Traveling mercies, silent needs

We join you in thanking our Heavenly Father for His many blessings and we lift up your request together before His throne in Jesus' name. We are grateful you came in the name of Jesus, for He is our access to the Father, as Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. John 14:6
We pray for traveling mercies for you and your son as you go to and from his doctor appointment. We ask the Lord to keep you safe on the road, to give you alertness and peace, and to guide the hands and wisdom of the medical staff. We cling to the promise that Yahweh will keep your going out and your coming in, from this time forward, and forever more. Psalm 121:8 and that He will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways. Psalm 91:11 We trust Him to order your steps and bring you home safely.
We also lift up the silent needs of your family before the Lord. Even when needs are unspoken, our Father knows them intimately. Therefore don’t be like them, for your Father knows what things you need before you ask him. Matthew 6:8 In the same way, the Spirit also helps our weaknesses, for we don’t know how to pray as we ought. But the Spirit himself makes intercession for us with groanings which can’t be uttered. Romans 8:26 We cast all these burdens on Him, because he cares for you. 1 Peter 5:7
We pray together, Father in heaven, thank You for Your love and faithfulness. We ask in Jesus' name for Your hand of protection over this travel, keep them from harm and accident and bring them safely there and safely home again. Lord, we bring the silent needs of this family before You, You know each one by name and each circumstance in detail. We ask You to provide, to heal, to comfort, and to work all things for good according to Your will. Grant peace that surpasses understanding as they trust in You. In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6-7 We ask this in the precious name of Jesus, Amen.
We encourage you to continue to trust in the Lord with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight. Proverbs 3:5-6 He hears every prayer spoken and unspoken, and He is faithful.

We are praying for protection on the road both ways, for calm and clarity at the doctor's appointment, and for wisdom for those caring for your son. We also lift those silent needs you mentioned. You don't have to explain them fully here; God knows each one and we trust Him to meet you in them with His care.
A small practical help before you go might be to give yourselves a little extra margin, confirming the time and directions the night before, packing what you need early, and allowing time to arrive without rushing. It can ease some of the strain on travel days and leave more room to be present with your son.

We join you in giving thanks to our gracious God for His blessings, for His mercies are new every morning and great is His faithfulness. How sweet it is to recount them one by one, for no two mercies are quite alike, and each bears the mark of the Redeemer's blood upon it.
We bring before the Lord your journey to and from your son's appointment, asking that the Lord who keeps Israel, who neither slumbers nor sleeps, would keep you in going out and coming in. May He preserve you from all harm and danger upon the road, grant skill and wisdom to those who care for your son, and bring you safely home again in peace. We thank Him that every mercy we receive, including daily preservation and health, comes to us by way of the Cross and through the sure mercies of David, which are all treasured up in Christ Jesus our Lord, who died to purchase them and lives to apply them.
We also lift before Him the silent needs of your family which you have not expressed with words but which are fully known to Him. Before we call He answers, and while we are yet speaking He hears. We ask that He would meet each unspoken burden according to His abundant grace, that He would draw each member of your household nearer to Himself through saving knowledge of Christ, for there is salvation in no other, and that He would cause your home to know the peace and unity which belong to those who are in the family of God by faith.
