There are things I need to let go of so I can move on.

I need to leave behind the desire to control things I cannot control. It has been draining me more than I care to admit. I carry stress that I should not have carried in the first place. Not everything needs fixing, and not everything will go my way. Life moves without gripping it so tight. Peace comes when I loosen my hands.

Praying for you and your request in Jesus.

Have we ever really meditated on Matthew 6 where Jesus instructs us to take no thought for our lives? I have looked at this in terms of the rest of the Bible where I have learned to claim His Promises in Jesus and take on His thoughts for my life. Thank You Lord Jesus for Blessing me to learn to stop thinking about my life, learn to take on Your thoughts for my life and so much more for Your Glory and my good in Jesus! Amen! Thank You Jesus! Glory to You Lord Jesus!!!

Do you Believe Jesus died for our sins, is Risen from the dead, is Preparing a place for us and is about to call us to join Him?

Are you watching for Jesus in the Clouds of Glory? Jesus is about to call us to join Him!

We can do everything Jesus did and more! We can speak; sickness leave in Jesus! Be healed by Jesus stripes! I am healed by Jesus stripes! Amen! Thank You Lord Jesus!

You can copy and paste this to pray every day and share...

There is nothing that happens for us that is bad except our thoughts about what is happening to us. The Bible says All things work together for our good in Jesus! Look at everything as good!

Sing through out your days Thank You Jesus, Praise You Jesus, Glory to You Lord Jesus or anything that is on your heart to sing to Jesus! It doesn't matter how we sound, Angels will join in with us and Jesus will join in with us as well as fight for us, knock down walls for us, open locks for us, save people for us, evil will flee from us, He heals us and He will over flow His Holy Peace in us.

Praying for others on here and reading your Bible will help you tremendously.

I wanted to commit suicide once, I even came up with a plan. Right before I headed out the door I posted a prayer on here and hoping there might be help from God one last time I opened the Bible and only read take no thought for your life from Matthew 6. I read that before at least 100 times but never really could understand how. This time I took it to heart, all right God I will end my life by not thinking about it. I take no thought, I take no thought, I take no thought over and over and over again I take no thought was my only thought that day. All of a sudden I noticed something, Jesus showed up, all my pains were gone, no neck ache, no back pain, no leg pain from many many accidents I had over the years and no pain in my heart as my wife had left me. I started singing praises and thanks to Jesus and my life has never been the same. My wife returned. It is our obedience to God from His Holy Instructions that makes a difference to His Power of His Promises in our lives.

Be a doer of Jesus friend, it really makes a difference! Thank You Lord Jesus! All things work together for my good in Jesus!

Search the Bible for Jesus' Promises friend, do them and claim them in Jesus! Amen! Thank You Lord Jesus! Glory to You Lord Jesus!!!

Let Us Pray: God I ask in Jesus' name, bless me to grow closer to You. I long for a more intimate relationship with You. God I take You at Your Word, if I will draw closer to You, You will draw closer to me (James 4:8). Show me how to draw closer to You. Bless me daily to cast off and forsake my thoughts and ways for my life, and exchange them for Your thoughts and ways for my life. Let me think Your thoughts and dream Your dreams for my life. God bless me to live and walk in Your love, mercy and forgiveness (Isaiah 55:7). I confess, I will take no thought for my life. I will trust You Father God to take thought for me and take care of me (Mathew 6:25-34). I will not be wise in my own eyes, I will fear You Lord and depart from evil and my flesh will be healed and my body will be refreshed (Proverbs 3:7-8) daily. Thank You Jesus for Your Promises! Lord make me the Child of God You need me to be in Christ for all those around me and for the world to see (Psalms 128:3). Not by my might, nor by my power, but by Your Spirt Christ Jesus (Zechariah 4:6) this shall happen. And it will happen, it is happening now in Your timing, Power, Strength, Might, and Spirit, Christ Jesus. God all that I have asked of you in this prayer please do the same for all those I love, care about, and every faithful prayer warrior on this site. Thank You, Thank You, Thank You Lord Jesus, my Savior and Lord for answering this prayer with a Yes and Amen.

Bless us to sing praises and thanks to You Lord Jesus so You can fill us with the wine of the Spirit in Jesus Name, Amen.

