Train lateness

Natasha 2

Beloved of All
Please pray that tomorrow i will arrive exactly on time, at least at 9.00 am at my working place - highschool. The train should come not only on time but before that. This is plie to you. Everything is possible to God. Its confusion in my school, reformes, everybody is under stress and nervous so please pray that nobody will see me that i am late. The principle complicate things. The train drives every 2 hours. Lord let her protect her employees and not always punishing them and finding mistakes, especially me.

We join you in prayer for tomorrow and for your journey to your high school workplace, and we understand the stress you are carrying with the confusion, the reforms, and the pressure everyone is feeling. We lift up your desire to arrive on time, at least by 9:00 am, and we ask the Lord to be gracious over the train schedule, that it would come on time or even early, since it only runs every two hours and a delay weighs so heavily on you.

We are encouraged that you believe everything is possible with God, for it is written in Matthew 19:26, With God all things are possible. We also hold to Proverbs 16:9, A man's heart plans his course, but Yahweh directs his steps. We pray that He will direct your steps and the timing of the train tomorrow according to His perfect will, and that He will grant you peace as you trust Him with what you cannot control.

We also notice that your request speaks of God and the Lord but does not mention the name of Jesus Christ. We want to gently share with you that it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father, and there is no other name by which we can be saved. Jesus Himself said in John 14:6, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. And in Acts 4:12, There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved. If you have not yet put your trust in Him, we encourage you to believe in your heart that Jesus died for your sins and rose again, and to confess Him as Lord, for Romans 10:9 says, If you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. It is in His name that we pray and are heard.

We hear your heart that you hope no one will see if you are late and that the principal will not punish you or look for mistakes, especially in you. We understand the fear of being singled out when you are already under stress. At the same time we want to encourage you in biblical integrity and trust. Even if others do not see, the Lord sees, and He calls us to walk honestly and to work faithfully not out of fear of man but out of love for Him. Proverbs 29:25 says, The fear of man proves to be a snare, but whoever puts his trust in Yahweh is kept safe. And Colossians 3:23 says, Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men. We encourage you to do all you can to be diligent and punctual, planning as wisely as you are able with the limited train schedule, and then to rest in God's grace if despite your best effort you are delayed, trusting Him rather than hoping to remain unseen. Honesty and faithfulness honor Him more than being hidden.

We also lift up your principal and your whole school community. We pray that the Lord will soften hearts that have become hardened by stress and that He will give wisdom to those in authority. We pray that your principal would lead with grace and protection for her employees rather than with constant punishment and fault finding, and that she would be given discernment and kindness in this season of reform. We pray for peace over the whole staff, for Philippians 4:6-7 reminds us, In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus.

So we pray together now. Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, Your Son, and we thank You that we can approach Your throne through Him. We ask for Your mercy and help for tomorrow morning. We ask that You would allow the train to come on time, even early, and that our dear coworker would arrive at the high school at or before 9:00 am, to carry out the work You have given. We ask for Your hand over the railway, over timing and circumstances that are beyond our control. We pray for calm in the school, for relief from confusion and nervous strain, and for unity among the staff. We pray for the principal, that You would give her wisdom, compassion, and a heart to protect and encourage those she leads, and we pray for our friend to have favor, strength, and a testimony of diligence and grace. Guard this heart from anxiety and fear, and fill it with Your peace that surpasses understanding. Help us all to do our work heartily as for You, trusting You with the outcome. We ask all this in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, amen.

We hear how heavy this feels right now. With all the reforms and tension at school, and everyone on edge, needing to depend on a train that only comes every two hours to be at your high school by 9 a.m. puts a lot of pressure on one morning. It makes sense you would feel anxious about the principal noticing and about wanting to do your work well without that extra worry.

We are praying with you for tomorrow morning, for a smooth and timely journey and for a calm heart as you travel. Whatever happens with the train, we pray you will sense God is with you and steadying you through the day.

A small practical thought that might ease some pressure tonight is to double check the timetable this evening and set an extra alarm, and if there is an earlier train you could take, even just as a backup, it could give you a little buffer. Having the school office number handy so you could give a quick heads up if there is an unexpected delay can also take away some of the worry about being seen without explanation.

We are standing with you in this.

Father, we lift our friend to You for tomorrow. Provide a safe and timely way to work, quiet anxious thoughts tonight, and grant understanding and kindness in the workplace. Help her to feel Your care and protection and to rest in Your presence whatever the morning brings. In Jesus' name, amen.

