Beloved of All
My family is going out of town, soon. Hope the weather cooperates. Hope blue medical scooter still works. My mum ### is an ESL tutor; has issues with some students, some worse than others, they are a few challenging students on Preply; one young female student disrespectful to my mum, student needs to change her behaviour or stop taking classes; another student whose an adult, seems polite but hard to explain but is hard to deal with. They might be a new student on Preply, that might be challenging as they ask a lot. I hope my mum doesn’t cheat and force me to become a Preply student again, just to remain a Super Tutor; they are more important things to worry about. Hope to get a new wheelchair, as the one I’m in now is falling apart; and my mum may need one as she is going to have foot surgery, which hope turns out well.

We join together with you in bringing these everyday concerns before our heavenly Father, trusting that He cares about the details of our lives as well as the matters of our hearts.

We pray for your family's upcoming time out of town, that the Lord would grant traveling mercies and that the weather would be favorable according to His good will. We remember that every good provision comes from Him and we can cast our cares upon Him. We lift up the blue medical scooter and your current wheelchair which is falling apart, and your hope for a new one, as well as your mum's upcoming need as she faces foot surgery. We ask God to provide for these practical needs and to sustain you both. Philippians 4:19 reminds us that our God will supply every need of ours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus, and Psalm 121:8 says Yahweh will keep your going out and your coming in, from this time on, and forevermore.

We also lift up your mum in her work as an ESL tutor. We understand how discouraging it can be to deal with challenging students, especially when there is disrespect from a young student and difficulty in communication with others, even when they seem polite. We pray that God would give her wisdom, patience, and grace to handle each student with firmness and love. Colossians 4:6 teaches us to let your speech always be with grace, seasoned with salt, that you may know how you ought to answer each one, and Proverbs 15:1 says a gentle answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger. We pray that the disrespectful student would have a change of heart and learn to show honor, and that your mum would have discernment to set healthy boundaries, including the wisdom to know when it is right for a student to stop taking classes if behavior does not improve. We also pray for the new student who asks a lot, that your mum would have endurance and clarity, and that God would use her work to be a light even in difficult teaching situations.

We want to lovingly address the concern you raised about cheating to remain a Super Tutor, where your mum might force you to become a Preply student again. We must rebuke any form of dishonesty, even when the pressure to keep a status or reputation feels strong. The Lord desires truth and integrity in all we do, and dishonest gain is not honoring to Him. Proverbs 11:1 tells us a false balance is an abomination to Yahweh, but accurate weights are his delight, and Colossians 3:9 says do not lie to one another, seeing that you have put off the old man with his doings. Proverbs 21:6 warns that getting treasures by a lying tongue is a fleeting vapor and a snare of death. We encourage you both to trust God rather than resorting to deceit, for even small compromises can harm your testimony and your conscience. If you are asked to do something dishonest, we encourage you to respectfully and lovingly decline, for we ought to obey God rather than men when the two conflict, Acts 5:29, while still honoring your mother as Exodus 20:12 calls us to honor your father and your mother. There are more important things to worry about, as you said, and the most important thing is walking honestly before the Lord, for He sees in secret and rewards faithfulness.

We also bring your mum's foot surgery before the Lord, asking for skilled hands for the doctors, a successful outcome, and a smooth recovery. We pray for healing and for provision of any mobility aids she may need, and for your own need for a new wheelchair. Jeremiah 30:17 says But I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh, and Isaiah 41:10 reminds us not to be afraid, for I am with you. Do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness. We cast all our worries on Him, because 1 Peter 5:7 says cast all your worries on him, because he cares for you, and Philippians 4:6-7 encourages us in nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus.

We noticed your request did not mention the name of Jesus Christ, and we want to gently share why His name is so essential. It is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father and that our prayers are heard. John 14:6 says Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. And Acts 4:12 declares there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved. We encourage you to place your trust in Jesus, believing that He died for our sins and rose again, for Romans 10:9 says that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. It is in His name we pray with confidence.

So we pray together now, in Jesus name, Father we thank You for Your care over this family. We ask for safe travel and for Your hand over the weather. We ask You to keep the blue medical scooter working and to provide a new wheelchair that is sturdy and reliable, and to meet the need for mobility for both this dear one and for their mum. We ask for Your healing touch upon their mum's foot, guide the surgeons and grant complete recovery. Give her wisdom and grace with each challenging student, soften the heart of the disrespectful young woman, give patience with the difficult adult student and the new student who asks much, and help her to set boundaries that honor You. Keep this family from any dishonest path, and give courage to choose integrity even under pressure, trusting that You will honor those who honor You. Fill their hearts with Your peace that passes all understanding, and draw them closer to Jesus, in whose name we have hope and access to You. Amen.

Thank you for sharing all that is on your mind right now. There is a lot overlapping at once, your family trip and the weather, the scooter and wheelchairs, your mum's foot surgery, and the strain she is feeling with her Preply students.

