I work a lot and live alone and try getting help from everyone I can’t , but I need a deep heart prayer for my faith get stronger in God, but things get worse with the neighbors torturing me, and always praying but to me God let them win. I pray one day God will show me what I’m doing wrong

It is clear that you are enduring great trials, both in your spirit and in your daily life, and we want you to know that God sees your suffering and hears your prayers. The enemy may seek to discourage you, but we declare that your faith will not be shaken, and God’s strength will be made perfect in your weakness.

First, we must address the spiritual battle you are facing. The harassment you describe from neighbors is not merely a physical or social issue, it is a spiritual attack meant to break your trust in God. The Bible tells us in Ephesians 6:12, "For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places." This means that the torment you are experiencing is not just from people, but from the enemy who seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10). We rebuke every demonic influence behind this harassment in the name of Jesus Christ. We command every spirit of torment, oppression, and fear to flee from you now, and we declare that no weapon formed against you shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17).

You mentioned that you feel as though God is allowing them to "win." We want to gently correct this thought with Scripture. God is sovereign, and nothing happens outside of His will, but He does not delight in your suffering. Psalm 34:18-19 says, "The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit. Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the Lord delivers him out of them all." Your trials are not a sign of God’s abandonment, but an opportunity for Him to show His power and faithfulness. We must also remind you that God’s ways are higher than our ways (Isaiah 55:8-9), and His timing is perfect. What feels like defeat now may be the very thing God uses to strengthen your faith and bring about His greater purpose.

We also want to encourage you to examine your heart and life for any areas that may be giving the enemy a foothold. The Bible warns us in 1 Peter 5:8, "Be sober and self-controlled. Be watchful. Your adversary, the devil, walks around like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour." Are there any unconfessed sins, bitterness, unforgiveness, or areas of your life where you have not fully surrendered to God? Even small compromises can give the enemy room to attack. We urge you to search your heart and repent of anything that may be hindering your relationship with God. James 4:7 says, "Be subject therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you." Submission to God and resistance to the enemy are key to breaking free from spiritual oppression.

Your request for deeper faith is beautiful, and we want to assure you that God honors such a desire. Faith is not something we muster up on our own, it is a gift from God, and it grows as we seek Him. Romans 10:17 tells us, "So faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God." If your faith feels weak, we encourage you to immerse yourself in Scripture. Meditate on God’s promises, speak them out loud, and declare them over your life. Even when you don’t feel like it, choose to praise God. Psalm 8:2 says, "From the lips of babes and infants you have established strength, because of your adversaries, that you might silence the enemy and the avenger." Your praise is a weapon against the enemy’s attacks.

We also want to address the loneliness and exhaustion you feel from working so much and living alone. God never intended for us to walk through life in isolation. Ecclesiastes 4:9-10 says, "Two are better than one, because they have a good reward for their labor. For if they fall, the one will lift up his fellow; but woe to him who is alone when he falls, and doesn’t have another to lift him up." We encourage you to seek out a biblical, Christ-centered community, a local church or small group where you can find fellowship, accountability, and support. If you are not already connected to a church, we urge you to find one where the Word of God is preached faithfully and where you can grow in your relationship with Him and with other believers.

Now, let us pray for you:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We lift up our dear brother/sister who is enduring great trials and spiritual warfare. Lord, You see the torment they are facing, and You hear their cries for help. We ask that You would surround them with Your presence and fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Strengthen their faith, Lord, and help them to trust in You even when the circumstances seem overwhelming.

We rebuke every spirit of torment, oppression, and fear that is attacking them. We command these spirits to flee in the name of Jesus, for You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control (2 Timothy 1:7). We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, You will condemn (Isaiah 54:17). Lord, expose and dismantle every scheme of the enemy against them, and let Your light shine into every dark place in their life.

Father, we ask that You would reveal to them any areas where the enemy may have gained a foothold. Search their heart, Lord, and lead them in repentance where it is needed. Cleanse them from all unrighteousness and restore them to a place of intimacy with You (1 John 1:9). Help them to forgive those who have wronged them, just as You have forgiven them (Colossians 3:13). Break every chain of bitterness, resentment, or unforgiveness, and fill them with Your love and grace.

Lord, we pray for their faith to grow stronger each day. Help them to fix their eyes on You, the author and perfecter of their faith (Hebrews 12:2). When they feel weak, remind them that Your power is made perfect in weakness (2 Corinthians 12:9). Fill them with Your Holy Spirit, and let them experience Your presence in a tangible way. Surround them with godly community, believers who will encourage them, pray for them, and walk alongside them in this season.

Father, we also ask that You would provide for their needs. Give them rest from their labor, and refresh their spirit. Open doors for them to connect with a local church where they can find fellowship and support. Lord, if there is any loneliness or isolation in their heart, we ask that You would comfort them and remind them that You are always with them (Matthew 28:20). Let them know that they are never alone, for You are their ever-present help in times of trouble (Psalm 46:1).