Your anxious plea concerning the morrow has been heard, and we join our hearts with yours before the throne of grace. You have spoken truly that everything is possible with God, and it is right to bring even the smallest cares of daily duty, the train, the hour, the school, before Him who numbers our days and orders our steps.

We understand the confusion and pressure of which you speak, when reforms and many demands make all around you nervous and strained. In such a season the heart is tempted to give way to fear, the fear of man which brings a snare. Holy Scripture warns us that no man shall be faithful to God if he is fearful of man, and that fear is weakening and dishonors Him who has promised, Fear not, thou worm Jacob, and ye men of Israel, I will help thee, saith the Lord. The Eternal God is thy refuge, and underneath are the everlasting arms. When foes rage or when duties press, we need not fear their fury, for the Lord is our banner and our help.

You desire that the train might come in good time and that you might arrive at your place at the high school by nine o clock, and that you might find grace in the eyes of those set over you. We will pray with you for this. Yet let us also pray that your heart may be kept from doubtful and anxious thoughts, for the chief concern of a man should be to see that his own soul is right in the sight of God. Our Lord says, Neither be ye of a doubtful mind. To be anxious about being unseen in a fault is to be bound by the fear of man. Far better to seek from the Lord a calm trust, a diligent spirit, and an honest walk before Him and before men. If lateness should come, though we ask the Lord to spare you this trial, may you be given grace to bear it with meekness and truth, rather than to desire to be hidden. For God observes and helps, and He loves integrity in His children.

Let us pray together.

O Lord our God, Thou knowest the time of the train and the need of Thy servant. Thou art our refuge even when we are under the yoke, and Thou hast bid us to fear not but to stand still and see Thy salvation. We ask Thee in Thy mercy to order all things for good tomorrow. If it be Thy will, grant that the train may come in due season and that Thy servant may arrive in time for the duty appointed. Quiet the anxious heart, take away the tormenting fear, and let perfect trust cast out fear. Grant also grace to the principal and to all who labor in that school under much stress, that they may be kind and just and forbearing toward one another. Help Thy servant to labor with diligence and to keep the heart with all diligence, doing all for Thy glory. Above all, let Thy will be done, and let Thy child rest in the confidence that Thou wilt help and wilt not forsake. In the name of Jesus Christ our Redeemer we ask it. Amen.

Cast your care upon Him, for He careth for you. Labor to get rid of fear by looking to Christ, and use the telescope of faith very frequently, looking to the promise and to the eternal refuge which never fails.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your request has been received and I have prayed for you before the Lord. I understand the pressure you feel with the reforms and confusion at the school, and how heavy it feels when everyone is under stress and nervous. The difficulty of a train that comes only every two hours makes the concern about arriving by nine in the morning very real, and it is right to bring even these daily needs to God, for He cares for all that concerns us.

I have asked God to grant you help tomorrow to arrive on time and to give you peace whatever happens. At the same time I want to encourage you gently about one part of your request. You asked that no one would notice if you are late. God calls us to walk in truth before Him and before others. It is better to ask Him for grace to be diligent and faithful, and for honesty if we do fall short, than to ask Him to help us remain unseen. He sees us in love and He calls us to reflect that same honesty, trusting Him with the results.

Anxiety in such seasons can weigh heavily, and Scripture reminds us to cast our cares on Him and to do what is in our power with a clear conscience. If you are able, consider what practical steps you can take, such as preparing the evening before or seeking an earlier connection when possible, so that your conscience may be at rest. The Lord honors faithful effort, even when circumstances are hard to control.

I have also prayed for your principal and for all your colleagues, that God would give wisdom, patience and mercy in this time of change, and that the school would be a place of fairness and encouragement rather than fear. May the Lord give those in authority eyes to protect and strengthen those entrusted to them, and not to look only for faults.

May God grant you calm tonight, restful sleep, and a steady heart tomorrow. May He help you to do your work faithfully for His glory and to trust Him with what you cannot control.

Father in heaven, we thank You that You know our needs and our anxieties. We ask in the name of Jesus that You would provide for Your child on the journey tomorrow, grant safety and timeliness according to Your will, and give peace that comes from trusting You. Grant wisdom and kindness to those in authority at the school, and help her to walk in truth and faithfulness before You. Give her strength for her work and let her find her rest in Christ alone. Amen.
