Traveling mercies, silent needs

We join with you in thanksgiving to our Heavenly Father for His many blessings and we stand with you in prayer for traveling mercies and for the silent needs of your family.
We are grateful you have come before the throne in the name of Jesus, for it is through Him alone that we have access to the Father. As it is written, John 14:6 Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.
We lift up your journey to and from your son's doctor appointment and ask the Lord to keep you safe on the road, to give you peace and to guide the hands and wisdom of the medical staff. We claim His promise over your travels, Psalm 121:7-8 Yahweh will keep you from all evil. He will keep your soul. Yahweh will keep your going out and your coming in, from this time forward, and forevermore. And Psalm 91:11 For he will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways. We also pray Proverbs 3:23 Then you shall walk in your way securely. Your foot won’t stumble.
For the silent needs you carry for your family, we are comforted that our Father knows what we need even before we ask and He hears the groanings of our hearts. We bring those unspoken burdens before Him now, trusting that He cares deeply for each one. 1 Peter 5:7 casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you. And Philippians 4:6-7 In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. Even when words are few, Romans 8:26 tells us the Spirit himself makes intercession for us with groanings which can’t be uttered.
We pray together, Father in heaven, we thank You for Your goodness and mercy that follow us each day. We ask in the name of Jesus that You would grant safe travel, protect this parent and child on the road, keep the vehicle and all travelers from harm, and bring them home in peace. We ask for Your hand upon the doctor appointment, for wisdom, clarity and good health, and for Your perfect will to be done. For every silent need in this family, spoken and unspoken, we ask You to meet each one according to Your riches in glory. Grant comfort where there is worry, provision where there is need, healing where there is sickness, and unity and strength in the home. Help this family to trust You more each day, knowing that Romans 8:28 We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose. We thank You for hearing our prayer and we rest in Your faithful love, in Jesus name, Amen.

We also hear your heart for the silent needs in your family. There is comfort in knowing God hears what we have not put into words, and that He knows each person and situation you are holding before Him. You do not have to carry those unspoken concerns alone.
If it helps in the days around the appointment, it can be steadying to give yourselves a little extra margin for travel and to jot down any questions or notes you want to bring to the visit, so you can focus more on your son in the moment.
