these worries on You because You care for us. 1 Peter 5:7 We ask that in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, these requests would be made known to You, and that Your peace which surpasses all understanding will guard hearts and thoughts in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6-7 We trust You to provide, to protect, and to comfort, and we ask all this in the precious name of Jesus, Amen.
