Beloved of All
Your request about the hot water in your building has been heard and we join you in prayer for it. To be without hot water is a real hardship, and to be told it would be finished and then to find the work still delayed makes the cold more difficult to bear.
Scripture reminds us that we have need of patience, that after we have done the will of God we might receive the promise. Patience is shown not in a moment but over time, and even a small delay can test us. It is like an athlete who has finished the contest and must wait a little while for the crown to be given. The waiting itself calls for endurance, and God uses even these ordinary trials to teach us to wait with hope and trust.
We pray that the Lord, who created all things for our good and who daily provides for our needs, who gives water and warmth and every good provision, will give skill and diligence to those repairing the heating system and that the work will be completed quickly as promised, even by tomorrow. We ask Him to keep you in health and comfort in the meantime, to guard you from sickness, and to give you patience and peace while you wait.
May God grant that the repairs are finished without further delay, and may He comfort you and supply what you need each day. We will continue to pray for this need with you.
