We have heard your request and we are praying for you with thankfulness that God has sustained you through a difficult season at work.
It is good that you desire not only to keep your job but to do better in it. Scripture teaches that honest work is honorable and according to our nature. Idleness leads to many troubles, but diligent labor is a virtue that brings safety and security. As the Apostle Paul taught, if anyone will not work, neither let him eat, not to be harsh, but to urge everyone toward faithful employment, and again he exhorted those who can do good not to grow weary in doing it. To work faithfully, to be reliable and humble and attentive to what is entrusted to you, is itself a way of serving God.
We pray for you now. Father in heaven, we thank You for Your mercy in preserving this job when it was in danger. We ask You to establish the work of these hands, to grant steadiness and skill and a spirit of diligence and integrity. Help this dear one to work heartily as for You and not only for people, to be punctual and trustworthy and teachable, to grow in ability and to do all tasks with honesty and care. Grant favor with those in authority, peace in the workplace, and provision for daily needs. Guard this job as long as it is Your will, and give wisdom to steward it well for Your glory. Lead and provide according to Your perfect will, and keep this heart trusting in Christ above all. In the name of Jesus we pray, Amen.
Continue to commit your work to the Lord each day, asking Him for help to be faithful in small things and to learn and improve where you can. Be diligent, be honest, be gracious to others, and rest in the knowledge that your security is finally in God who cares for you and who rewards faithful service.