Finally, Lord, we ask that You would use this season of trial for Your glory. Turn their pain into purpose, their suffering into strength, and their trials into testimony. Let their life be a light that draws others to You. We trust in Your goodness, Your faithfulness, and Your perfect plan for their life. In the name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you to hold fast to God’s promises and to stand firm in your faith. The enemy may roar, but he is already defeated. Jesus Christ has overcome the world (John 16:33), and through Him, you are more than a conqueror (Romans 8:37). Keep praying, keep trusting, and keep seeking God with all your heart. He will not forsake you. If you have not already, we urge you to surrender your life fully to Jesus Christ, for He is the only way to the Father (John 14:6). If you have never made that decision, we invite you to pray this prayer with us:

"Lord Jesus, I come to You today, acknowledging that I am a sinner in need of Your salvation. I believe that You died on the cross for my sins and rose again from the dead. I repent of my sins and ask You to forgive me. I invite You into my heart and life to be my Lord and Savior. Fill me with Your Holy Spirit, and help me to live for You. Thank You for saving me and giving me eternal life. In Your name, I pray. Amen."

We hear how wearying this is, working so hard, living alone, feeling cut off from help, and on top of that the constant distress with your neighbors. When it seems like the harder you pray, the more they get the upper hand, it’s not surprising that you’re left asking God what you’re doing wrong. We don’t believe your suffering is a punishment or a sign that you’ve failed somehow. Sometimes suffering is just the painful signal that something in this world isn’t right, and it’s that very ache that sends us crying out to God in the first place.

What stands out to us is that you haven’t stopped reaching toward him. That takes a quiet kind of strength, even when it doesn’t feel like it. You’re not letting go of your faith; you’re wrestling to hold on, and that matters. In the middle of the noise and the loneliness, maybe one small step is to let your prayer become very simple, not a long plea for everything to change all at once, but a short, honest sentence when the walls feel thin: “Lord, help me right now.” You don’t have to figure out what you’re doing wrong before you can ask for his presence. You can invite him into the raw, hurting moment and trust that he hears you, even when the situation doesn’t shift.

And please don’t carry this isolation alone if there’s a safe fellow believer, a pastor, or a small group you can reach out to. Sometimes just knowing someone else is aware of the struggle lightens the load. If your physical safety is at risk, contacting local emergency services is the right and wise thing to do.

We are praying with you now:

Lord Jesus, you see this weary child of yours. You know the weight of feeling targeted and alone. We ask you to be a shield around them tonight. Bring them a sliver of peace that doesn’t make sense in the middle of the turmoil, and steady their heart when the taunts or the noise rise again. Help them to sense your nearness, and give them wisdom about any next step. In your strong name we pray. Amen.

You cry out that God lets your neighbors win, and that deepens the trial until it feels like torture. I hear a soul pressed beyond measure, and yet the very groan that rises from the depths is proof that grace has not abandoned you. The Evil One whispers, “Give up the closet! Prayer is all a fancy,” but I charge you, spurn that thought with all your might. Prayer, mighty prayer, will yet prevail if it has but time. God’s long-dated bills are not dishonored because they are not paid at first presentation. Delay is not denial.

That sense of needing a stronger faith, that you cannot do without the reality of Christ’s assured presence, is itself a sacred instinct. It is faith crying out in the dark. Do not despise it. Faith alone can keep a soul under discouragement seeking after Christ. Other things may send you a little way, but only faith will bring you to the goal. And if you have faith as a grain of mustard seed, He sees it, and He will accept it. The trial of your faith is no child’s play, but it is sent for an abundantly useful purpose: it will increase, develop, deepen, and strengthen your faith. You have prayed for more faith; often that prayer is heard through the rough pathway of sorrow. Only as faith is contested is faith confirmed.

You ask what you are doing wrong. The cause of unanswered prayer may sometimes lie in something connected with sin, a Fatherly chastisement that we might search our hearts. Yet many times the Lord’s silence is no mark of displeasure but a test to throw you back entirely upon His omnipotence. You must still continue to pray, for you do not know what God’s will is, but pray with resignation after your Savior’s perfect model in Gethsemane: “Nevertheless not as I will, but as You will.” Get a promise from the Word and then offer the prayer; the prayer will be answered as sure as God is God. But your own fancies will only fail you.

Remember, the trial of your faith is your own, yet it is in fellowship with the whole family of grace. Where you live, though you feel alone, that very place may become illustrious for a saint rather than for a Caesar. He who hears the raven’s cry and feeds it will not forget your lonely room. I cannot, I will not let You go except You bless me, let that be the holy wrestling of your spirit. And then, when deliverance comes, you will tell to sinners round what a dear Savior you have found. Until then, believe to see the goodness of the Lord even now and here. If He heard you once, He will hear you still. Rest in His will, and you shall not faint.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God-conscious-solution-focused-heart-mind-spirit-and-attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. You say your neighbors torture you, and you wonder what you are doing wrong. But consider that our Lord did not promise ease, but a cross. The trial of your faith is more precious than gold. Do not think that God has let them win; rather, He sees your endurance and will perfect what is lacking.

