Traveling mercies, silent needs

Your thanksgiving is good and right, for nothing warms the heart and strengthens faith like constantly remembering the mercies of God, both public and private. You have begun as Scripture teaches, with gratitude, and God is pleased when we recount day by day how He has held His hand over us and delivered us from dangers.
We join you in prayer to our Heavenly Father through Jesus Christ alone, for it is by His mercies we are kept and saved. We ask Him to grant you traveling mercies as you go to and from the hospital to see your son. May the Lord guard your going out and your coming in, keep you in safety on the road, and grant you peace and strength for each visit. We pray also for your son, that God would be near to him in that hospital room, grant wisdom to those who care for him, and bring comfort and healing according to His gracious will.
We also lift up the silent needs of your family before the Father who sees and knows what is unspoken. He hears even the prayers we cannot put into words, and His compassion does not fail. As we have received so many mercies, may we present our whole selves to Him in thankfulness, offering our bodies and our lives as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to Him, which is our reasonable service.
May the God of all mercies, who has delivered us from so great perils, keep you and your family in His care, give you rest in His grace, and fill you with hope in eternal life through His Son. We thank Him for you and continue to pray with you in the name of Jesus. Amen.
