To be strong in the lord

We join you in this desire to be strong in the Lord and we bring this request before the Father together in Jesus name. It is a good and biblical desire, for true strength does not come from our own willpower or resolve but from abiding in Him.

The Scripture calls us to this very thing. Finally, be strong in the Lord, and in the strength of his might. Ephesians 6:10. We are also reminded Haven't I commanded you Be strong and courageous Don't be afraid, neither be dismayed for Yahweh your God is with you wherever you go. Joshua 1:9 and Don't you be afraid, for I am with you Don't be dismayed, for I am your God I will strengthen you Yes, I will help you Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness. Isaiah 41:10. We cling to the promise that I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me. Philippians 4:13 and that For God didn't give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control. 2 Timothy 1:7.

We want to encourage you that strength in the Lord grows as we walk closely with Him each day. We grow strong as we stay in His Word, as we pray continually, as we put on the whole armor of God, and as we fellowship with other believers who will sharpen and uphold us. When we feel weak, that is the moment to wait on Him, for Wait for Yahweh Be strong, and let your heart take courage Yes, wait for Yahweh. Psalm 27:14. His strength is made perfect in our weakness.

We notice you wrote lord and we want to gently remind you that it is only through Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father and it is only through His name that we are saved and strengthened. Jesus said to him I am the way, the truth, and the life No one comes to the Father, except through me. John 14:6 and There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved. Acts 4:12. So we come to God not on our own merit but through faith in Jesus Christ, believing that He died for our sins and rose again, and trusting Him as Lord and Savior.

We pray together for you now. Father in heaven, we thank You for this heart that longs to be strong in You. We ask in the name of Jesus that You fill our dear one with Your Holy Spirit and strengthen the inner being with power. Help us to stand firm against discouragement and temptation and to walk in obedience to Your Word. Teach us to depend not on our own strength but on Yours each day, to pray without ceasing, to delight in Your Word, and to trust Your promises. Uphold us with Your righteous right hand and make us courageous and steadfast in Christ. Let Your joy be our strength and let Your peace guard our hearts. We ask this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior. Amen.

We encourage you to keep seeking Him daily, for He is faithful to strengthen those who wait on Him. He who began a good work in you will complete it as you abide in Christ.

We appreciate you sharing this simple, sincere desire to be strong in the Lord. We hear how much you want to walk closely with Him, and we are praying for you toward that.

One thing that has helped many of us is to think of strength less as trying hard for a moment and more as training over time, like preparing for a long race. Small, regular practices shape us gradually, and God uses them to form our hearts. That can take the pressure off needing to feel strong all at once and help us see ourselves as works in progress in His hands.

If it would be helpful, consider choosing one small, steady rhythm for the next couple of weeks rather than many at once. For many, that has been a brief time each day to pray honestly and read Scripture slowly, or meeting regularly with one or two faithful believers for encouragement and accountability. Notice what God has already placed in you, your gifts and tendencies to care, serve, or persevere, and look for ways to use those to love Him and serve others. Consistency in the small things often bears more fruit than intensity that fades.

Father, we lift our friend to You and thank You for the desire You have placed in their heart to be strong in You. Draw them close, teach them to rest in Your grace, and build them up day by day as they seek You. Give wisdom, steadiness, and joy in walking with You. In Jesus' name, amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

It is a blessed and most needful petition you have put up, to be strong in the Lord, for all true strength must come from Him and not from ourselves. The word of the Lord saith, Be strong in the Lord, and in the power of His might, and again, Trust ye in the Lord for ever, for in the Lord Jehovah is everlasting strength.

You do well to ask this, as the apostles did when they cried, Lord, increase our faith. Faith is the sinew of strength. When faith is increased, strength is increased, for faith can do anything by laying hold upon the Almighty arm. Pray then that the Holy Spirit would forge in you that shield of faith which quenches all the fiery darts of the enemy, and that your faith may be fixed not in notions but in the Person of Christ Himself.

Remember also that the joy of the Lord is your strength. As the light of joy varies so does the warmth of holy strength. He who dwells in the light of God is both happy and strong, and he who loses the joy of the Lord becomes weak at the same time. Seek to walk in the light of the Lord and to rest in the Lord Himself, not merely in His gifts or blessings, but in His own faithful Person as revealed in Jesus Christ. There is the royal chamber of rest, and there the soul goes from strength to strength while singing in the ways of the Lord.

Do not be discouraged if you feel you have but little strength. The Lord did not blame the church at Philadelphia for having little strength, but commended them because with that little they kept His word and did not deny His name. Like the limpet that has but little strength yet sticks firmly to the rock, so keep close to Christ and be steadfast in the faith once delivered unto the saints.

So I will pray for you, that the Lord would increase your faith, restore unto you the joy of His salvation, keep you resting in Christ, and make you to glory only and heartily and growingly in the Lord, that you may be fortified against temptation, quiet in heart, fixed and trusting, and strong to do His will in the drawing room and in the workshop, wherever He has placed you. May He who is your Shepherd make you strong with His own everlasting strength, for His glory and your peace, through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

Your desire to be strong in the Lord is good and God delights to answer it. Scripture says, finally be strong in the Lord and in the strength of His might, which teaches us that true strength does not come from ourselves but from Him.

To be strong in this way is to be strong in faith. Like Abraham, who staggered not at the promise though nature gave no hope, we become strong when we do not trust our own reasonings but trust God and give glory to Him. This strength is also learned through drawing near to God with a true heart in full assurance of faith, and through much prayer, perseverance and endurance. Faith itself requires great power of soul to thrust aside unbelief, and God supplies that power as we look to Him and remain faithful in the small things of daily obedience.

I pray for you that God will strengthen you in your inner being by His Spirit, that you will be rooted in His word, steadfast in prayer, and enabled to stand firm against every temptation. May He keep your heart sprinkled and made clean through Christ, increase your faith, and give you endurance to continue faithfully until you receive all the good things He has promised.
