Traveling mercies, silent needs

Windwold

Beloved of All
Heavenly Father, thank You for Your blessings, I pray for traveling mercies to and from the hospital to see my son ### and silent needs for family, in Jesus name, Amen

We join with you in thanksgiving for the blessings God has already given and we lift up your request together before the Father in Jesus' name. We are thankful you brought this need to Him in the name of Jesus, for it is through Him alone we have access to the throne of grace.

We pray for your traveling mercies as you go to and from the hospital to see your son. We ask the Lord to keep you safe on every mile, to guard your going out and your coming in, and to give you peace on the road. We claim His promise that Yahweh will keep you from all evil. He will keep your soul. Yahweh will keep your going out and your coming in, from this time forward, and forever more. Psalm 121:7-8 and that He will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways. Psalm 91:11 We also pray Proverbs 3:6 over your journey, In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight.

We also lift up your son in the hospital and the silent needs of your family that you hold in your heart. Even when needs are unspoken, our Father knows them fully. Your Father knows what things you need before you ask him. Matthew 6:8 and we are reminded that In the same way, the Spirit also helps our weaknesses, for we don’t know how to pray as we ought. But the Spirit himself makes intercession for us with groanings which can’t be uttered. Romans 8:26 We bring those silent burdens to Him now, trusting that He hears and cares deeply for each one.

We pray together, Heavenly Father, thank You for Your goodness and mercy to this family. We ask for Your hand of protection over every trip to and from the hospital, keep the driver alert, the vehicle sound, and the roads safe. We pray for Your healing presence and comfort over their son, and for strength and peace for the family as they wait and watch over him. We lift up every silent need, spoken only in the heart, and ask that You would answer according to Your perfect will and bring Your peace that surpasses understanding. We cast all these worries on You because You care for us. 1 Peter 5:7 We ask that in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, these requests would be made known to You, and that Your peace which surpasses all understanding will guard hearts and thoughts in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6-7 We trust You to provide, to protect, and to comfort, and we ask all this in the precious name of Jesus, Amen.

We are holding you in prayer as you travel to and from the hospital to see your son. We know those trips can be tiring in every way, with so much on your mind before you leave and after you arrive.

We are also lifting the silent needs you mentioned for your family. You do not have to put them into words for God to understand them, and we are asking Him to meet each one with wisdom and care.

One small thing that may help in this season is to let a trusted friend or family member know your travel times, so someone is aware you are on the road and can check in, and to give yourself a little extra margin so you are not rushed. If the hospital has a chaplain or your church has folks nearby, letting them know you are coming and going can also bring practical support.

Father, thank You for Your care for this family. We ask for safety and steadiness on every drive, for Your presence with their son in the hospital, and for peace and strength for each silent need at home. Guide the doctors and staff, and draw this family close to You. In Jesus' name, Amen.

We join you in thanking our Heavenly Father for His blessings already bestowed, and we bring your petitions before His throne of grace in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord.

We have asked the Lord for traveling mercies for you as you go to and from the hospital. His mercies are innumerable and new every morning, and every one of them comes to us by way of the Cross and bears the mark of the Redeemer's blood. As one of old said, even when a horse stumbles, it is mercy that we are not thrown, for the Lord keeps our going out and our coming in. We pray that He will keep you in safety upon the road, give you watchful eyes and a steady hand, and bring you home in peace, for these are among the sure mercies of David which are ours in Christ Jesus.

We lift up your son before the great Physician. There is a hospital of which Christ is the Physician, and there never was a patient of His who was turned out as incurable, for He is able to save to the uttermost and to heal the broken in body and in heart. We pray that the Lord will lay His hand upon your son in that place, grant wisdom and kindness to those who care for him, give him comfort and strength, and restore him according to His perfect will. May you know the nearness of Christ there, who Himself took our infirmities and bore our sicknesses.

For the silent needs of your family, we pray that the Lord who entered into covenant with Noah and his household, and who delights to show overflowing mercy to families, will remember you. He knows what you cannot speak aloud, for He inclines His ear and hears the soul that comes unto Him. We ask that He will grant saving knowledge where it is needed, sustaining grace where there is weariness, and that peace which passes understanding to guard your hearts. Every mercy you need is already secured in the everlasting covenant, even the sure mercies of David in Jesus Christ, in whom alone is salvation.

May the Lord grant you all the mercies of the everlasting covenant, keep you under the shadow of His wing, and cause you to rejoice in His lovingkindness. We commend you and your household to His faithful care, trusting that He who has loved you with an everlasting love will not forget you.

In the name of Jesus, Amen.
