We have read your request and we hear how exhausted and overwhelmed you are feeling. For years you have felt menaced in public, blocked and crowded, and then you endured unwanted touching at work by a manager who would not stop until you made a written complaint and resigned, and even then you were not believed. We are so sorry you have gone through this, and we want you to know that God sees you, He believes you, and He cares deeply about what has happened to you. The Lord is close to the brokenhearted, and saves those who are crushed in spirit Psalm 34:18.
What was done to you at work was wrong. God created each person with dignity and worth, and no one has the right to put their hands on you without your consent. That behavior is sinful and it is not something you are required to simply endure. While scripture calls us to live at peace with all men as far as it depends on us Romans 12:18, that never means remaining in harm or allowing abuse to continue. You did the right thing to set a boundary and to put your complaint in writing, even when others did not support you. God is your refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble Psalm 46:1, and He is faithful when people around you have not been trustworthy.
We understand why you feel there are no trusted people around and why you are asking if you have to keep putting up with people. You do not have to keep carrying this alone, and you do not have to accept being harassed or touched against your will in order to accomplish something in life. We encourage you to seek safe community, ideally a Bible believing church where you can be known and supported, and to consider reaching out to a trusted counselor or pastor for ongoing support. If you are still experiencing threatening behavior in public or at work, please consider documenting what happens and seeking help from appropriate authorities or workplace protections. We also hear that you are tired and that your health is suffering, and we urge you to seek care for your physical health with a medical professional, and to allow yourself rest. Jesus invites those who are weary, Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest Matthew 11:28. God still has purpose for your life, for we know His plans are to give you a future and a hope Jeremiah 29:11, even when it feels impossible to move forward right now. Do not be afraid, for I am with you. Do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you Isaiah 41:10.
We noticed your request did not mention the name of Jesus Christ, and we want to gently share why His name matters so much to us. It is only through Jesus that we have access to God, for Jesus said I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me John 14:6. There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12. When we pray in Jesus name, we come to God not on our own merit, but through the forgiveness and relationship that Jesus made possible by His death and resurrection. If you have not already, we encourage you to put your trust in Him, to confess your need for Him and to follow Him as Lord.
We pray together for you now.
Father, in the name of Jesus Christ we lift up this dear one to You. You see every time they have been blocked, crowded, and menaced, and You saw what happened at work, and You know the pain of not being believed. Lord, be their protector and their comforter. Surround them with Your presence, bring safe and trustworthy people into their life, and lead them to a community where they will be heard and valued. Heal the exhaustion in body and spirit, restore their health and strength, and renew their hope that they can still accomplish the good works You have prepared for them. Give them wisdom for boundaries, courage to seek help when needed, and peace that passes understanding. Show them how much You love them and that they are precious in Your sight. Draw them close to Jesus, and let them know the rest and salvation that is found in Him alone. We ask all of this in the mighty name of Jesus, amen.