Is your faith weak? Then pray, but not with words only: do acts worthy of mercy. Show kindness to those who afflict you, and so fulfill the law of Christ. Bear with their vehemence, that they in turn may bear with you, and you will complete the commandment of love.

For if you love God, you must love your neighbor as yourself. And if you seek mercy from God, first show it to those who trouble you. Do not say, “This one said this of me,” and pass on the report, but hold your peace. Remember that a city set on a hill cannot be hid; your patient endurance shines before men and glorifies God.

Though you feel cast down, God is clothing you with His care, as He does the grass of the field. O you of little faith, will He not much more care for you? He has called you to this: to fulfill every desire of goodness and work of faith with power. Endure, and your calling will be made sure.

None can lay any charge against God’s elect; if you are His, He will confirm you to the end. So cease asking what you have done wrong, and ask rather for strength to love. For this is the sum of all: love, and you will keep the whole law. Your neighbors’ cruelty is the occasion for your crown.

Therefore, do not faint, but let patience have its perfect work, that your faith may be made strong and deep-rooted, giving you boldness in the day of Christ.

I hear the ache and weariness in your words. To work long hours, live alone, and then face torment from those who should be neighbors, while it seems God lets them win, is a crushing weight. You cry out for deeper faith and for an answer to what you might be doing wrong, and that cry itself is precious to the Lord.

This trial you are enduring is not evidence that God has abandoned you. It is the proving of your faith. True faith is not just a statement; it is a living trust that survives the fire. The enemy would love to use this suffering to rip away your trust and leave you bitter. But God is able to use the very same affliction to make your faith more genuine, more steadfast, and more alive. Throughout Scripture, persecution pressed true believers into a deeper dependence, causing faith to increase exceedingly and love to abound.

Think of Abraham, whose faith was credited to him as righteousness. He believed God, and that trust produced obedience, even when it meant holding nothing back. Or remember the men and women of faith described in Hebrews. Some saw miracles, but others were tortured and mocked, and they died still believing, not having received the full promise in this life. Their secret was endurance born of seeing Him who is invisible. Faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see. It is not blind; it glimpses far more than the visible pain. That is the kind of substance God is working into your heart right now.

You ask what you are doing wrong. It is right to examine yourself, but sometimes the answer is not a hidden sin you must correct. It may be that God is letting your strength be stripped away so that you cling to Jesus alone. Persecution separates the wheat from the chaff. It forces the question: Will I trust Him even when relief does not come? Do not let the affliction move you from your steadfast hope. Hold fast to the simple truth that you are saved by grace through faith in Jesus Christ, not by your own efforts or by the appearance of victory.

Prayer is not a matter of many words, and its power is not measured by how long you have been on your knees. It is a child coming to the Father. Pour out your heart and then learn to be still before Him. Listen for His gentle whisper. Surrender your desire to see immediate justice and instead ask for His will to be accomplished in and through this. Your primary call is to trust that His kingdom and power are at work, even when all you feel is defeat.

Let your faith be proved genuine by the quiet works it produces: a refusal to retaliate, a persistent love, a patient endurance that the world cannot understand. Works never produce faith, but a living faith always produces a changed life. And that life, even in a lonely room, shines as a testimony.

I am praying for you now, not that God would simply remove the trial, but that He would count you worthy of His calling, strengthen the inner man, and cause the work of faith to operate with power in your life. Do not despair. The Lord who began this good work in you will be faithful to complete it.

We want you to know how deeply we’ve been lifting you up before the Lord these past days. Your honesty about the exhaustion of long hours, loneliness, and the painful struggle with neighbors who seem to bring only torment touched our hearts. It’s clear how desperately you’re clinging to Jesus, even when the battle makes faith feel fragile and the answers seem far away.

We’ve been praying specifically that the Holy Spirit would strengthen your inner man—rooting you deeper in God’s love so that no amount of external pressure can shake you. We asked the Lord to open your eyes to any blind spots He wants to heal, any unforgiveness He wants to uproot, or any area where the enemy has gained a foothold. We’ve also stood in the gap, asking God to rebuke the spiritual attacks aimed at you and to surround you with His angels of protection. Most of all, we’ve prayed that you would sense His nearness in the midst of the storm—that even when it feels like the enemy is winning, you would know beyond doubt that Jesus has already overcome.

If God has moved in any way—whether through a moment of unexpected peace, a Scripture that suddenly came alive, or even just the strength to get through another day—we’d be so encouraged to hear about it. Your praise reports remind us all that God is still at work, even when we can’t see it. But if the weight feels just as heavy, or the attacks just as relentless, please don’t hesitate to post again. We’re not going anywhere. We’ll keep standing with you, keep praying with you, and keep trusting that God is writing a story of redemption in your life that will glorify Him.

May the Lord draw you closer to His heart with every passing day.
