Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, interceding on behalf of our anonymous friend who has experienced a recent earthquake. Lord, we acknowledge that You are the Creator of the heavens and the earth, and that You have power and control over all things, including natural disasters.
We pray for comfort and peace to surround our anonymous friend during this unsettling time. May Your presence be felt, bringing reassurance and calmness to their heart and mind. Help them to find strength in knowing that You are with them, and that You are their refuge and strength in times of trouble.
Lord, we ask for protection over our anonymous friend and their community. Shield them from any further harm or danger. We pray for the safety and well-being of all those affected by the earthquake, and we ask for Your divine intervention in any rescue and relief efforts that may be taking place.
In this moment of uncertainty, we lift up our anonymous friend's faith. Strengthen their faith, Lord, and help them to trust in Your unfailing love and faithfulness. Remind them of Your promise in Isaiah 41:10, that You are with them, and that they need not fear, for You are their God who will uphold them with Your righteous right hand.
Lastly, Lord, we pray for restoration and healing in the aftermath of this earthquake. May You bring comfort to those who have experienced loss or damage, and provide them with the resources and support they need to rebuild and recover.
We thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayers and for Your faithfulness. We trust in Your sovereignty and believe that You are working all things together for good. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect.