We hear how much you care about your mum and also how uncomfortable it is to feel pulled into her tutoring pressures. It makes sense you would not want to be signed up as a student again just to help keep a Super Tutor status when there are more pressing needs at home. It can help to have a calm, clear talk with her soon about that boundary, so she knows where you stand before that decision comes up. Preply also has tools to set limits with students who are disrespectful or overly demanding, including pausing or ending the match, and it may ease some of her stress to use those options rather than carrying difficult students.

With your wheelchair wearing out and your mum possibly needing one after surgery, reaching out soon to her care team or a local medical equipment provider to ask about options and timing may help you plan ahead, alongside prayer.

Father, in Jesus' name we lift this family to You. We ask for safety and good weather for their travel, for the scooter to keep working, and for provision for a reliable wheelchair. Give wisdom to this mum in her tutoring and calm in her home, guide her surgery and bring healing to her foot, and give our friend peace and clarity as they support her. Amen.

Your many cares have been laid before the Lord and we have heard them with sympathy, for they touch both the daily mercies and the daily trials of life.

We will bring before our gracious Father your family's journey, that He who holds the winds in His hands would grant you safe travel and seasonable weather. We are not left to chance, for even the clouds move at His bidding, and whether the sun shines or the rain falls, we may trust that He orders all things well for those who love Him. May He keep you in going out and coming in, and make your way prosperous according to His will.

We will pray also for those bodily helps upon which you depend, the scooter which you use and the wheelchair which now is worn and failing. The Lord is not unmindful of the body, for He made it and He pities our infirmities. There is One who cares for you in the home of your destitution, and His eye is fixed upon you. We will ask Him to preserve what you have for present use and in His providence to supply what is needed, whether a repaired chair or a new one, according to His wisdom and goodness. We will remember your mother also, that the Lord would prepare her for the surgery upon her foot and grant skill to the hands that shall attend her, and healing in His own time. We very speedily care for bodily diseases, and we do well to take them to the Great Physician who heals both soul and body.

For your mother's labour as a tutor we will also pray. To teach with patience is itself a service done unto the King, and such work is often trying to the soul. Pray that the Lord would clothe her with the soft grace of patience and give her wisdom to deal faithfully with those who are disrespectful or difficult. The young woman who shows disrespect has need to learn correction, and it is right to require that she change her behaviour or cease from the class. The other students who weary by their manner or their many questions also require forbearance and firmness. May the Lord give your mother discernment to speak the truth in love and to maintain order with kindness.

Concerning the matter of remaining a Super Tutor, we must speak plainly as before God. Honest dealing with God and with men is required of us, for if we walk in the light our ways must tally with truth. To create false students or to force another to enrol where there is no true desire to learn would be a deceit, and deceit never brings blessing, for we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us. Far better to lose a title than to lose a clear conscience. Pray that your mother may be kept from any such temptation and may trust the Lord to provide for her teaching as He sees fit, for there are indeed more important things to worry about than a name upon a platform. Let integrity govern all, and leave the results with Him who rewards faithfulness.

May you both be kept in humble dependence upon the Lord Jesus Christ, in whom alone is salvation and through whose blood we have cleansing from all sin. Seek Him daily, hear His Word for yourself, and live with the King for His work, and you shall find Him to be your strength in weakness, your provision in need, and your peace in every trial.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

God, please forever honor this prayer over each of our lives. God Thank You. Amen, so be it by faith, and by faith, it is so. Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

We have heard your requests and we join you in bringing them before the Lord.

We pray for your family as they travel out of town, that God would grant safety on the road and that the weather would be favorable for your journey. We also pray for your daily needs, for the blue medical scooter to continue to work reliably, and for the provision of a new wheelchair for you since the one you have is falling apart. Scripture teaches us to make provision for the body for health and not for indulgence, and it is right to ask God to care for our bodily needs so we can live and serve Him with strength. We ask Him to provide what you need according to His mercy.

We lift up your mum to the Lord. We pray for her work as an ESL tutor on Preply and for wisdom and patience as she deals with challenging students. For the young female student who has been disrespectful, we pray that the student would learn respect and change her behavior, and that your mum would have grace and firmness to set healthy boundaries. For the adult student who is polite but difficult to work with, and for any new student who may require much attention, we pray that God would give your mum discernment, clear communication, and peace in her teaching. We also pray that she would be upheld in integrity. Your concern about being asked to become a student again just to keep a Super Tutor status is understandable, and we encourage honesty and trust in God rather than any form of cheating. The Lord honors faithfulness in small things, and He can sustain her work without compromise. There are indeed more important things to worry about, and we pray you both can rest in His provision rather than feeling pressured to manipulate the system.

We also pray for your mum's upcoming foot surgery, that the Lord would guide the hands of the doctors, grant a successful outcome, and bring complete healing. We pray for her recovery and for provision if she also needs a wheelchair for a time, that her pain would be eased and her strength restored. The church is meant to be a spiritual surgery where wounds are healed, and we ask Christ the great physician to bring healing to your bodies and peace to your hearts.

We pray all of this in the name of Jesus Christ, who alone is our salvation and our hope, asking for His grace, provision, and protection over you and your family.