We hear your heart, dear one, and we stand with you in this place of surrender. The desire to control what is not ours to hold is a heavy burden—one that weighs down the spirit and steals the peace that God freely offers. You are not alone in this struggle; even the apostle Paul wrestled with the thorn in his flesh, pleading with the Lord to remove it. Yet God’s answer was clear: *"My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness."* (2 Corinthians 12:9 WEB) The Lord does not call us to carry what He has already borne. When we cling too tightly to outcomes, people, or circumstances, we forget that His hands are the ones that uphold all things.

We must rebuke the lie that says peace depends on our ability to manipulate or force things into place. The truth is, peace is a gift from God, found only when we release our grip and trust in His sovereignty. Jesus Himself said, *"Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart; and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light."* (Matthew 11:28-30 WEB) The yoke of Christ is not one of striving, but of surrender. When we try to carry what is not ours to carry, we reject the rest He offers.

Let us pray for you now:

Heavenly Father, we come before You on behalf of our brother/sister who is weary from the weight of control. Lord, You see the places where they have tried to take Your place, where they have gripped too tightly to what was never theirs to hold. We ask that You would loosen their hands, not by force, but by the gentle conviction of Your Spirit. Remind them that You are the One who holds the universe together, that Your plans are higher than theirs, and that Your ways are perfect. Father, we rebuke the spirit of anxiety and control that has taken root in their heart. We declare that it has no place in their life, for You have not given them a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control. (2 Timothy 1:7 WEB)

Lord, teach them to cast their cares upon You, for You care for them deeply. (1 Peter 5:7 WEB) Help them to recognize the difference between responsibility and control, between stewardship and manipulation. Give them the wisdom to know when to act and when to release. Fill them with Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guarding their heart and mind in Christ Jesus. (Philippians 4:7 WEB) May they find rest in the knowledge that You are working all things together for their good, even when they cannot see it. (Romans 8:28 WEB)

We pray that as they release their grip, they would feel the freedom of trusting You completely. May they walk in the confidence that comes from knowing You are in control, and that Your love for them is unshakable. Strengthen them to let go of the need to fix what only You can heal, and to surrender the outcomes they cannot change. Fill them with Your joy as they learn to abide in You, for apart from You, they can do nothing. (John 15:5 WEB) In the precious name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you to meditate on the words of Proverbs 3:5-6: *"Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will direct your paths."* (WEB) This is not a call to passivity, but to active trust. There are things you *can* control—your responses, your attitudes, your choices to seek God first. But the rest? That is where faith steps in. When you feel the urge to grip tightly, pause and ask yourself: *Is this mine to carry, or is it God’s?* If it is His, release it. If it is yours, ask Him for the strength to carry it in a way that honors Him.

You are not giving up when you surrender; you are stepping into the freedom that Christ died to give you. The peace you long for is not found in having everything go your way, but in trusting that God’s way is always best. Keep your eyes on Him, and let His love be the anchor for your soul. You are deeply loved, and your Heavenly Father is holding you even now.

We're right there with you, friend, as you navigate this journey of letting go. It's tough, isn't it? The desire to control, to fix, to make things bend to our will - it's a heavy weight to carry. But remember, we're not meant to bear this burden alone. Jesus said, "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest." (Matthew 11:28)

Imagine standing at the edge of a cliff, holding a heavy backpack filled with stones. Each stone represents a worry, a desire to control, a stressor. Now, picture Jesus standing beside you, His arms outstretched, saying, "Give me your backpack. I'll carry it for you." That's the invitation He's extending to you right now.

We're not saying it's easy. It's a process, a daily surrender. But it's a process that brings freedom, peace, and joy. As Psalm 37:4 tells us, "Take delight in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart." When we delight in Him, when we trust Him, He gives us the desires of our heart - not necessarily the things we want, but the things we truly need.

So, let's pray together, shall we? Lord, we come before You today, carrying our heavy backpacks. Help us, Lord, to trust You more. Help us to let go of the things we cannot control, and to hold onto You instead. Fill us with Your peace, Your joy, Your love. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

And remember, you're not alone. We're here with you, cheering you on every step of the way. Keep trusting, keep surrendering, and keep your eyes on Jesus. He's got you, and He's not letting go.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy.

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.
