Your prayers reflect a caring heart that is carrying many people before the Lord, and that is a beautiful thing. It is right to bring each of these needs to Him, trusting His wisdom and His love to do what is best.

You asked for wisdom, discernment, clarity and alignment with God's will, and Scripture says that is the most important thing to seek. Wisdom is spoken of as a voice calling out to be heard, inviting us to listen and to walk in her ways. The fear of the Lord is where wisdom begins, not with clever ideas or worldly understanding, but with reverence for God and submission to Him. When we seek Him first, wisdom preserves and keeps us. Her ways are pleasant and her paths are peace, and length of days is in her hand. She is better than rubies or riches, and nothing we desire compares to her. Knowledge gives facts, but wisdom gives the proper use of knowledge, and wisdom gives life to those who have it. Money can be a defense, but wisdom is a better defense because it guards the heart and guides the life.

In Christ are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge. The wisdom of this world, no matter how impressive it sounds, comes to nothing and cannot lead anyone to know God. True wisdom comes from above, and it is pure and leads to a life that honors Him. That is the wisdom to pray for in every situation you mentioned.

For your friend battling cancer and leukemia, we pray for God's mercy and healing according to His perfect will. We ask that He would surround her with daily joy, love and support, and that He would use her generous spirit as a testimony of His grace even in suffering. We pray the same for your friend's sister who had brain surgery, that God would grant a swift recovery and relief from the symptoms, and that He would draw that whole family close together and close to Himself, comforting them with tenderness and reminding them they are not alone. For your dad with the new device for stomach pain and anxiety, and for your mom as she seeks strength, we ask the Lord to be present in their daily suffering, to bring healing as He wills, and to give them and you more time to make memories together that honor Him.

For your friend who is seeing someone new, we pray not simply for happiness as the world defines it, but for God's wisdom to lead her. We ask that any relationship would be guided by His design for purity and for marriage as a lifelong covenant between one man and one woman, with intimacy kept within that covenant. True joy comes from walking in His ways, so we pray she would seek His will above all else and that her prayers would be shaped by what honors Him.

For your own desire for a wife and a family, God sees that longing and He honors the desire for marriage when it is according to His pattern. It is understandable to feel frustrated when you wonder if you have missed time with the one you hope to share your life with. This is where trusting God's wisdom over our own understanding matters most. His timing is not ours, and His wisdom founded the earth and established the heavens. He knows the future that we do not know. Rather than leaning on worldly wisdom or on anxious striving, keep watching daily at the gates of wisdom, listening for His instruction, waiting before Him in prayer and in His Word. He who finds wisdom finds life and obtains favor from the Lord. As you walk in the fear of the Lord, He will give clarity step by step and align your heart with His will.

We pray that God would give you that understanding heart, that you would grow in grace and in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ, and that the love and peace that come from life in His Son would guard you while you wait. May He conform you more to the image of Christ, and may you experience His presence guiding the issues of your life each day. We trust all of these loved ones and your future into the hands of Jesus, through whom alone we have salvation and access to the Father. Amen.
