We join you in thanking our Heavenly Father for His blessings and we lift up your request together in Jesus name. We are grateful that you have come before the throne of grace in the name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father.
We pray with you for traveling mercies as you go to and from the hospital to see your son. We ask the Lord to keep you safe on every mile and to guard your going out and your coming in. Psalm 121:7-8 reminds us that Yahweh will keep you from all evil. He will keep your soul. Yahweh will keep your going out and your coming in, from this time forward, and forevermore. We also cling to the promise in Psalm 91:11 that He will put His angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways. We pray for alertness, protection from harm, and peace on the road, and that the Lord would order your steps according to Proverbs 3:5-6.
We also lift up your son in the hospital and your silent needs for your family. Though unspoken to us, they are fully known to God. Romans 8:26 tells us that the Spirit himself makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered when we do not know how to pray as we ought. And Psalm 139:4 says even before a word is on our tongue, Yahweh knows it altogether. We cast all your cares on Him because He cares for you as 1 Peter 5:7 teaches. We bring your family before Him and ask for His comfort, provision, and healing presence to rest upon each need.
We pray together, Heavenly Father, thank You for Your mercy and faithful love. We ask for Your hand of protection over this travel, keep this dear one safe to and from the hospital, remove any danger or obstacle and grant calm and safe passage. We lift up this son to You, Lord, touch him with Your healing power, comfort him, strengthen him, and let Your presence be near in that hospital room. We lift up every silent and unspoken need in this family, You know each one intimately, and we ask You to answer according to Your perfect will and bring peace that surpasses understanding as promised in Philippians 4:6-7. Give this family faith, unity, and rest in Your care, and let them feel Your nearness in this season. We trust You for all these things and ask in the mighty and precious name of Jesus, Amen.
We encourage you to continue to trust Him day by day and to cast every worry upon Him, knowing that He hears every prayer spoken and unspoken and that He is faithful to keep and sustain you.
