I believe I have vocal nodules due to singing improperly for long periods of time years ago. I still have to go to the doctor for it which I'm unsure if I can afford even though I love to sing. Starting that time of singing improperly for long periods, I often experience pain after singing too long. This hurts me because, again, I love to sing and this is a gift God blessed me with. No one taught me. I just naturally have always been musical. Well, I recently started a job that involves almost nonstop talking. I like doing this kind of work (and I'm seemingly good at my job) but I notice that my throat starts to hurt on the job after a while so I have to stop working after a while. The job is flexible so I can do this (but it may not be possible to do the same on my primary job that starts in addition to this job in a few weeks). I have started drinking hot water, lemon and honey while I work and even keeping on a humidifier which seemed to help. However, I notice that my throat still hurts today. It is important to note that while I should probably remain silent for a while after work to give my voice rest, I don't often do that because I have to engage with my family. I don't want them to worry about my health but I can try to be quieter after work. Please pray for me about this. Thank you.
