The Encourager
God life can be hard at times and I look around and see and hear all these crazy and negative things that are going on in this world. It unsettles me at times. But I heard that whatever does not kill me will make me stronger. I can’t find that in the Bible. There is no scripture that says that.
God I pray in Jesus’ name that whatever doesn’t kill me will make me stronger and not weaker. That is will make me better and not bitter. That it will push me closer to You than further from You Lord Jesus. That it will make me wiser and nobodies’ fool.
When life becomes unsettling to my flesh and spirit that tells me God I need to know You and Your Word better. Your Word will give me the strength that I need to stand and fight the good fight of faith. So help me know You and the Word of God better through the reading and hearing of Your Word on a consistent bases. Help me to make knowing Your Word a priority in my life. Teach me how to spend quality time in my Bible; meditating upon Your Word. Let Your Word dwell within me richly so that I will become stronger, smarter, wiser, and a healthier Christian. Please do the same for the writer of this prayer, my family and friends. And God one more thing, Thank You for Your Word. Thank You for the peace, direction, guidance, faith and strength it gives me. Thank You. Thank You. Thank You. Amen!
